Nothing but the truth. People always seem to hate me despite me being kind to them, and now I know why. I came from a war torn country, taught myself english, put myself through college, took care of my parents since highschool, and saved for my car and bought it outright. I always thought people had opportunity in America and couldn't see how anyone would envy such a turbulant path in life. Now I understand it's secret envy. I will refrain from telling people about my past as it will make them resent me more. No one likes to hear a come up story.

Kudos on making it this far despite all the turbulence. You've sailed through rough waters; your life is an inspiration to many!
And don't worry about what some others think. You Do You; that's what really matters. ;)

It’s the way you tell it. People want to be lifted up, not hear a sob story. What are your intentions when telling that story?? People see right through it tbh. However they will hear you out if they consider you a friend.

Honestly I hate this law the most, it’s so tough sometimes. Trying not to be yourself or full potential without hurting the feelings of most of these losers that envy you.

    • @Larry-qz3es

I get that from one person currently where I work who is envy. As the saying goes" The more they dislike you, you must be doing something good and rewarding." Continue to do improve yourself even if you make a mistake, owe up to while being humble.

    • @lucianocastillo694
      @lucianocastillo694 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Nah it’s valid only to people who envy you. You can honestly tell who envies you but those you consider as your equal, (friends, family) I wouldn’t find this point valid, especially for the average person with family and friends around them that has there own thing going for them. Everybody gets jealous sometimes but these equals don’t need to be jealous at you because they have there own goals.
      My most valid point:
When we’re talking socially, you have to think; What are you are saying that makes these people jealous?? Is it something about a personality you have that they don’t?
If you really need them despite this, this is where this law comes in place.
But if you don’t need them , why keep them. Your equals or people without a block in their personality will be the greatest friends to you.
But also you have to know what they don’t have so you don’t go subconsciously bragging about how you have those things. That’s how you create envy in those people.

    Ave illacerti (plural),
I don't usually ask for help, but this one's different. Please, if you know someone who could benefit from watching this video, share it with them, click the like button & leave a feedback. Thank you.
Here's a few thoughts on this one:
    - I was overreacting on purpose, I'm passionate about my opinions.
    - I really did bite my tongue and it hurt, I will survive.
    - Dan Bilzerian might be showing off all of his wealth, but he did ace 510 days of Navy SEAL training.
    - Like Trump he can back himself fincancially & thus disregard cancerous political correctness.
    - This nonsense that "He's living a very shallow life & is deeply unhappy." is bollocks & stems from envy.
    - If you feel envy, fuel your own drive with it. If they can achieve it, so can you. (I don't care how much they inherited.)
    - Mastering social intelligence is absolutely essential, even for introverts.
I hope you enjoy this video as much as it took to finish it. (A looooooot... :))

+illacertus This was really good, I enjoyed this video. Those who stormed Omaha beach did not have a "Save Space". You have a tremendous talent here for teaching. The 48 laws was a very good but complex at times. This breaks down all the steps with a sort of "quick guide". This Channel is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for your time and dedication into this series. Keep up the good work, If not for the money your videos will help out many people. Thanks again!

This is so true. I’ve noticed lately the more I try to get to know and respect myself the more people have given me shitty remarks or try to break my spirit. I try my best to treat everyone with respect and still people find the smallest flaw to pick at. The more you try to get better the more you have to keep your eye out for these people and not let them get in your head. I still do sometimes, but I’m getting better. The sad thing is that I truly want to see others succeed as well, but a lot of people would rather drag you to their level than take a helping hand.

It's not uncommon for me to hear from friends who frequent the gym, eat healthy and dress well that their family says "Are you anorexic?" "You're going to hurt yourself!" "It's bad for you" etc. It's not difficult for them to come up with conclusions similar to this law even if they never heard of the book.

    "I'm a grown man...I don't need a safe space!" 😂😂😂

    • @UnholyRave666
      @UnholyRave666 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

This single phrase destroyed his credibility.
      "Im a gown man..."
A real man doesnt have to point out how grown he is.
And in fact, he wouldnt do it either.
It also violates the essence of several rules,
he likes so much. Its a unreflected blindspot, and its a fatal one.
His safespace is his exactly this-
*The image of his own greatness,
which protects him from real interaction with those things which are dangerous to him.*
Its well known for long time, it was pictures in many ways, but it boils down to one thing:
Narcissism. Hard, inpenetratable shell, every kind of criticism will be considered as envy and jealousy,
to deflect the deeply hidden insecurity, the early childhood deficits, they could never overcome.
      Defense-mechanism: projection.
Listen to his words, how split it is: Losers vs winners, feelings vs logic and so on.
His world is a sharp, hostile place, and according to it, he searches for safety in order and power,
because he don't wanna expose his weakness.
Disregarding this, the rule is not bad. But it requires a understanding of what it is the person who *really* envy you desire - its not your downfall, or your pain, thats just a substitute for what they really want:
Affection, success, hope. They feel reminded of their own problems. You are like a nerve in a rotten tooth for them:
A connection of pain, while they cant do anything about it (lack of determination/ inspiration/ motivation/ knowledge/ ressources and so on). Their pain is honesty, and you should really encourage them to destroy the source of their pain. And if they dont wanna listen, because they cant even stand the pain of self realisation,
and try to deflect their own responsebility, then its the best to leave them simply alone with that.
You will see that well known people which act accordingly to this have only very few really-diehard haters,
the sewer of the human kind if you wanna name it like this. Obviously a group 90% of people will disregard, nomatter what they do.
Dont pamper them, but make clear they can do it(good) if they try to.
Share your happiness. Be humble. Mirror their behavior for them, ask them what it is they wanna archieve with their actions. Eventually they will realise that their actions have 0 positive potential, if not, they will atleast accidentely deconstruct themselves in front of everyone.
      Whatever, i got carried away.

There's a big difference between a safe space and alone time. When you're getting screwed over, you don't have the luxury of leaving that Hell hole without in turn simultaneously screwing yourself. Quitting school for example.
Going home after facing the problem or coming to terms with it is when you get your alone time.
Don't confuse "alone time" for "safe space"
      Alone time> safe space
A "safe space" is leaving that Terrible situation immediately and denying the fact that you have to deal with the problem. You can't just leave it entirely in hopes that it fixes itself. Because it won't

+illacertus amazing fucking video man. This might be my favorite video you have made to date, and I've watched all of them. My favorite part was when you spoke on how many of the laws contradict each other- I loaned the book to a friend and he kept bringing up how the laws would contradict each other and my explanation was the same as yours; everything is situational... timing is everything and if your timing is impeccable you will almost always have the upper hand.
Thank you so much for these videos, hope all is well on your end.

AWESOME CONTENT. VERY INSPIRING TO SEE SUCH A YOUNG MAN REACHING THIS LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE/WISDOM, SUCCESS, ETC. I HAVE NO DOUBTS THAT YOU HAVE JUST STARTED, AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD FOLLOWING YOUR DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUED SUCCESS.
I THINK THAT IT'S ABSOLUTELY ADMIRABLE, DESPITE YOUR BACKGROUND (OR/BUT PROBABLY JUST BECAUSE OF "IT") YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE, REGARDLESS OF AGE AND/OR OTHER SURCOMSTANSIS, ..ARE, AND YOU'RE DOING IT WITH DIGNITY AND GOOD INTENTIONS.
    INSPIRING INDEED.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND FOR SHARING IT WITH US.
WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST, ..AND WITH HUGE RESPECT, KERIM T. 👊✌

Great analysis and an absolute truth - I've felt it on myself, ignoring various signs or not observing whats happening...actually stir it up,even more, "turning up the heat in the room".
Maybe because of my arrogance and ,by surpasses the close ones of that kind ,I didnt pay attention to others, mybe some other things.
However, lesson learned - in this era you have to be careful and cunning, certainly on higher social level in any era...:)

Damn, that probably have been the best 10 minutes for me today. And that because i feel what you are saying. People in these days mostly gonna try to cover their jeolousy, insecuritys or view of your identity as "Amoral, stupid or simply weird".
Or they gonna say that you have changed. Im still so glad to have read this and more Books from him even if my "friends" told me thats amoral and selfish. Most of the time, those who acuse others being fake, are the most self absorbed.
You made through a lot. I can hear that. Keep it up, love your vids [=

IMHO.. In order to achieve "Mastery" you have to stop long enough for the world to catch up and greet you. Funny how taking time in through your senses unlocks the potential to redefine your previous and future perspectives. Undivided attention is merely a basic way to learn, but utilizing divided attention amounts to a learning dynamic very few people understand let alone experience/witness it.

People’s perception is ones reality, and if those same people don’t ask questions or even attempt to seek the deeper meaning of anything small or large, their “reality” will be a very small one
