    You are supposed to take out the silver bar after you put your threads on. Makes the threads tight. I know others have commented on this in many of the earlier videos but you continue to do it incorrectly. Try it. You’ll like it.

      We see how supple and beautiful the work turns out with the bar in place. Taking it in and out, flexing the stiff plastic seems to lead to cracks and breakage. That's the biggest complaint about this loom.

    What of you use more beads? Is there a method to hold them up on first pass? My finger has dips and males it hard

      It can be hard if you have a wider piece. The only method that I am aware of is with holding them with your fingers. It's interesting to try to think of another way.

    I am wonder if you would share the type of needle you suggest and the size of bead. I can't get the need through the beads a second time. Using 11/0

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would suggest a size 11 needle. That should go through an 11/0 bead twice. For the thread, One-G or Nymo size B or D should work well.

    My question is when you’re feeding and run out a thread do you supposed to make a knot

    Ive had my Jewel Loom for a couple of months and have made a few bracelets. However, I find that creating the warp threads at the beginning is so difficult. Say I want 18 warp threads. I start threading the loom and by the time I get four or five threaded on the loom, the first two or three are very loose. Can you give me any suggestions so this doesn’t happen? Thanks so much. Both of you ladies are great teachers! ❤

      Hi! I am thinking that perhaps it is a tension issue and you need to pull your threads tighter as you go. I find that I do the threading of the loom almost in a single motion going back and forth never putting the loom down or pausing. Do you find that your knot is coming out at all? What thread are you using? I am wondering what else might be causing the issue.

    I am using this as a reference, thank you so much for sharing. I think I'm going to chuck the Rick's beading loom. What a mess the rod does not have any ridges. Such a rip off,

    Hello, i appreciate your videos, i am hoping that you will do a tutorial on the larger black square beads with the smaller ivory beads, where you used the griffon silk as i have no clue on how to do those different sized beads. Also i'm glad i can leave the rod in, Thanks.
