The most bizarre thing about some bosses is that they’re the ones getting promotions & awards. I’ve known quite a few who were hated but managed to get recognition from the higher ups.

Psycho bosses that can effect your mental well being, work performance, loss of finances, potential housing insecurity is like Stalin. They’re holding your life in their hands & this can cause panic & ptsd. This kind of workplace abuse is common & hard not to take personally when it’s literally effecting your entire personal life. Quitting is the way.

Nah you just let him win that way. You have to give him zero reason to fire/demote you, challenge his ideas/ways he talks to you, then you earn his respect and piss him off.

if you observe manipulative ,narcissistic person and 3 year old child its basicaly the same state of mind, many of mental disorders are just like that, people stay mentally at the age when they experienced trauma, they cant process their emotions, many bosses are like that because they want to compensate this with possessions and power over other people, its really great advice to see them as big kids and dont react to their moods

Preach! If YOU are yelling at ME, that is prima facie personal. Don't make such lame excuses for their behavior(s) and for treating another human being like s***. Shut them down very quickly by setting clear, firm boundaries. Don't have to be an a-hole about it, but don't have to be a doormat either.

Given the way I grew up I consider my skilled in controlling my emotional outward reactivity. With what I say and how I say it. But at the end of the day you still need to address your bosses emotions because they skew their perception of you, and ultimately could mean the difference between being fired or not.

Psychotic bosses are jealous of your unique traits, insecure because of their unfulfilled desires, become angry when a client and team member compliments your empathetic tendencies and good hearted nature, and do whatever necessary to turn others against you in order to justify letting you go.

    Bosses want their ass kissed.
Kiss it, without SEEMING like you are, you win .
Feeling like you're kissing ass, interrupt the boss during what they are doing, and say, "I know you're a Giants fan, how did you like the game?" Your telling them that 'you're asking about something in life." Not seeming like it;, randomly, even if it's planned make it seem like randomly you just so happens you have a Giants logo on your cup, or a Giants Jersey in your car, or a sticker on your car, ect. The phrase is, it just so happens. It just so happens that me and the boss agreed. It just so happens this is the best boss I ever had. It just so happens I'm one of the rare people who like my job

Was there less than two weeks
Asked fir help, big job laying out machine pads.
    Help denied.
So I gave two weeks notice
    he sacked me.
