    Mine arrived on Friday and it's a game changer for me. I played all weekend :). I also found that the image is so clear with the prescription lenses whereas with my classes it's blurry (same lanses). Also I have no more problem with the sweet spot... so yeah, get it if you wear glasses.

      I really wonder as to why we are all experiencing this. My glasses cost way more than these prescription lenses so it is a shock that the VR lenses are sharper aha

    • @Bevallalom
      @Bevallalom ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Octorious possibly it's because the glasses are slightly off focus as we can't push the headset all the way back whereas with the snap in lenses we can push it back and the vr lenses are at the correct position.

      Anyone without perfect 20/20 vision will benefit for sure. Even if your prescription is ridiculously mild and you'd never normally wear glasses, they would still help as as I said, sight issues are sort of amplified in VR, even if it's just that you are like -0.25.

    Great information. I know I am very mildly short sighted even though I have never had my eyes tested. I would say am about your - 0.50. My Psvr2 is very slightly out of focus, but if I slightly on purpose go cross eyed slightly whilst looking at the Psvr2 screens everything is perfect. I think I will order - 0.50 for both eyes.

    • @Octorious
      @Octorious  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Happy to help! Before ordering any lenses, I HIGHLY recommend you get an eye test and don't go off a guess. If the prescription is wrong, it could make things worse and as they are custom made, there's no full refund policy. I'd definitely recommend getting your eyes checked first, just to be sure of what you do need 😊

    Hey awesome video, I'm gonna check these out. I do have a question for you. When wearing the headset have you notice the comfort of the front headset hurts a little compared to the first vr? My daughter and I have notice wearing the the vr2 headset it started to hurt the forehead.. The older vr was no problem.. Have you ever had this problem?

    • @Octorious
      @Octorious  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much! They are certainly worth considering!
      Personally, I find the PSVR2 much more comfortable than the original headset, BUT I have experienced the issue you've mentioned. On the original VR, I found the positioning better if I had the halo back strap quite far up my head, so when using the VR2 for the first time (my friends and family did this too), I put it on like I would the original VR, with the halo higher on the back of my head than it should be. The front is heavier than the back on the VR2 so this puts more pressure on the forehead and nose; especially when you look up.
      If you put the headset on and put that halo band as far down as it goes, then mess around with the front of the headset to find the sweet spot instead, you should be good. Make sure the halo is never more than halfway up your head or you will experience a lot more pressure on your face than is comfortable.
      If you do end up getting the lenses, remember to use the discount code please as it helps me too! :) Thank you again for watching! :D

    • @007feck
      @007feck ปีที่แล้ว

      I had this problem also, where I tried to wear the VR2 is the same position as I wore vr1, but that’s wrong. The angle of vr1 was flat. But VR 2 needs more of a 35 degree angle, so put the back part *below* the biggest skull bump at the back. The front part is resting much higher on your forehead. There should be zero weight on your nose. Then you can push the eye part in with the button. But again you should have zero weight on your nose. I never have problems since I switched to wearing this way. Hope this helps!

    Ich habe meine Objekteinsätze bei VR Rock gekauft und sie sind super zum spielen, aber sie lösen nicht einfach so einige Schwächen der Spiele. Wenn halt ein bestehendes VR Spiel von der Grafik her eher unscharf ist, dann kann dies auch kein Brilleneinsatz fixen. Da müssen eben die Entwickler ran. Ansonsten sind die Brilleneinsätze topp und kann ich jedem Brillenträger nur empfehlen.
    WICHTIG WICHTIG: Wenn jemand die Augenabstände der VR2 Brille komplett zusammen hat, dann können die Brilleneinsätze leicht auf den Nasenrücken drücken. Weil die Brilleneinsätze führen dazu dass die Linsen ein wenig näher am Auge und somit auch die Ränder näher an der Nase anliegen.

      Yes exactly right. Assuming you order the prescription that best matches the current state of your eyesight, you won't need any contacts, and any sort of blur should be gone. I am short sighted but I don’t need a very strong prescription, but my eyes are worse in low light. I wear contact lens’ through the day at work so when I’m at home the first thing I do is take them out to allow my eyes to recover and breathe. I’ve never used my VR with them in as I don’t really feel the need but then again without trying I wouldn’t know. I only feel the headset is blurry when I’m looking too far left, right, up or down. When I stay roughly centre the image is ok. Do you think these would benefit myself ?

    • @Octorious
      @Octorious  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm kind of exactly the same. I'm a tad short sighted and it's worse with glare on lights in the dark. I only wear glasses when driving in the dark, or if I'm watching some sort of thing on a stage in the dark such as a musical etc. I don't have contacts.
      Anyway, I have personally found these hugely beneficial. You do still have to have your eyes in the sweet spot for that wider field of view of sharpness and the more you look one way with just your eyes, the more blurred it will get. That's just an issue with the lenses of the PSVR2.
      Personally, I never use the VR without these anymore and it sounds like I'm similar in eyesight to you, but that doesn't mean I can guarantee you'll like them. It's your decision :)

    • @Octorious
      @Octorious  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I can get it as close as I want really and I've not experienced that sort of pain at all. That said, I can force myself to experience it if I wear the headset incorrectly, so I feel like this isn't a problem with the Hons lenses or VR Rock lenses, but a problem with how you have the headset on itself. You should have the back band down as far as it goes, then pull the scope in, then tighten it. That back band shouldn't be any more than halfway up the back of the head. Hope this helps!
