I led the ride, knew where we were and where we were going the entire time, as I've ridden the area countless times before. The part where you say we stopped to look at a map is just us enjoying the view and giving slower riders a chance to catch up.
It rained that morning, I was hoping that the logging roads wouldn't be so dusty. My wife and I hung back a little and we hardly got the dust you did.😆
Did that guy make it home? That’s a hell of a place to break down with a giant bike. I don’t like group rides on the street, the dirt looks even worse if you’re choking on dust the whole time. Maybe I’m just too antisocial 🤷🏼♂️
They had a trailer waiting somewhere. Home i presume. They rode 2 up on the little BMW 310 two hours home to get it. I think our sweep rode with them to make sure they didn't have more problems. But yes, i spent the rest of the day thinking about how to prevent my own drain plug issues that could happen, since low profile drain plug is a gen 3 klr 650 topic. I think in their case, the drain plug might have just vibrated out, maybe was only hand tight. I had camera footage from the 10 minutes leading up to the when i caught him. Never saw a reason to spring a leak
Yeah I made it, sorry for the language. My wife and I rode the BMW 310 home to get the trailer.... I think the only way that sight would of been funnier is if we were wearing bear suits. That's going to be our next trip 😂 I was really frustrated because that's the second time this year I lost the oil drain plug and I checked it shortly before we left. I've had the bike for almost 5 years without a incidence but all of a sudden twice. This is the last year on this bike anyways I'm getting a enduro! 😁
@@stevewolbaum393that’s must have been a sight. I can’t imagine losing one drain plug, let alone two. I guess that’s the price you pay for not riding a Klr ;).

LoL i know, it's just commentary for entertainment's sake 🤣

good idea 👍
If you come down to Southern Oregon Powers specifically, I'll show you some sweet back roads
I had a lot fun on my trip through there a month ago! There is definitely a lot left to see.
Definitely check/clean your air filter after THAT. Wowzers.
i need a new toothbrush too 😅
Thanks for the video's. I live and ride in the Gold Beach area.
So are we putting googly eyes on the windshield? Please don't lol.
Cool vid though. It's always fun seeing what others are riding.
Well there goes that idea 🤣😅
Doing what the KLR was made for, then you can run 75 all the way home if you need to & it's back ready to go long before we are!
how'd you know how fast i drove home? 🤣
@@getlostbrandon It's a KLR
