A swiffer like mop is excellent for baseboards! The stick is just as long as a broom and it bends up against the baseboards. You can dry dust or wet clean with it. I found a really good one at a Dollar tree store with the washable pads. The stick, swivel head and a few pads were only $5!

I am new to this channel and I am not a pro. I have a difficult affective disorder and I discovered to my surprise that cleaning is very therapeutic and meditative so now I really enjoy doing it. I am in no hurry so I have the luxury of spending time on the task which aids mindfulness. I do not have OCD, germophopia and I am not really a perfectionist but baseboards have always been my pet peeve and obviously most people ignore them even while keeping the floors spotless. I have four big dogs so a perfect showroom home is not really possible at all times, but I love learning from pros and this channel offers me interesting glimpses to the actual vocation. Thanks!
“The hallmark of a good housekeeper are clean baseboards.” So glad you said that. I interviewed two highly recommended ones last year when our business was extra busy (yes, during COVID). They looked at me like I had two heads and had highly insulted them when I asked them to figure doing baseboards twice per month in their fee. I decided to hire no one because of it. That being said, I’m now playing catch-up in my own home, while also trying to live in it during remodeling. It’s a tad overwhelming!
Amy, I’ve been cleaning houses for 15 years…. your baseboards should be dusted every clean, now if you want them wet washed or a magic eraser used on them, that’d be on a deep clean. I know, I’ve been extra busy since covid as well and I’m still playing catch-up as well 😩, after 60-70 hours cleaning others homes and offices, I’m too tired to clean my own 😂
I paid for bi-weekly professionals [then monthly] house cleaning fo my now 89 year old mom. The mom-n-pop service did the baseboards for her initial deep cleaning. They were thorough! Her home was sparkling. Last7 years they did maintenance - while still being detailed. W/ current health situation, I cancelled her service, but Mom loved, loved her service.Thank you, housekeeping people for your work. I appreciate you
I’ve been a house cleaner for 30 years and I made a belt that I wear with two short swiffers and two extendable swiffers, one of each on each hip. They have ball and socket “holsters”. I never lose them and they’re always within reach 😊
3/16/22....You remind me of my Mother. "If you do it, do it ONCE + do it RIGHT!" As a little girl my JOB was to run thru the house...clean every baseboard...then our maid/cleaner/ironing lady would come in & mop or vacuum behind me. I thought it was a GAME + she baked 🍪 before she left! GOD BLESS my Mother for all she did for me + taught me...➕️ GOD BLESS Ellie Mae for all she did for our family + her big heart ❤️!
My stepdad passed 5 years ago. I now live with/take care of my 85yr old mom. I'm a little OCD I guess & thought I kept a very clean & organized house. My sister in-law came for a month long visit & told me I did a good job "for a guy". I love your vids., thanks for the help.
Little tip I learned several years ago, after cleaning your baseboards really good, rub a dryer sheet on all of them and they will repel dust and dirt for several months making them incredibly easy to clean even if you have pets.
Jolene I don't even own a tumble dryer but this tip sounds so good I'm going to buy those sheets just to use on my skirting/base boards! I have severe mobility issues now that I'm older and they are the cleaning task I find hardest of all. I do have pets but I love them and need them for company and security as I am isolated and live alone. Thank you for sharing this tip. God bless you from Vera in Northern Ireland
@@veemcg3682 Same with me. Isolated and alone. My dogs are pretty much my only company so I'm not going to let dog hair get me down. I clean when I have the energy but not often enough. I love a clean house and used to be on it all the time but now the only time I clean is if someone is expected. The only thing I am always about is the bath and kitchen. I recall my grandmother saying those were definitely the most important rooms in need of daily care. The rest can be on hold till I can see dog hair taking over! BTW, my gramz was from Ireland. Family name: Mayo.
Cleaned all the base boards with Krud Kutter and it was game changer during a deep clean. I used in on the shower walls and everything else. This tip was amazing.
I have always dreaded cleaning the baseboards as they are difficult to reach and a mess. But, now that I know I should do this every time I vacuum or sweep makes sense. I think I’ll be able to keep this up once I do a deep clean to bring them up to snuff.
I am manic about my baseboards. I am famous in my family for scrubbing the paint/stain off my baseboards. P. S. My mama always said you know a clean house by the top of the refrigerator and the baseboards. Great info.
Thank you. My grandmother passed away this year and I inherited her home. She was a VERY heavy smoker and the scent of stale cigarettes is everywhere and it's driving me INSANE. I am so grateful that you mentioned this product to help me get that smell out of here and I can't wait to try it!!!
I use what is now called scrubing bubbles, used to be Dow. Home brand available at dollar tree, just as good. I used to wash smoke walls, pulls smoke out. I we t over a second time as sort of of rinse. It kind of pulls stuff out. Helps stop mold, mildew, use in tube daily, no need to rinse, wipe with damp towel. Helps stop mildew. .
My baseboards are part of my top to bottom, left to right. Once they have been deep cleaned a maintenance clean is a breeze. Norwex Envirowand is my duster for high and low areas.
Thank you Angela, baseboards can sure get funky when ignored! I so appreciate your tips! I love your enthusiasm too, it makes me want to clean immediately!
I needed this reminder to stop cutting corners re skirting boards, they show up a lot of dust because they are white, near the floor and the ceiling lights shine down on them, thank you for shining a light on this detail
Many of us tend to ignore the baseboards and before we notice the dirt piles up on them. Thanks for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
Once the baseboards are clean they are easy to maintain. And the frequency depends on the foot traffic and pets in the home. If they don't need cleaning as often - woohoo!
Wow! Finally a North American video where I can obtain the products here in Oz. Some are the same brands and some are not but identical in function, and you have me the information I needed to track them down! Thank you. A BIG thumbs up from me.
Thanks for the video. What grabbed me is early on you mentioned what if you have a bad back or bad knees and can't bend over. That made me hit the subscribe button. I'm 60 and have issues w auto-immune which makes bending, squatting a mighty painful affair. Thanks so much.
Thanks for joining me. My philosophy is to work smart not hard. And I'm always looking for the easiest, quickest way to get stuff clean. Thanks for stopping by! :-)
Angela, I just love your channel! You are so spot on all the time! I had home/commercial cleaning business for 10 years. Absolutely, clean baseboards tell the story! Thanks for all your help in cleaning!!!
I love it! All those household chores we complained about when we were kids ended up benefitting us in the long run! If only we could tell kids now they will appreciate their chores in the future, lol! I enjoy reading these great comments. 🤗
I loved cleaning baseboards and trim when I was a kid and old enough to do it. We lived on a ranch and... the hunting dogs were allowed in the house AND there were 6 kids. We had a live-in "mother's helper" but even she couldn't keep up with the mess we could make. So OK, when it was time, Mother filled a bucket with soapy water, poured in a BIG dose of ammonia, dropped in the sponge and handed me the old towels. .... watching the dirt and grime disappear was...FUN! I felt so powerful.
Hi Angela! You’re awesome and I’ve learned a lot from you which helps me in my business, so, thank you! My mom always said, if the baseboards are dirty the whole house looks dirty! You’re absolutely right about frequency! Cleaning is a daily endeavor but made easier by keeping it clean which it’s always easier to maintain something rather than spend hours scrubbing etc. Baseboards can get filthy unless cleaned at least biweekly.
Just found your video today and I ran to Home Depot for the Krud Cutter! OMG!!!! I love this stuff! My baseboards haven't looked this good since we moved into the house over 7 years ago. Thanks so much for your cleaning tips.
Take a bucket with cleaning solution (any type) as if to mop but instead use a broom. You do not have to bend down and it scrubs it right off. I bought one of those all plastic brooms that I keep stored away to use for baseboards only.
I swear by the swiffer and the magic easer. Use the extended stick if you can’t bend down. Also, using a dryer sheet right after keeps them clean longer.
When I was younger, my grandmother told me it was important to clean the baseboards and lamp shades & I thought she was out of her mind. I’d never once seen dirty baseboards or lamp shades in her house or mine, & I’d never seen them at friends’ houses, either! Then I become an adult and baseboards and lampshades are the bane of my existence. Especially with dogs. I never noticed dirty baseboards because someone was cleaning them the whole time! Thanks for the tips. I have a bad back & several autoimmune disorders, so I need all the tricks I can get!
Your grandmother was right! I’ve said before, the hallmark of a good house cleaner are clean baseboards. Thanks so much for watching the show and leaving a comment. Wishing you all the best. 😊
Here's a tip for all of you who do not have the ability to bend still... a pair of old socks, dampen if you want to ... daily put the sock on, run your foot along the base board. Dirt and fluff removed easily. If you do it regularly it means you don't have to get down and scrub as in the video and you with frail backs will be spared the pain you will suffer if you do it as above... After you have cleaned the area you have chosen for the day, throw the socks into the washing machine and wash as per normal. I usually do a room a day.. 5 minutes, no stress, no sore back and certainly no carrying on about how it has to be done a certain way. I have never had anything but praise about how spotless my home is from real estate agents who come to inspect it...
My Momma tricked me into using my play mop to dust the baseboards. Once I was in school, she continued to use that play mop. Saved her back. (This was back in the day when a cannister vacuum was extremely cumbersome.)
You are terrific! Such excitement for cleaning, you make me want to get down and dirty with my baseboards!! (almost). Im trying not to use so many chemicals in the house anymore. You offer a bunch of different options, thank you. I tell my daughter that if she wants to clean natural (chemical free) she has to do it more often, bottom line. One cannot allow dirt and grime to build up.
I vacuum daily because of dog hair, I have one fur baby but clean my baseboards biweekly. I use a dust mop to dust them off and then I use a mop with Dawn dish soap in a bucket to clean them...this saves my bad knees. I love your channel and have used many of your tips.... Thank you!
Mine are easy to clean. I either use my vacuum, or a Swiffer, or my hand vac It's no big deal...unless you never or rarely do it. Don't let it build up.
I do these things and agree they are great but I’ve got a couple problem areas that are forever having me on my knees... better solutions for these would be great: 1. Inward corners (especially the ones around door jams) these are forever collecting a mix of pollen/dust/hair/dirt... sickly & hard to keep clean. 2. Dog/cat hair... it’s always getting stuck between the baseboard and hard floor, creating tufts/clumps of hair in random gaps. I’ve only ever been able to get them out by using tweezers... I think the vacuum pushes them into these spots.
@@x0thorn0x i spray bleach & water in there after turning it to stream mode on the spray bottle...& watch all the crap come out! Then wipe. I also have tile so i can do that. Idk if you have carpet or what but if so just put a towel under...or even just water. What you really need is the pressure
Thank you for your kind words! Enthusiasm for cleaning can come and go, and it's okay if it's not something you enjoy all the time. I'm glad to hear that you still find the tips and recommendations helpful, and I'm here to support you in any way I can.
If you need to do some heavy duty dusting that the swiffer duster won't pickup, try using a cheap, unused paint brush also known as a "chip brush" from the dollar store. It's great to get into the nooks and crannies of vents, window sills and trim corners.
My mother taught me to clean the baseboards before vacuuming! She would be proud of you too! Thank you for your YT Channel it's refreshing to see someone teaching how to clean! My grandmother taught my mom how to wash floors the correctway...when corners are washed, a pointed knife will clean the corners to make a floor sparkle! I've always noticed others homes with "Built Up" black Dirt packed in the corners! I was taught washing the floor on my knees! Blessings!
I vacuum every day, I have a few things I do daily, but I usually focus specifically on a section of the house each day and that is when I clean the baseboards. Typically I use the attachment on my vacuum or the mop as I go (🙈) haha. That microfiber thing you used at the end is amazing and would save my back! Looks much quicker too. I prefer anything that is more efficient and can cut my time down. Going to give that a try!!
It sounds like you do a great job keeping things tidy around the house. I love my microfiber towels. Here are the ones I like to use: www.amazon.com/dp/B07GX7GLGQ?ref=exp_angelabrown_dp_vv_d They work great for me 😊
I didn't know that I needed you in my LIFE! 🤣 Clean my VISIBLE baseboards as needed - clean ALL THE WAY AROUND twice a year. I use windex to clean. I can't wait to see what else you have in your archives! 😊 Hope to find a simpler way to clean window blinds....!😬
Glad to see this. I have 3 fractured discs in my back & i’m 70! Will have to try this. Haven’t cleaned mine in a year! Plus I have bad knees on top of it.
Whenever I redo floors in my house, I replace the annoying baseboard with all those indentations with a nice smooth one - so much easier to clean and looks better.
Excellent video! I wish every housekeeper would watch this. I've had several tell me they don't do baseboards. That service is only with a deep clean. Of course I disagree.
One cleaner to another, always dust High area 1st then low. Start at the cieling and work your way down. The Swiffer can come with a extention wand up to 7 feet, No need to bend over. We also use a rolling tile dolly ( when we need to use the magic eraser) saving our back. Also if the base boards are flat without many grooves or to grimy we use a damp flat mop that we can also wash the wall's with at the same time.
Love this video. Common sense which a lot doesn’t have that call themselves “House cleaners”. The easy tips is/was very much appreciated!! Made cleaning so much easier & much more enjoyable! 💕💕💕👍👍👍
Oh wow, that is so nice of you to say. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and support and for spending a few minutes of your day here with me. I appreciate you. :-)
I'm definitely not a clean freak but dirty or dingy baseboards make me crazy. Thanks to you, my bad back will never be responsible for baseboard nuttiness again!
Here’s a tip: I buy a duster with an extendable hand and just walk around the corners of my house every week or so to keep them clean. You don’t have to bend so it’s easy and takes two seconds :)
I take a room at a time, put on knee pads (pink ones from Walmart), mix up a small bucket (1 gallon size from Lowe's), of Mr. Clean and water with a microfiber cloth and away I go. The hard part is moving the furniture out and then back. That is much more taxing than the actual cleaning. I use knee pads because my knee hurt easily. ;-). I usually do one room per day. I don't make it a big chore by doing a whole house. Take your time. It will be there tomorrow.
I use a long handle swiffer for baseboards, or i take the floor attachment off of my vacuum and run the wand over it softly. Love your tips!! Been doing private housekeeping for over 40 years and STILL love it!
The hallmark to my clean house is that it smells fresh and there are no cobwebs. I choose a couple of sections daily (what bothers me the most) and work there for only 30 minutes. That’s it. Baseboards? With all the heavy furniture that’s against the walls, they wait until I move to get cleaned. The parts that are visible might get a cleaning every three months with a damp towel. Works great each time.

Thanks so much for sharing how you used to clean baseboards when you were a child. 👍
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your story! Glad to be helpful!
I just moved into a new apartment, I will be using your vids to keep my space clean, I love to learn how to clean smarter and better! Thank you 😊
Congratulations on your new place. I'm so excited for you. Thanks also for watching the show. 👏👏👏
I’m old school and old. Can’t do the work as I used to. This was an inspiring video. Thank you
Old is better than not alive! Hang in there!
Thank you for watching the video.
This is far most the only right to the point cleaning videos I will ever watch why because I learn so much. Thx again 😊
Thanks for watching and for taking the time to drop me a line. :-)
“The hallmark of a good housekeeper are clean baseboards.”
So glad you said that.
Remodeling is definitley overwhelming and the clean up is not easy. Take it one day at a time...you got this!
Amy, I’ve been cleaning houses for 15 years…. your baseboards should be dusted every clean, now if you want them wet washed or a magic eraser used on them, that’d be on a deep clean. I know, I’ve been extra busy since covid as well and I’m still playing catch-up as well 😩, after 60-70 hours cleaning others homes and offices, I’m too tired to clean my own 😂
My two peeves are clean baseboards and no cobwebs in upper corners. Cobweb dust every time.
The hallmark *is* .....
I appreciate you
What a lovely thing to say. I'm so thrilled to hear a great story. Thanks for sharing, and God Bless your Mom. :-)
Wish you could send them to my house!
@@grandmajane2593 Awww-that’s sweet. 🙂🙂
I am a professional housekeeper and she is correct.
Thanks for taking the time to comment Jacqueline, I appreciate it!
I just moved into a new home, it has more baseboards than I have ever witnessed in my life. Thank you for this video 💙
You're welcome! Thanks for sharing your feedback and thank you for watching the video.🙂
I’ve been a house cleaner for 30 years and I made a belt that I wear with two short swiffers and two extendable swiffers, one of each on each hip. They have ball and socket “holsters”. I never lose them and they’re always within reach 😊
I would love to see this. It sounds like a great system, always on hand.
It’s probably weird… but you make me feel powerful! I always thought I couldn’t clean but you make it make sense!
Not weird at all. You are indeed powerful, you are talented and you are smart. Go get em!
Dear Angela, the greatest secret of your cleaning success is your love for your job and your costumes, you are an inspiration to me👍💕
I also like the swiffer duster for ceiling fans. Great for ceiling fans AND my baseboards!
Yes they are! Thanks for sharing your input, I appreciate it!
3/16/22....You remind me of my Mother.
"If you do it, do it ONCE + do it RIGHT!"
As a little girl my JOB was to run thru the house...clean every baseboard...then our maid/cleaner/ironing lady would come in & mop or vacuum behind me.
I thought it was a GAME + she baked 🍪 before she left!
GOD BLESS my Mother for all she did for me + taught me...➕️ GOD BLESS Ellie Mae for all she did for our family + her big heart ❤️!
Aww...thanks you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story! Your mom sounds amazing!
My stepdad passed 5 years ago. I now live with/take care of my 85yr old mom. I'm a little OCD I guess & thought I kept a very clean & organized house. My sister in-law came for a month long visit & told me I did a good job "for a guy". I love your vids., thanks for the help.
Kudos to you for taking care of your mom and keeping a clean home, you are a great son!
I just adore your presentation and style and knowledge and everything!! My baseboards are so dirty and here goes…🎉🎉
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your feedback! Woohoo....those baseboards better watch out! You got this!
I appreciate the way you speak and give different options to handle the task. Off to cleaning the baseboards 😌
Thanks for watching and taking the time to reach out. Let me know which method you use. I'm eager to hear your results.
Thank you! I'm obsessed with my baseboards because they get so dirty. I used to use 409 but it's so strong. I'm going to get the Krud Kutter!
You're welcome! And thank you for watching the video. 🙂
Little tip I learned several years ago, after cleaning your baseboards really good, rub a dryer sheet on all of them and they will repel dust and dirt for several months making them incredibly easy to clean even if you have pets.
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Great tip! This is great news. Thanks for sharing. :-)
I have always dreaded cleaning the baseboards as they are difficult to reach and a mess. But, now that I know I should do this every time I vacuum or sweep makes sense. I think I’ll be able to keep this up once I do a deep clean to bring them up to snuff.
You can do it! Thanks for watching!
I am manic about my baseboards. I am famous in my family for scrubbing the paint/stain off my baseboards. P. S. My mama always said you know a clean house by the top of the refrigerator and the baseboards. Great info.
You have a smart momma!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you. My grandmother passed away this year and I inherited her home. She was a VERY heavy smoker and the scent of stale cigarettes is everywhere and it's driving me INSANE. I am so grateful that you mentioned this product to help me get that smell out of here and I can't wait to try it!!!
So sorry for your loss. Give it a try and I hope it works great for you.
Nice. And great tips. Thanks for sharing. :-)
Thank you Angela, baseboards can sure get funky when ignored! I so appreciate your tips! I love your enthusiasm too, it makes me want to clean immediately!
Hooray! I've done my job then. Cleaning can be really fun - (with the keyword here being "can." ROFL) 😜
We have a cleaning company and this lady is absolutely brilliant. 💯
Wow, thank you!
I recently started cleaning houses as a side kick and your videos are very helpful. You take cleaning to the next level, love it!
That is awesome! Thank you for your kind comment! Wishing you lots of continued success!!
Why didn't I think of these!!? Love how easy they are. Gotta go clean my baseboards! Thanks!!
You are so welcome, happy to help! Thanks for watching!
Great tips. Cutters was new to me. A soft bristle broom works well too. And for most homes, once a quarter is enough.
Once the baseboards are clean they are easy to maintain. And the frequency depends on the foot traffic and pets in the home. If they don't need cleaning as often - woohoo!
Thank you for including the people like me who has back problem. I wish you much more success. 💖
Thank you too! Saying prayers for speedy recovery and comfort for your back pain. 🙏
Wow! Finally a North American video where I can obtain the products here in Oz. Some are the same brands and some are not but identical in function, and you have me the information I needed to track them down! Thank you. A BIG thumbs up from me.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. :-)
Thanks for watching and congrats on your long-term career in cleaning. :-)
Never saw a video from this lady before and I had to drop a comment before I go and binge watch some more. Thanks for the informative video!
Thanks for your kind words and WELCOME to the channel. I'm so delighted you spent a few minutes of your day with me. 🙏
Growing up, cleaning the baseboards was part of my chores. I hated it then, but sure do appreciate knowing how and the importance of doing it now.
That was my chore along with washing the walls in the hallway.
Thank you!
Every vacuuming....man....clearly I'm not a housekeeper. I had no idea. So thx
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
This is so helpful. It's good to watch someone who takes these jobs seriously and gives good advice. Thank you!
You're welcome! Thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate it! 🤗
Just found your video today and I ran to Home Depot for the Krud Cutter! OMG!!!! I love this stuff! My baseboards haven't looked this good since we moved into the house over 7 years ago. Thanks so much for your cleaning tips.
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the product, I appreciate it! So glad that your baseboards are looking good!!
Take a bucket with cleaning solution (any type) as if to mop but instead use a broom. You do not have to bend down and it scrubs it right off. I bought one of those all plastic brooms that I keep stored away to use for baseboards only.
That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
I swear by the swiffer and the magic easer. Use the extended stick if you can’t bend down. Also, using a dryer sheet right after keeps them clean longer.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing the dryer sheet tip!
A used dryer sheet or new one?
@@amandapanda4036 new. The layer of fabric softener does something somehow.
@@Tiff-vi9kx thanks!
I, too, love your enthusiasm and treasure your advice. I see this is an older video, but I am just coming across it now. So glad I did, thank you!
Thanks Jennifer for watching and for taking the time to drop me a line. It's great to hear from you. 😍
TY! I've been avoiding this chore for longer than I care to admit 😅
You're welcome! I think many of us avoid this chore...lol. Thank you for watching the video. 🙂
I think you're probably in the majority!
I love that you are thorough and cover every aspect of one subject. You are the best!
Thank you so much for your kind words. Feel free to share the video. Sending hugs. 🤗
How about my foot with my sock while I'm vacuuming?
Got my vote ! 😉👍
Nah, stick your foot in the mop bucket and do it that way. Bam
Whaa??? GENIUS
Babies and small yappy dogs are good to wipe floors and baseboards, just duct tape them to a broomstick
Brilliant! I would have never thought of that!
I just had a visual of you doing this...lol! Thanks for sharing your cleaning hack with us!! Cool easy cleaning tip!
That's hilarious, I'm gonna do it. Meanwhile, use Baseboard Buddy.
So true this should be done every time someone cleans - it's so noticeable if left undone.
I agree!! Thanks for your feedback!!😎😎😎
My Momma tricked me into using my play mop to dust the baseboards. Once I was in school, she continued to use that play mop. Saved her back. (This was back in the day when a cannister vacuum was extremely cumbersome.)
I love your mom's creativity. Go Mom! LOL.
Thank you!
What a great idea about a dust mop. I love this option. Thanks for sharing it and for your kind words. I appreciate you. 💛
Good old fashioned dust mop just like mom and grandmom did 🙋♀️
Mine are easy to clean. I either use my vacuum, or a Swiffer, or my hand vac It's no big deal...unless you never or rarely do it. Don't let it build up.
@@AskAngelaBrown Absolutely ! :)
I do these things and agree they are great but I’ve got a couple problem areas that are forever having me on my knees... better solutions for these would be great:
The hardest spots for me are behind tables, meaning when you have to move furniture. Otherwise yes it's quite easy.
Yup my vac hose works perfect
@@x0thorn0x i spray bleach & water in there after turning it to stream mode on the spray bottle...& watch all the crap come out! Then wipe. I also have tile so i can do that. Idk if you have carpet or what but if so just put a towel under...or even just water. What you really need is the pressure
I wish I had your enthusiasm for cleaning. I do appreciate your tips and recommendations. Thank you!
Thanks for the tip! Yes, paint brushes are awesome for small dusting jobs and make up brushes for fine trinkets. I appreciate you sharing this. :-)
Blessings!
Your grandmother and mom taught you well! Kudos to them for passing along their cleaning skills.🙌😊
So true Angela,so true. From one professional house cleaner to another.
Thanks and congratulations on your business. :-)
Here are the ones I like to use: www.amazon.com/dp/B07GX7GLGQ?ref=exp_angelabrown_dp_vv_d
They work great for me 😊
@@AskAngelaBrown hi! These are currently unavailable. Is there another recommendation on others you use?
I didn't know that I needed you in my LIFE! 🤣 Clean my VISIBLE baseboards as needed - clean ALL THE WAY AROUND twice a year. I use windex to clean. I can't wait to see what else you have in your archives! 😊 Hope to find a simpler way to clean window blinds....!😬
Glad I could help! An d welcome to the channel. Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
Glad to see this. I have 3 fractured discs in my back & i’m 70! Will have to try this. Haven’t cleaned mine in a year! Plus I have bad knees on top of it.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this. I do hope you feel better soon.
I never thought mine were dirty....now since watching I find my baseboards disgusting.
Mine too! lol
Hahaha!
You'll be amazed at how clean the whole room looks when your baseboards are clean. Huge difference!
Whenever I redo floors in my house, I replace the annoying baseboard with all those indentations with a nice smooth one - so much easier to clean and looks better.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing this. Cleaning (and the maintenance of items in your home) do inform your renovation choices. I know it has for me.
Excellent video! I wish every housekeeper would watch this. I've had several tell me they don't do baseboards. That service is only with a deep clean. Of course I disagree.
Thank you for sharing your input and thanks for watching. 🙂
You can get the long handle for the Swiffer duster and use that for baseboards and ceiling fans. I clean my baseboards when I dust.
Great tip...thanks for sharing!
You are so smart. Thanks for sharing these tips. :-)
Krud Kutter is now one of my favourite chemicals. Its so versatile! I love the brush method, which works great for balcony edges too.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your use of the product, I appreciate it!
Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for the feedback.
Started using swiffer 360 duster as per your recommendation...I use it when I am done vacuuming..this way never gets thick and gunky...thks Angela.
That's great! Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it!🙂
This was helpful for white baseboards. Great videos! You really help me.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it!
This lady is good.
😂
Yes She IS!😊
Never thought about the attachment that comes with the vacuum. thanks Angela!
You are so welcome, happy to help!
Here’s a tip: I buy a duster with an extendable hand and just walk around the corners of my house every week or so to keep them clean. You don’t have to bend so it’s easy and takes two seconds :)
Extendable hands are great. Thanks for sharing!
oh, i always just use one of those 5 foot long dusters unless its grungy. haha
Thanks so much for sharing this. I appreciate you! 😊
I use a long handle swiffer for baseboards, or i take the floor attachment off of my vacuum and run the wand over it softly.
Love your tips!!
Been doing private housekeeping for over 40 years and STILL love it!
You are awesome! Thanks for sharing! Wishing you lots of continued success!

I'm so glad you found us! You got this!
Once a week. Regular cleaning and keeping your house tidy makes everything easier.
Definitely!! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment.
Me too, I can't even see my baseboards and I certainly can't move the furniture.
