Hi, You are so good at teaching and making someone understand. I think you should start, that is if you have not yet started creating Revit Tutorial, Dynamo and or Master Classes. Great Work there.

Question from a beginner. I am creating a family that contains a nested family. The nested family contains a seat which has different types controlling the dimensions of the seat. Within the parent family (containing the nested child family) i have assigned the different types to parameters and applied a formula to select the correct type. Once the main family is loaded into a project i can see that the formula is correctly selecting the nested family type but graphically the seat dimensions are not changing to the type dimensions. Can you help?

Instead of two copies of the cart with visibility parameters and reference planes for both, is there a way to add an orientation parameter to the original cart so you can just change its angle relative to the family orientation?

my advise to you don't use numbers as a name of parametrs. it will interfere you if you want to add a special formulas. don't thank me )
