- Having 2 Rings of Perserverance and the Asura Armor will gain additional Dsicipline points, making ranking vocations take less time.
Keep your per kill experience below 100 exp for optimal results. Less than 200 Experience per kill is also ok, but less than 100 is the best.
For those who don't know. In Bitterblack Isle, the second room after Dark Bishop has a lich that keeps summoning undead. You can ignore the lich and kill the undead until you hit rank 9.
Theres a much easier to get one near bartha crags at night, going right after going out of the encampment.
@@juanisaias8308 correct, get a weal then you get double experience also you gain 86 points without the weal and with it gives 17 extra vocation points. Which is 103 points in vocation points and the lich but is way easier and less powerful, is a wight which summons skeletons, it summons about 10 each time and you will get 1243 experience without and with it 2486 experience per kill, just don't kill the wight.
just go left of the great wall encampment then go north until you find a few sarcophagus, then come back at night and it will be there, just sleep at the great wall encampment, works just fine for me.
I use to go south Gransys and wreak havok among goblins, best place to farm ranking imo, and you can break the hunt by farming some golem or lesser dragon. Not to mention that hearing the goblins screaming in pain and terror is pure gold for my ears.

I use the training ground mission at the start of the game to level discipline at low level. If you leave at least 1 dummy standing and let the timer run out you can repeat the mission as much as you want. You get a good ration of exp to discipline without having to run around looking for enemies. Remember to unequip pawns weapons or they will mess things up for you.

For people unaware on why you’d want to do this, it’s to either play hard mode on a fresh character with helpful augments or to keep your pawn at level -20 with all the OP augments and armor to keep them rented out to people for very long periods of time. None of it is required, it’s just fun to do if you want a new way to play this game.

To ensure you don't level up accidentally in a vocation you don't like it's level up stats.

I just use the 2 discipline rings and hit the gransys soldiers after duke shrivels and u need to run away. for pawn he can do it by himself while u wait on ledge
What if you don't care what vocation you level up on? Is farming low exp enemies still the fastest way to get discipline or is fighting high exp enemies faster?

High exp is faster since discipline points are a % gain from experience. Low enemies have a better ratio but that doesn't necessary mean more dp. Example: enemy with 100 exp and 30% gain = 30 dp. Enemy with 1000 exp and 8% gain = 80 dp. The ratio is more relevant if you don't want to level up. In the video you can see Nihil gaining 96 dp (52% ratio) from the guards in hard mode, and then, when he switched to normal mode, he was gaining 67 dp (73% ratio).
Now, if only min/maxing had any significant impact in your arisen...
Eh, getting rank 9 of certain vocations unlocks very powerful augments. I guess it depends on what you mean by "significant impact".

Resistance (Magick Archer Rank 9)
Are some of the VERY powerful augments you can collect from the various Vocations, almost regardless of what you're trying to play at the time. For example, Mystic Knight really benefits from a lot of those and NONE of them are Mystic Knight vocations. Using a method, like the one in this video, to speed Discipline acquisition can be quite helpful to max vocations you have no intention of playing, purely for the augments.
Now if you mean the stat-gains-per-level. That's a much longer and controversial conversation. I will say, though, that I would consider optimized leveling *significant* but not *required*. If you level a character to be a Magick Archer at level 200, whether you level all ~190 levels as Strider, Sorcerer, Assassin or Magick Archer all have pretty big impacts on your end-game performance. For example, doing all 190 levels as Sorcerer gives you quite a bit more Magic Power. I'd estimate you do about 15-20% more damage. With a p-value of 0.05, that's statistically significant four times over. Granted, your stamina will be AWFUL, which could impact your DPS in long encounters. If you do the 200 levels as a Strider, you'll have over 4000 stamina, but be doing about 15% less damage. It's an easier quality-of-life because you don't need to suck down stamina curatives, but it does come at a steep cost in throughput.
It's an old and heated argument, nevertheless. I think the take-home message is that min/maxing is significant, but not required for a viability. A player that levels a Fighter 1-200 can absolutely main a Sorcerer at level 200, and the 15-20% damage loss is easily made-up-for with Priapts and Synergistic Casting.
You dont have to do this just for some glory of min maxing, you can do it just to get vocations all the way up with less effort and just play and experiment. Its literally up to you, play the game your way.

I just get a mod that gives me the highest stat possible in any vocation, that way i dont have to worry about being a worse mage because i leveled up as warrior. It does make you a little stronger than you normally would be since you would be an assasin with extra stamina, health and defense for example but there are mods to increase difficulty if thats your thing.

im hope they remove this for DD2. I just want to play what i want without feeling like i messed up or and being left out. i know people will say this is only really necessary for hard mode and extreme optimization but i like to take game serious and be the best i can be and know that im not or could be better if i do these things makes me just not want to play. i dont want to play sorcerer but to have a strong mystic knight i have to for half my levels play as sorcerer and the other half as assassin for max sorcery damage and melee. but wait i now have no stamina so maybe 50 levels as ranger. but wait no defense? then 25 as fighter. all that to finally play how i want as a level 200 mystic knight with a game basically all done. again i know people will say i dont have to do this and i dont but seeing how string i can get is so tempting but i dont want to play a game a way i dont want to to play the game how i want to. and on console with no mods or stats tracker just menu hopping to see if im going to level. but again u take the game more serious than i do so its on me just wish i didnt have to do this and wont have to for DD2, but maybe thats a bad thing if people like u enjoy it and a casual like me is trying to influence. idk but a good discussion to have.
You can play this game perfectly fine with worrying about any of this. This game is more about understanding enemies mechanics and weakness. Once you level 200 you can kill anything as long you have good gear and equipment.

I agree. All I garnered from it was to kill things worth less xp so that you aren't wasting level up stats with a wrong vocation. This is basically for min maxing so that your end game can farm 10 seconds faster than someone who just played the game to enjoy it
