It is the end result of 2 years of animating all chapters condensed for your viewing pleasure. Surely, you've heard the phrase "Hate the game, not the player." The laws are not rules. They're general principles. They're situational and not instructional. 2. You disagree with the term "laws"? Tell Robert Greene, the author, who disagrees with you. 3. The laws are separate. They're not meant to be harmonious. This is obvious. 4. Law 48 - Sparta won the Peloponnesian war with Athens. I'm speaking of Sparta's collapse / economic defeat. 5. "The book is evil." - Is the book not merely a reflection of what human beings are like? 6. "The book should be banned." You belong to the people who would've burnt books back in the day. 7. Psychopaths / sociopaths do not need to read in order to become what they are. It's their nature. 8. The author's intent, my intent is to speak the truth. Deny it all you want. It's a weak mind that runs from reality. 9. Almost all the laws have a reversal, which I have included in plenty of other videos on my channel. 10. This is but a short summary of the book to make you curious. It's not a substitute. I recommend reading it. 11. This is not advocating bad behavior. This is a dojo teaching self-protection from the very people you condemn. 12. Fools shoot the messenger. It's a damn shame TH-cam comment sections are generally avoided by the intelligent for obvious reasons. Try to understand before you perpetuate outrage culture. I am not an atheist. I am not an agnostic. I do not believe in a man sitting in the cloud, a religion a 5 year old could debunk. I very much like Nassim Nicholas Taleb's and Dr. Jordan B. Peterson's views on the matter, but I've also digested Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins' and Christopher Hitchens work. I love the idea of en-theos, the god within, also referenced a lot by Ralph Waldo Emerson. All of them are intellectuals I respect a lot. All of them speak of virtues, morals and principles, which I live my life by. I love my neighbors and this is how I help them. I invite you to be more open-minded. Careful, when you try to reprimand me without understanding what I'm doing here, because I do not tolerate virtue-signaling hypocrites who take the moral high ground and claim to be superior only to insult the innocent of crimes the hypocrites are committing. People who take a shit on the street, when no one sees them, then proceed to attack their neighbors for spitting in their own bathroom sink. I'd rather you listened carefully, since I am here to learn and teach. Nothing good will come from you holding on to your delusions. *"Nature has made up her mind that what cannot defend itself shall not be defended."* - R. W. As humans, we will always succumb to temptations. It is why it is always important to learn from our history so once we make a mistake, we never make the same mistake again. It infuriates me when I see people who never use their brains and never learn from their actions.

Umh... But according to the quote: if you Are going to do something, and you get afraid, dont be afraid. But according to the quote, you shouldnt do it, if you get afraid.. That contradicts itself
The best defense is an unstoppable offense and the best offense is an inpenetrable defense do not be a piece on the board or even a player be an unseen part of it all and benefit from the chaos
That one is one of my favorite quotes from this video, reminds me of Sun Tzu's art of war "appear weak when you're strong, and appear strong when you're weak"
1. Say less than needed 2. Strike the leader when opressed 3. Stay mysterious 4. Observe people, they might do harm 5. Look strong while weak, look weak while strong 6. Reputation is important 7. Never look better than the master 8. Be honest when expected to be dishonest to your enemies 9. Win arguements through actions, not words 10. Don't offend the wrong person 11. Don't get isolated from others 12. Profit from unpredicability 13. Keep thoughts to self, behave like others 14. Absence can turn into honor
" Beware of those who claim to speak the truth yet are intolerant of criticism for the truth is never offended by examination". - Nicholas Frankos - Greek Philosopher.
That would've been fine in ancient Greece but it doesn't fly now. Appearance>substance. There are a number of ways to pass something that isn't true for truth.
Not influenced, but controlled. There's a difference between those two. Majority of human population are DEFINITELY DID NOT got influenced by these 48 Laws of Power
I worked at a place where people are constantly at each other's throats. Many leave and cant handle the toxicity. It was thanks t this book i mamaged to stay away from these people as much as possible and still keep my job.
What i find most interesting is that many of these laws contradict each other, you cant simply remember to do all of these things all the time but rather choose carefully, consider which tactics best suit the situation and target.
@@iancook9308 you can be unique but not be too open about it. There also needs to be some sort of individuality as person by being true to yourself. Just know how to play your cards right.
This book is a gift to those who were deceived by their fellows and didn't know how they could have seen it coming, much less how to deal with those cunning people. It is a mentor, I feel, and your video is a great help to those who actually wanna remember the book and what it taught them. Good work, Sir. Keep it up 👍🏼
Just remember that these laws are pretty much made for politicians and business people in their cutthroat environments not for talking to your girlfriend lmao
@@samelaaraujo Then the book was simply not meant for you, you're too naive to open yourself up to reality, self-conceived within delusions, the book provides historical events that prove the psychological facts yet you still deny it entirely, you should probably give it a second read with a more open mind

In a nutshell, the most important learning I take from this book and that can be applied to all situations: be mindful that everybody wants to be considered valuable and special. All of us feel insecure. So if you want to get along with people and live free of trouble, watch you words and behaviour, because you might unadvertantly convey you don´t respect or value the person you are talking to. You don´t need to overact this. Just look into the eye, listen, and choose your words.
For the past 5 years, I was totally heartbroken. Running after my ex make me lose my value and focuses. In 2022, I accidentally opened the book of 48 lows of power and discovered that my ex used these lows against me. If I would have read this book long time ago, many bad things happened might not happen. Thanks Lord that I read it now.
The same thing has happened to me. I hope many people learn about this book to be able to defend themselves against the people that use this for destruction.
Totally agreed and I’ve had a personal experience of being accused of having “narcissistic personality disorder” funnily enough by some body who I thought carried those traits but I never expressed my opinion. Even though I’m aware that I have high self esteem and not narcissism the opinion of the individual made me question myself for quite a while and knocked my confidence right down. Through self assessment I’m not back on track
hum·ble /ˈhəmbəl/ adjective 1. having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's own importance. 2. of low social, administrative, or political rank. Humble does equal weakness in the perspective of power. Showing a low estimate of your own skill or importance is being weak. If you are objectively good at something... then you are objectively good at it. Why is it bad to say you are good when you are? Is it so you don't make someone feel bad about themselves?

Did you know that powerful positions are often held by powerful people? Well, the more you know. The struggle for power is the fight that our species does all the time, and if you seek to change anything than by your definition you must be a sociopath(look at definition please). Because without power what could you change?
Hartlite & M&M I’m pretty sure this means focusing on the past you’ll get hurt but forgetting it will make hurt you twice as much. Much like forgive but never forget
Everyone in the comments is so fast to call this manipulative,”blasphemous”,cruel and abusive. All Mr. Greene did was look throughout history and compose FACTS that set these leaders apart from average joe. I think all knowledge is good ie now your all the wiser if you see this being acted out. Long point short, it’s not the character portrayed in this story but the society that it was forged, honed, and perfected that should be troubling to these people. Knowledge is power. Stay united
The "The 48 Laws of Power" should only be used on those who try to use them on you, not on unsuspecting and genuine people. If you use these tactics on genuine people, it is then you will be an evil person who will reap mass amounts of bad Karma. This is Universal and Spiritual Law 101.
This is a double edged sword. A lot of people today go against the majority just for the sake of not being in the majority. Just because it's a publicly accepted truth/trend doesn't mean it's false/bad. Sometimes just a little bit of nuance is enough.
@@LEONSKENNEDY91 Some people want to be the blade within the majority Some people want to be sword that go against it Some people dont want to be with a group at all Any advice for people like me who want to murder the whole crowd in fire and flames while killing myself as well ?
@@robertbachman911 Actually _everyone_ - including you and myself - alternate among being within the majority, against it and neutral according to the topic: religion, politics, sports, preferences, behavior at home, work, internet and so on. World is complex, and people are complex too. When we see a "crowd" we just see a specific facet of them, but they have countless ones. Take some "average joe" who sides with 80% of people in 80 different things and you will find out there are just 124 people like him in entire world (7,000,000,000*(0.80^80)).
LAW 16 is so underrated. "Familiarity breeds contempt", if more selfless people (esp with lack of boundaries) truly understood this they can have a much simpler life

What’s crazy is a lot of these I found out on my own through life experience. Like the importance of not saying too much and knowing when to stay away, etc..
3:37 This law deadass got me out of an arrest one time. car was getting searched for 2 oz. of weed,(illegal where I am) as soon as the cop came close I adverted his attention and confessed about where the gun was (legal) this changed his whole mindset and he totally forgot he smelled weed and it became all about my gun at that point lol
This Beat Major same here almost I had 2zips in a backpack and a sack in my glovebox you’re only aloud to have a oz right when the cop pulled up I had all my paperwork and the sack of weed like I know it smells I have this hoping they wouldn’t check for my larger stash the female copped laughed and said that’s all like it was a little bit of weed I knew I was good at that point
LinkyouOfficial Get this straight. Lions don't use the laws of power because these laws are sly. Lions fight for the truth no matter the semantics or politics of it. This is what defines a Lion, not being seduced by snakelike ways of getting to your goals. Yes, these laws work in this world, but it will not give you the reward of really "resting in peace"...
Never outshine the master. People become jealous easily Never put too much trust in firends learn to use enemies. They’ll let you know when people talk behind your back. Always say less than necessary. The greatest knowledge is knowing you know nothing 🤫.
If you study well enough on any given subject it will be programmed in your mind as if it were normal. i.e. the way you were raised and how you grew up is the way you are now or orginally were. You can always change the old you, but it is inevitable for leaks of your past to seep through the cracks of extreme pressure. It just takes mastery.
I can tell you put a lot of work into this, so well done. I know English isn’t your first language, which makes this all the more impressive. Additionally, the cartoons are really fun and make the video a lot less serious, which makes it easier to pay attention to. Though I think you missed some of the points, I still find your work stellar.
The silent letters are a heritage of Latin. It makes French harder to learn, but (and not because it is my language I love and talk a few others) it also makes it sound really pretty :)
I've learned and used some of these lessons on my own and taught one specific lesson to a student. A friend discouraged me from reading this, citing it as a toll of folks I wouldn't want to emulate. But this was fabulous. Thanks for doing this.
A lot of these laws require you to be a worse human being. Either you become an asshole or you get trampled on by assholes. This is the dilemma that I've always found myself in.
Most people, after spending enough time with a person will know who is real and who is acting. You can't play a whole room/team/social group without someone watching your words, actions and seeing if your intentions add up. The major red flag is someone who can get on with everyone and influence most of them without actually doing much themselves.
I stumbled on this book and realised that I had been unconsciously practising some of these laws for the better part of my life. I am so hooked on this book bacause it seriously speaks to me. Everything in this book feels like it was written for me.

Beautiful animation and book! All these principles applied and understood in the right way can create power for the individual, the family, community, and the people. Some are more of a warning so we don't get used, others are things we can use to better our purpose and focus. :-) In the description of his book he states it perfectly, this information is for people who want to gain, observe, and defend against Ultimate control. So moving forward with our positive vision for the world, I'm going to use some of these to help me get the job done, I'm going to observe all of these so I know them when I see them, and I'm going to know that some of these I have to defend myself and another's against.
Law #0: Master all 48 laws and when asked, tell them you don't know about these laws. So then they will use these laws against you and you are able to easily dodge and counter all attacks. When asked again if you really don't know about the law, just say you got lucky.
As insightful as this is I must say I learned at a young age many of these things through either things that happened to me, mistakes I made, my mom schooling me or just by being quiet and observant. But with that said there are the last few that I've been awakened to recently by living those lessons. Which in hindsight I realize that you do face the same lessons again and again until you master them. I wanted to go to the library yesterday to get this book but kids weren't on it and now I don't have to. Guess the universe felt my vibe. has to be cuz I never spoke a word to no one that I wanted to read this. 💫💜

I see a lot of comments knocking this. It's really just human nature. We all do this shit and play the power game weather we know it or not. Surely we all have been manipulated by some of these laws. Look no further than your Government. Your employer, family, friends ect.... You will play this game or it will be played on you. Might as well be good at it.

1. The laws are not rules.

W. Emerson

The silent letters are a heritage of Latin. It makes French harder to learn, but (and not because it is my language I love and talk a few others) it also makes it sound really pretty :)
silent letters make something sound prettier? oh the irony of that statement
Lukas Sversepa I Loved this video. Having the knack to wrestle and explain these subtle social is something special. I hope people listen. 😋😉

“If you’re a fox, play the hare. If you’re the hare, play the fox.” -Pierce Brown, Golden Son
I've learned and used some of these lessons on my own and taught one specific lesson to a student. A friend discouraged me from reading this, citing it as a toll of folks I wouldn't want to emulate. But this was fabulous. Thanks for doing this.
Your voice is pleasant and enjoyable, I can't say the same about many here on TH-cam. Thank you for your hard work.
I’m speechless. What a remarkably amazing video.
This book is so valuable. It is insane how there are people in the world who do no utilize these gems!!
A lot of these laws require you to be a worse human being. Either you become an asshole or you get trampled on by assholes. This is the dilemma that I've always found myself in.
@@MrPastigeYou need to be ABLE to be the asshole, then adjust accordingly
Most people, after spending enough time with a person will know who is real and who is acting. You can't play a whole room/team/social group without someone watching your words, actions and seeing if your intentions add up. The major red flag is someone who can get on with everyone and influence most of them without actually doing much themselves.
I stumbled on this book and realised that I had been unconsciously practising some of these laws for the better part of my life. I am so hooked on this book bacause it seriously speaks to me. Everything in this book feels like it was written for me.
Sounds like you were a born king! 👍

This book is amazing! I’ve used a lot of the laws in my life and with my Human Resources career. I use this book when I do career coaching or HR consulting with individual clients that need assistance in the workplace.

Beautiful animation and book! All these principles applied and understood in the right way can create power for the individual, the family, community, and the people. Some are more of a warning so we don't get used, others are things we can use to better our purpose and focus. :-)
In the description of his book he states it perfectly, this information is for people who want to gain, observe, and defend against Ultimate control. So moving forward with our positive vision for the world, I'm going to use some of these to help me get the job done, I'm going to observe all of these so I know them when I see them, and I'm going to know that some of these I have to defend myself and another's against.
i love the historical examples. I appreciate your work my brother and i will be watching all ofypur videos.
Thank you, Shad!
Law #0: Master all 48 laws and when asked, tell them you don't know about these laws. So then they will use these laws against you and you are able to easily dodge and counter all attacks. When asked again if you really don't know about the law, just say you got lucky.

Ah yes.
Me, with manipulative intent : " *Hey, do you know about the 48 laws of power ?* "

It's definitely not everyone and "ends justify the means logic" is what gives rise to dysfunctional societies.

Yes people want to "believe" that humans are not like this. But we are!!
I totally agree
Let me sum up 48 laws of power. Stab your friends in the back once you get enough from them and bootlick your enemies, don't backstab enemies because they are too strong. Sun Tsu art of war is superior and talks about the need for Moral Law. So FVCK the 48. Yes, I agree that human nature is messed. We can outgrow selfish competition or destroy the planet in the process. Societies that cooperate are more successful than those that are corrupt.

Ron Dasher what if these social skills are natural but you dont try to use them as your advantage then sense later you admit you know the person inside out they feel paranoid about you and they start to think that your playing a game with them when really your not.
