I can confirm that as of August 10th, 2022 that the door glitch to attain this ring still works on xbox one. It's possible to grab the bow and ring quite early. I glitched through the right side and jumped up through the floor almost falling through the game.

Very useful. Thanks for this. I tried to do the barrel glitch for a while but eventually got fed up with it found this guide to get it "legit." Died a few times to the skeletons before I got the timing down but eventually got it.

This is probably old news, but there is a doorglitch with two barrels that makes this a lot easier, so you don't need to run past 80% of the enemies

It has been a while since I made last video, but hopefully DD2 will not do the shame to this one and I might get back (although I am kind of skeptic since dual weapon classes don't exist anymore. I am really hoping they won't remove them or at least I am keeping hope on staff melee+magic)

Nice guide. But it is also an easy way to do it. Go to to dusk moon tower. Outside of each door grab a barrel and let it out of each door. Grab another barrel and jump in front of the the barrel at the door. And voila glitched inside the doors

Didnt know I needed Liquid Vim until I was already waist deep into it. Had to run back to the Duskmoon Tower merchant and get 1 dried harspud, 1 oak leaf oil, and 5 harspud sauce. Then I had to run all the way back but I managed to get it despite being blasted by a fireball while only wearing leather belts, leather shoes, and novice bracers lol.
autisonm I just made do with the scrags of beast they give you every time you start again xD
If you're able to equip dagger and shield without ruining your build, it makes looting BBI at low lvl a lot easier.

What are othe posible rewards inside those chests that would make it worth while to reset the game?
Pro tip you can glitch through the moonbeam door to the ring by placing a barrel on one on the sides of the door standing in the barrel while holding something and then unequipping your weapon and holding forward and jump while exiting the menu
For reference ddda barrel glitch it also let's you glitch the bbi boss treasure room for unlimited cursed items
what height should your character be in order to glitch through the door?
I forgot to buy the rift stone in the first part. Then I slowly slayed all the mages, slowly. Exit and came back, take the stone climbed down that damn spiral and walked all the way back. Felt good after.
Have you ever run into bug warping out of there without waiting for the ghost of the dead arisen at the top of midnight heliex to say his stuff?

Most of the options in Duskmoon Tower suck balls even for 46. Couldn't the developers put a sword in one? Like seriously.
Ooooh a mantle, how worthless, a ring that affects the Drenched status, even MORE worthless, but no sword.
If you throw your main pawn in the water not meaning rook, can you get them back?

I cant get this to work for me. At around 6:15 in the video where you get to the small bridge you say to wait for the casters to stop casting, but they never do. I spent about 15 minutes dodging but couldnt stop my pawn from getting hit so I threw her off the bridge. Dodged about another 15 minutes and they're still casting so I went ahead anyway. My next problem comes at 6:31. That neck height ledge just before the first sorceror you encounter takes me so long to climb up (my guy is not overweight) that I almost always get blasted. Over the course of 2 hours of attempts I only made it past three times. Then there's the bridges. So narrow, so many holes I just cant keep straight enough at full sprint. Can this be done on easy? If so, would it make a difference? Like the enemy sorcs fireball not one shotting me?
I saw other guides for this ring. Do those ones require the split second timing and dexterity this one does? Im not really concerned about time involved, just the difficulty. I don't have the hand eye co-ordination and speed I used to.
Every video requires dexterity on the bridges. It really pays off if you did take items as I did, those will speed you up. With Vim you won't lose speed on lower stamina and Dreamwing puts you in one lower weight class.
I don't know if you noticed, but there is a reason why I move away on the brisge to reset casters into predictable timings. Sometimes you might need to move all the way to the left chest across the bridge and dodge one spell. This is the reason why I pick that item.
For ledges it is pretty much jumping off at the right time. Jump too soon or too late and you'll climb slower.
It can be hard to get it first time, but later you just do it
Thats one problem though. The casters wouldnt reset no matter how far back I went. I even went all the way across once, to a dead end with some larvae that killed me and the casters still wouldnt stop. It's also expensive to buy those items you used. I had to sell everything I'd picked up just to scrape barely enough together for the vim potion (not enough gold left to buy the other one). Honestly I think my biggest issue is that I am primarily a PC user and find running around with a little thumb stick awkward. It's like trying to use an iPhone in a big emergency when you're an android user or vice versa. I would have got the pc version but I had some gift card money on amazon.ca and they only had the xbox and ps4 versions.
Can I hook up a keyboard and mouse and use those?
As I've shown in few videos. Do not go near the right chest (it is a trap). Go to the left one. Dodge one cast and wait a little. 2nd will never come.

Huh? I show where to get Vim in encampment and explain it respawns every 7 days. You don't need to buy it.
I am also PC user, but I still prefer controller over mouse/kbd for games like this. You just need a little practice with controller and then you realize how flexible it really is. So, no clue on the last one.
Err, not the Vim. The escape stone I meant.
I also tried picking up the sorceror and throwing him off the edge but it costs too much time and lets the garg catch me.

On the last bridge, gargoyle coming after me-fireball hits me, gargoyle misses, left with 8hp. Pauses, realises I’m not dead, picks up void key. Gargoyle coming on another round, zap spell incoming, liftstone teleports just in time.

Items used ; Drawstring nostrum, 4x mushrooms instead of liquid vim. XD (didn’t know I needed vim until I was in, luckily I had mushrooms with me...)
Do I have to do it in hard mode first then do it in normal? Kinda confusing lol
Do it in easy/normal, switch to hard then switch back to easy/normal this will effectively reset your game while letting you keep all your stuff and levels. Think of it like NG+ without the difficulty increase

They spawn from BBI start, they are not limited to post Daimon

After the intial dragon fight ( after the character creation ) if you go to your cousin inn and go into manage items and change equipment there are 3 caps , take them and sell the one wich costs 300.000 , and you ll be fine.

wh1sper 123 I'm about to make that run! Hardest part is getting to Chamber of Sorrow, then dealing with Mr. Stink Eye, before I play the 2% lottery. Then waiting for chest to reset to get another one.
It is much easier in Black Abbey Post Daimon
2% chance eh? Still higher than World of Warcraft and you don't need to complete an entire Raid to do it.

it increases how many disipline point you earn so getting it early makes leveling your classes way faster
What the ring can do ?
DCP*1.5
You learn vocations faster. and next one stacks with this making it DCP*1.5*1.5=DCP*2.25. If you use Blessed flower you boost that effect by additional *2 (but, you should be careful how to use those). Martyrs talisman has same effect as flower, but you need money to buy and lasts 5min (talisman and flower don't stack). Asura armor (end game item) boosts that by another *2

Did you use the moonbeam gem on the wrong door?
Your carried over items will be waiting for you in the item storage, which you can access at the encampment. You can switch difficulties any time and won't lose the items.
