Don’t forget to save before you gather then just quit without saving and reload while you get what you want. Just got the rusted spell bow at 8:36 fourth attempt. If you forgot to save Reynard at the beginning of the game like I did this video is a lifesaver! A quick 2 second switch to map view at each location would have helped less experienced players

Dire Gouge is not worth a skill slot in my personal opinion. From the testing in this video (Time is rounded in decimal form and only correct placement is used): Dire Gouge (Assassin) = 12.3 Secs Thousand Kisses (Assassin) = 11.3 Secs Thousand Kisses + Harness (Assassin) = 9.8 Secs Hundred Kisses (Strider) = 9.7 Secs Hundred Kisses + Preemption (Strider) = 6.5 Secs (Assassin would also benefit here as well theoretically but preemption is actually bugged/doesn't work so I'm not sure what's going on here.) From the testing what can be concluded is: If you're going for max climbing damage or a climbing build, not picking Strider is sub-optimal. However, if going for the Jack-Of-All-Trades ruler, Assassin, then it is still better off using Thousand Kisses. Why? 1. You lose defense options, mobility, and better utility when climbing with a sword, even if your shield is equipped. 2. I don't know why this isn't talked about a lot, but Dire Gouge is iffy. Sometimes, it will attack OUTSIDE of the monsters entire hitbox, doing no damage at all. I experienced this while on the head of an Elder Ogre AND the Ur-Dragon. This can happen in general however, and this made me drop the skill. The extra length of the sword doesn't matter if the sword doesn't even get stabbed into the monster. This can also happen with Kisses, but it doesn't happen as much. Climbing in general is a glitchy mess, and there is no need to make it much worse with Gouge. 3. Base power for Thousand Kisses is about 900 and for Dire Gouge it is about 1,000. That isn't really much of a big difference considering what you are sacrificing while climbing. 4. Dire Gouge does NOT modify how stable you are on a monster when it moves while you are using a skill. (At least it doesn't seem like it.) Neither does Kisses, but Gouge was speculated to have done this but it does not. 5. Because of Dire Gouge's lack of utility, you take up a skill slot when it can be used for another skill that will help with knockdown like Tusk Toss/Blink Strike or a counter like Clairvoyance. Blue Moon Slash is obviously not replaceable, so you really only have two options going for optimal sword as an Assassin. The only reason Dire Gouge would be used, is if you are not going to be using Hundred/Thousand Kisses on Assassin for whatever reason. If you have Thousand Kisses on your dagger, even without Harness, Dire Gouge is a wasted skill slot.

How did you kill enemy in 3.00 when put creature to sleep thanks , so you would level how ever you think I,m strider and panicking

being sorcerer, i had come to be really lazy dealing with death. If he spawns in that courtyard. I just force him teleports into the corridor. and leave him there. You will see his lantern's light rotates around like a lost gps by standing outside in the courtyard.

Thats crazy I never use those Tomes because I thought they were mostly for mages lol. Dam that thing does pretty good damage. Im just confused how you dont take damage when the dragon is spinning like crazy. Its like your character is invisible lol I wouldnt even try that in my playthrough. Im struggling right now where my weapons can barely do any damage in BBi.

Any reason i cant damage him tho ? I use archer mage but when i shoot i only damage the dragon and when hes possesed i cant damage him anymore

What level are you? And are you playing in easy in this level because Im high level and cant even kill those tentacles that fast. This boss fight gave me a migraine yesterday. Plus I suffered my first death in bitterblack isle

Man if only they knew the barrel glitch After killing Daimon the first time, you can literally get unlimited supply of lvl 3 armor lvl 3 weapons and lvl 3 novelties 😢 And few know that if you do it until the in-game day rolls over, you will have officially killed Daimon twice without having to actually fight him again

About to start a similar run myself, trying to get my pawn decked in maxed gear while remaining as low as huma ly possible, ie. Not killing anything except the gazer, cleric and daimon once, then farming the gear from chest drops until my pawn is the flashiest (hoping to not go above) level 20-25 on the market 😄

I started off this game min maxing didn’t even know much about the game do I regret it? Not really I actually enjoyed playing mage 1-10 rest on sorcerer playing it on Hard mode from the beginning and once got to the max level I grinded for better gear just had this feel of satisfaction maxing out the magic even the low stamina doesn’t make that much difference but yes I get your point enjoy the game play how you want it but my OCD doesn’t allow me to 😂
