Thank you for the tricks, hacks and product recommendations. I already have the Weiman's stainless steel cleaner. I have a porcelain sink but Bar keepers Friend (liquid) is the best product on the market for cleaning stainless steel sinks and other metals. I am going to buy the products you recommended. I have a few hacks too. I swear by the squeegee I have one for the kitchen counter tops and the sink. I also have one for the shower of course which keeps it spotless at all times. I never have to scrub my shower. I also buy an extra rubber kitchen sink gasket like the one that was so gross and mucked up in your sink. I take mine out often and scrub it clean and then run it through the dishwasher to sterilize it. So mine doesn't get really gross. Having two just makes it easier. I also clean my garbage disposal every night, by running it with dawn liquid. If it still doesn't sparkle I use a long electric scrub brush. Afterwards I rinse it off and put it in the dishwasher.

Not every garbage disposal has the rubber gasket that is removable. I own a cleaning business, and it irritates me. I love that mine is removable. I just found your channel. I use many of the products and learned so much. Most channels on youtube have no clue about real cleaning. The Dawn degreaser is sold at Lowe's here where I live. I also use it on my outside windows. This is GREAT!! 👏BRAVO👏👏Thank you for sharing! For those maybe sensitive to chemicals, another great product to degrease is castile soap. So now I use it when washing my dishes to remove the grease from pots, pans, and dishes as well as removing any greasy splatter on my stovetop.👍

Thank you Rene. I am almost 78 years old and had no idea about most of these products. My dad raised my brother and me so I sort of learned how to clean on my own. I learned so much today. I love all of your videos.
I use distilled water in my Keurig, my Ninja tea kettle, & CPAP machine. No descaling required. I also use distilled water when making homemade DIY cleaners. I make my own distilled water - purchased a distilled water machine on Amazon. I have a timer set on it to stop before it runs dry, so I don't have to scrub to clean the gunky minerals out. Occasionally, I use citric acid & hot distilled water to clean the distilled water machine. 😊
@debbieduggan6796 do you mean you use distilled water to make your coffee? If you do, that's considered "hungry water" because of the science of water...water that's had the minerals removed will bond with the minerals in you and take them away from you..calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, etc. Idk how.much you drink or how much one needs to drink of distilled water before it's problematic, but you'll want to explore that and make sure you don't end up with problems doctors can't figure out. If ya know what I mean
@@debbieduggan6796 We’ve been using distilled water from our distiller machine for many years for making coffee and tea with no mineral deficiencies. We take vitamins and mineral supplements. We feel a lot safer knowing our drinking water is clean without chemicals and added fluoride. Don’t let ignorant comments dissuade you from using distilled water 💦
Great video! The best cleaner I have ever used to clean my stainless steel coffee carafe is about 1/2 cup baking soda then pour in boiling water that has coming to a rolling boil. Let it sit 20-30 min. It is amazing the baked on coffee that comes out.
Great video. I just ordered almost everything you showed. I had the SOS pads in my cart but within 5 minutes they were sold out! Thanks for sharing such useful items. I'm also a Paducah resident and am so proud of how you represent our town.

Hello Renee, I too love to clean my house. And yes, the kitchen sink is a mess to clean. You know what I use good old comet I’m telling you it brings the sink to a beautiful shine and no it does not scratch your stainless steel sink. It disinfected it also.😊
Thank you for the tips! I enjoyed the information you’ve shared. I have a tip….when I wipe my baseboards, I use knee pads… I’m purchasing the grooved sponges! Have a great day!
It is important to cover the opening of the garbage disposal as much as possible every time you run it. If not, there is a massive amount of bacteria that is being sprayed around your kitchen, ( same for toilets) you can’t see it, but trust me it’s there. I use a plastic lid, top or something like that, and slide it over, just so that the water can go in, but for the most part it’s covered.
Finny thing about that duster with the grooves you mentioned: growing up, we had a mop with that exact kind of head. As a kid i liked how it felt...😂 it was different than other sponges. This was maybe around the mid 90s.
This cleaning video is outstanding! I love the energy and commitment that you bring to house cleaning and your passion to share your experience with others!
I'm so glad you've linked all those! I'm certainly going to do some shopping. One of the big advantages of being a vegan is that we don't tend to eat a lot of fried foods (and never meat), so we seldom have grease around our stove, but our stove top certainly gets icky and I will try the Dawn degreaser on it anyway.
You’ll be surprised how well it works! A little goes a long way....and wear gloves! It leaves an icky feeling on my fingers and is hard to get off. If you get it on your cabinets, make sure to clean off with a wet rag afterwards.
We in India mostly don't have similar systems in most of the homes but i love ur dedication to detail, the research and how clearly you put the methods out. ❤
I have never heard of the Dawn degreaser or the Coating Spray and Sealant so I will have to check those out. The Coating Spray might be great for the fronts of my appliances but I might worry a little about spraying my sink. I wash all kinds of food in my sink and our bodies are already full of plastic and I wouldn't want to add more.
great video, thank you. I live in a white trash trailer park/ghetto/barrio apartment complex and too afraid to do this type of cleaning. still debris in the bottom of dishwasher from previous tenant. hand wash everything and dry. Clorox wipe counters and sink daily.
We have just a regular, old-fashioned coffee maker, so to make a pot of coffee, and we just run half water & half vinegar through it a couple times, then run 2/3 times water through it after; it works like a charm. On the insert of my Philips coffee maker it even said to do that! I mean, can't be anything wrong with that. We do have a Senseo (this is from Philips, one of those coffee makers with little pads instead of cups) and that is a little more challenging, but vinegar works for just about *anything*, especially the water kettle. You do have to be careful not to fill it to the top (less than half is good) because if you let vinegar/water boil, it's going to bubble over! Just FYI.
You literally just changed my life 😂. THANK YOU! Great delivery, excited about the Active products as they seem to be non or at least less toxic (trying for clean products in the home due to all the toxicity in most chemical cleaners) cleaning option, and just all around incredible! So good I subscribed within the first 2 minutes ❤

That spray for your sink and stainless looks like the car cleaning stuff I use all over the house. A little goes a long way. Nothing fancy, I don’t have more than a few items. I use a rinseless car wash like ONR diluted to the right ratio on my mirrors and sinks, P&S Express diluted or full for anything grimy, and a ceramic protectant spray once or twice a year. It’s so cheap and repels grime. And oh my gosh I love that SprayWay glass cleaner you used, that is the best thing ever and ammonia free so it doesn’t damage window tint and other things. Thank you Rene. I am almost 78 years old and had no idea about most of these products. My dad raised my brother and me so I sort of learned how to clean on my own. I learned so much today. I love all of your videos.
You are so welcome! I’m glad I could help you out.
@debbieduggan6796 I've heard the complete opposite about distilled water.🤔so, the minerals in you, will flush out?
@@JustMe-jc2ft 👍I drank only distilled water for 2 days and my body started going haywire. Please make sure you add minerals back in,people!
@talulatree5297 Yes, the minerals in us will flush out when we drink distilled water.
@@debbieduggan6796
We’ve been using distilled water from our distiller machine for many years for making coffee and tea with no mineral deficiencies.
We take vitamins and mineral supplements.
We feel a lot safer knowing our drinking water is clean without chemicals and added fluoride.
Don’t let ignorant comments dissuade you from using distilled water 💦
A solution to my frustrating battle with two stainless fridges! Thank you! Thank you!!!💕
Thank you! I lost my mother decades ago and I just get so overwhelmed with cleaning.
Great video! The best cleaner I have ever used to clean my stainless steel coffee carafe is about 1/2 cup baking soda then pour in boiling water that has coming to a rolling boil. Let it sit 20-30 min. It is amazing the baked on coffee that comes out.
I have done that for decades, too!
If you can let it sit overnight, even better
Renee, you bring us so many great products. Anything you support I buy and it all works! Thank you so much
Thanks so much!! I love a clean house and these products make it super easy :)
Too many chemicals.
Great video. I just ordered almost everything you showed. I had the SOS pads in my cart but within 5 minutes they were sold out! Thanks for sharing such useful items. I'm also a Paducah resident and am so proud of how you represent our town.
Thanks! I'm so glad you're finding these items helpful. You can find the sos soap pads at any grocery store. I get the generic brand at Walmart. And I love Paducah too! It's a great place to live.
Doesn't it scar up your stainless steel sink
@@gloriatalley5389 me too 🤓
@@WelcomeToMyCurls don’t the steel wool pads scratch the stainless steel?
Hi! New viewer today, I needed some cleaning inspiration! I was doing the dishes while listening and your first tip about the garbage disposal... blew my mind! I'm 40 years old, I NEVER knew those flaps just came out like that! I always get a toothbrush in there and try to clean the under side 😅. Thank you!!!!
Hello Renee, I too love to clean my house. And yes, the kitchen sink is a mess to clean. You know what I use good old comet I’m telling you it brings the sink to a beautiful shine and no it does not scratch your stainless steel sink. It disinfected it also.😊
I love the shiny clean look of a stainless steel sink too!
I use scrubbing bubbles
Bar keepers friend is a great product for cleaning your sink too. Good old cleansers over time will eventually wear your surface much faster.
Would love to see an in depth cleaning routine video! You're home is always so clean.
Renee you have such a positive energy. You also have a beautiful (clean) home. Great video thanks
Thank you so much! 💕
@@WelcomeToMyCurlswhere is the link for the little scraper thingy? 😄Thanks
This is indeed ol skool cleaning like you're grandma type if cleaning. I've landed some great tips today. Thank you greatly ❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! I never knew you could take out the rubber disposal part😁
Right?! It's a game-changer!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you noticing!
Great video. The dawn degreaser is sold locally at both home depot and Lowe’s. So you might find it there.
The Dawn Professional worked amazingly!
We in India mostly don't have similar systems in most of the homes but i love ur dedication to detail, the research and how clearly you put the methods out. ❤
I use the Sprayway glass cleaner and it is the best that I have ever used. Absolutely no streaks! Have a great weekend!
You are so right! That's the only glass cleaner I use too! It's fantastic.
I need to try it. I always have streaks and it makes me crazy.😂😊
Bought some for the 1st time; hard water in NV and it really cleaned my glass shower doors just now.
@@lisamangum3812 I buy it at Costco and also use it to clean off the brake dust on my car wheels. Works like magic.
great video, thank you. I live in a white trash trailer park/ghetto/barrio apartment complex and too afraid to do this type of cleaning. still debris in the bottom of dishwasher from previous tenant. hand wash everything and dry. Clorox wipe counters and sink daily.
Your house looks super clean 👌
Your home is so beautiful, welcoming and wonderfully clean. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Just FYI.
citric acid is even better for calcium deposits
I love how quick and easy you made all this look and your home is sparkling! I will definitely be picking up many of these products.
Great video! I love a clean ( and uncluttered) home too. Thanks for posting. Your home is beautiful. 😊
Thanks so much! I love a clean home too. 🙂
I really appreciate your video I'm frm Mississippi continue to send me more stuff for my house I love a clean house. Have a wonderful blessed day.
You're right. I've never seen any of these products. And I need them! I love this. Thank you so much!
This was fantastic. I plan to get these products and keep my home like new. THANKS!!
This was so informative! I’m so tired of spending so much time cleaning & cleaning. I thank you with all my heart & will purchase all the products you’ve suggested. Yayyyy for you & me. Thank you, thank you❤️
Oxi clean dissolved in the sink with water work for the hood filters too!
Do you know if all of these chemicals are safe? I’ve been reading about the link between VOCs and dementia. A lot of cleaners have VOCs in them.
@@Ginny_Leigh 😮😞wow, about Dementia !
VOC DIDN’T know this ! I Will have to check labels !
@@peggyhavard1546 yes, I’ve been doing a lot of reading about dementia and what might be causing it, how to prevent it, etc. Watching a family member go through it.
@@Ginny_Leigh look into flouride, too. It actually binds to aluminum and pulls it across the blood brain barrier. And they say dementia sufferers had high levels of aluminum in their brains when autopsy is performed.
@@Ginny_Leigh I was a little surprised to see all the chemical products shown here. They’re doubtless effective cleaners but probably aren’t ideal if someone actually needs more natural cleaners. 🤔
I basically have the same kit for car and house.
I agree on just a few cleaners, dont need all the specialized for 1 area type cleaners, what a waste of money

Thank you so much for the lifeproof coating spray. Saves me so much time! I clean every Saturday and it drives me crazy!
Thanks for the tips and inspiration. My mom would have loved these products.😊
Hi Renee, Thank you for the great cleaning hints. It is always a good idea to keep ahead of the cleaning and doing on regular basis. Please give a hug to Maxxie & Pollux🥰🥰
I agree! Staying ahead of cleaning makes a huge difference. The boys were right there with me during my kitchen clean. And of course, they appreciate their clean blankets and beds 🐾
Thanks for sharing your tips, I just received 3 of the products and cannot wait to see the results.
I’m so happy I discovered the Weiman’s stainless steel cleaner! I was amazed when I first tried it. Now I use it on my computer screen and keyboard and even in my car and my leather purse! It’s amazing! I’ve always used SOS steel wool pads on my stove, works great but you have to be careful if you have painted emblems or brand names with that, now you sold me on a few other items!
Thanks for all your tips!! I’ll definitely use your products you showed! New subscriber from Ohio!
I so happy to find your channel. So many things I learned! Thank you!
I’m retired so I clean my kitchen and bleach it down every day. But, you can’t open a cabinet in my house because something will fall out and you’ll be killed. My cabinets are awful.
Seems you need to clear out and organize the inside of your cabinets. That could be the perfect weekend project on a cold winter day.
@salliwallace7962 bahaha thats funny...
Hi your filters on your exhaust clean up great if you do them in your dishwasher hi from Australia👍😄

You're Awesome ! The product you've shown I've never seen before. Thanks for listing them because I live in Canada I checked to see if I could get them here too and "Yes" thank goodness I can get them here too. One really great product I found for stainless steel and multiple other cleaning jobs. It's called Barkeepers Friend". I don't know if it works any better than what you've shown but I'm going to try it out. That sealant for after cleaning the kitchen sink is going to be a huge time saver for me because I hate a dirty sink and I scrub my sink daily. I love that you get to the point and show how to use the products. I've subscribed.
I just found you. Loved today's video and put a whole bunch of those products in my Amazon cart. We've just added sliding glass doors to our dining room so my house is in disarray, but your hacks and tips will definitely help me put my home back together. Thanks for sharing!

Tammie.....the degreaser is the best thing ever!! I discovered it a few years ago (before I learned how to shop online) and spent an entire afternoon driving around Paducah looking for this stuff. It's impossible to find! I went to Wal-mart, Lowes, Home Depot...and finally found it at Menards. Make sure your Lowes has it in stock before making the trip. Typically it's on their website but not in store. However you can get it....you'll love it! **wear gloves when using**

Don’t be too hard on yourself. The gasket in my insinkerator garbage disposal is not removable, nor was the one in my previous house. Maybe removability is standard now. I bought a toilet brush dedicated to cleaning the disposal. I squirt a bit of Dawn dish detergent around the handle end of the bristles and scrub the underside of the gasket as well as the disposal.
