      TSTORM I honestly hate how every screw on this car has a different method of taking it out.

      Nour Hummadi does bmw tend to have a lot of problems or is this just a normal thing for every car?

      TSTORM honestly man Bmw is better than this, my car was treated terribly by the previous owner

      So sorry man. You’re building quite a body of invaluable knowledge though. I have a leak in my e91 and have nearly replaced everything. The culprit? I think that the male stub on the bottom of the radiator
      has a hairline crack in it. So...new radiator. If this doesn’t fix it... new lower hose-German vs rein... and if that doesn’t fix it... I tow it to my mechanic.

    It is costly to maintain the car when it gets up in mileage. Maintenance on mine at 120,000 miles cost me a lot, but saved a lot with my good mechanic. He is a certified master mechanic for BMW, but now operates his own independent shop. Good luck with your car and hope nothing else goes wrong with it.

    Well, I admire you stick-to-it-ivness on this car. Unfortunately, when you buy a European car, you buy a piece of the boat as well. I love my 1994 325is, but its...well...a car. I can tell you of all the cars in my life, and at some point, other loves come and take their place and eventually you have someone else change your oil. That's the sure sign that you've graduated from love of car to love of something else with a higher priority...job, mutual funds, wimmen. Not sure if a dog is cheaper to love than a BMW, but your knowledge base of what you now know is something no one can ever take away from you. BMW's, for as expensive as they are, come with plenty of flaws, and it's guys like you that post videos for the rest of us that help give us the confidence to fix our own. You can never have too many good videos to explain just "how to do it".

    Hi, I would like to know if you have an answer to my problem. I have a bmw 2006 and I love it as you love yours. Well my problem with the car is that I start the car runs well and then it starts to shake but not turn off. Then I park I start the car again and is fine. Thanks
    Anyone can help me please 🙏🏻

      Ruben does the rpm move up then back down to normal while in idle? If it does it's probably a misfire which could be a number of things, if the rpm are steady during idle then it's most likely not a misfire.

      Vaccum leak

    • @dance2142
      @dance2142 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had that problem as well. Codes showed that it was the vanos solenoid and a bad ignition coil. I replaced the ignition coil and the shaking went away. Later on the shaking came back and the problem was the vanos solenoid. Changed both vanos solenoid and car never had that problem again. Go to fcpeuro.com to get the parts because they have a lifetime replacement warranty. Hope that helps.

    • @NourHummadi

      like it dose not fold in? If its usually dose just dicounnect the battery for 4 hours and then it should work. If that dose not work use the carly app to reset the fault and it might work.

    Dude while my Honda is older it has 122k and it is a nightmare indescribably difficult to work on and it seems like every time you fix something it causes something else to break. The whole front end assembly is garbage while my BMW is rock solid and much easier to work on. I think Japanese reliability is a myth and I’ve owned 2 Hondas and a Toyotas. They just have cheap parts.

    • @Bmwguy2011
      @Bmwguy2011 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      BMW-E90-HQ this makes me feel
      Better already. I own an e91 and an e82 both manual and like them a Lot. The main problem with Japanese cars: getting hit in an accident. Injuries inevitable-why I switched to German.

    Hey Buddy, thanks for your video. I had exactly the same problem when both of the drain screws were sticked inside the drain plug. Hopefully the car was parked after few km I tested it after the coolant flush, with the pressure the full drain plug and screw was pushed out with the coolant liquid. Car was stopped so no damage but at least I know why it broke inside the radiator (nothing to screw and specially use only this cap 1/4 turn). I just need to replace it now...thanks for your video, cheers

    • @mt4eahunterch649
      @mt4eahunterch649 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just to add: I changed both drain plugs, when ordered they came with blue srews. What needs to be added is that when you replace the drain plug you need to know that once in the radiator they cannot be removed except if you break them. So when you plug back the parts you need to srew them very slowly 1/10 of turn is enough, you will hear a click when they are properly plugged. If you screw more than 1/10 of a turn you break them. Finally 2 drain plugs is the same price than changing the radiator so if you have time, it is better to do. In the new radiator both screws and 1 drain plugs have to be screwed so no more issue with that. Good luck
