Hi Leslie, I loved this video! It would be so great to see you set up a bead loom and how you go about getting such amazing tension throughout your pieces. I am in awe!
Beautiful Work!! I just finished my First Beaded Bracelet, I’ve made since I learned it at Bible Camp when I was 9 yrs. old. I forgot how to finish it off. So Thank You For this Wonderful Tutorial! I’m now 70! And getting back into the Beautiful Art!. 🪶❤️
Thank you! I could only find videos that say to glue the warp thread into the clasp or something, but I don't want to make a bracelet, or use a clasp. This looks so much nicer
Thank you for your tut! It explains where i have been going wrong with the stretchy threads and i like your way of threading back into the piece…hopefully this solves my looming problems! Thanks ✌
Thank you so much for this nice explanation . What do you think about the pull and pray method ?In this method you are not allowed to cut off the threads but pull them instead according to a specific sequenze. At the end you only have two threads left which you can easily sew in .
I tried this with a much thinner bracelet and the last column started to get messed up when I began to weave the threads back into the bracelet. Not sure how you ended the bracelet before removing it from the bead loom but it would be great to get some advice to ensure the last column doesn't get messed up. Thank you.
I couldn't get it to go through the threads like you did ..it caught several but then went through the other side and outside of all threads. You zipped thru like butter. .. I'm still trying to figure out how to get through at any speed. Thanks for showing this tho, at least with time ( HOURS, I'm thinking) I think I may get this licked. I don't want a bracelet but a strip to put on a leather purse strap and this will work whenever I can get it completed by your method. Thanks for sharing.
I'm trying to find the specific thread you use for the warps. However, it seems like they may have changed the packaging on the spool? Do you know whether they have?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone! I am curious as to what the difference is between tying off the thread in knots at both ends as compared to weaving the threads back into the bracelet and pulling them out the side. Is it so that the bracelet will be more durable for wear and last longer?
If you hate the ends so much, why don't you do a square stitch with just a needle they say it is a loomed pattern without the loom.It is really fun and goes quickly when you put your last bead in sides and ends are finished and you just push thread on needle through the last 3 or 4 rows inside the the actual beads of and the edges are automatically enforced....It is a firmer finished project which is great for bracelets and rings. You can make them as wide as you want, as well.....I am pretty new new to beading,so I am asking only because I would like to know the difference between the 2 and why one is a better application than the other, and what each is best for...Thankyou...If you have a video already on this topic, that would be awesome!
Can you list the thread in the description please? 👍 Edit: nevermind! I actually had some in my stash! Thanks so much for the tip! I've been looking for a an alternative since certain beading thread is very expensive!
Hello Leslie! Thanks for this great tutorial. I consider you my teacher. Please, what do you think about the Ko Beading Thread? Where I live I didn't find the Coats Dual Duty Plus thread. Thank you and I admire you a lot!
Hi and thank you. I like KO for certain uses, but not for loom beading bracelets. You need something a little stiffer to make the bracelet more sturdy. For the warp you need something that doesn't stretch because it will mess up the tension when you are finished. Good luck!
I have some large tapestries that I finished using this method. Are there any products or techniques for hanging them on a wall? Would it be safe to just pin them up with a tack?
It's just held by tension, by the tight weave and the reversing of the threads. Even if one got pulled out (and it wouldn't come out unless it got pulled) the bracelet would be totally fine because of the ones around it.
Great video! Now, when you're running that needle up through, am I understanding correctly that you are going through the two weft threads running between those beads? Or over and under?
I made a bracelet and Im not sure how to end it and make it look smooth without glue or a knot. I made it with button holes so that the bracelet was all beads. But I took it off the loom to add the buttons to the end and my last row of beads came off. So I took it apart and made it again. Any advice I dont want to cut it off the loom until I am sure of what to do next.

Just found your channel. Beautiful work love it xx
Just the right amount of detail, not making it complicated with too many words to explain the same process.. Thank You!!!!

Thank you for showing us how to finish. Bigger job, then the actual weave work ah!😮😊
Thank you so much for the video! This will work great for small loom pictures!
This is what i was searching for. Thank you.
LMAO!!! SOOOO, I was really hoping for a easier way. Why be lazy now, right! Thanks so much for the video. You did it beautifully!
Your work is beautiful.

Thank you for making this video it has been very helpful! I was wondering how do you add a clasp on?
Thanks so much for this video. Its a lot easier than I thought it would be. Now to buy a loom. 😄

Can I ask how did you attach a button to this work and have yoy a video on it please. great video

Thanks for sharing this with the world! I was hoping someone would find my old blog posts and make a video.
This is brilliant! Thank you so much for this!
One more question: what loom do you use? Thank you!!
Thank you for showing this.
Thank you so much for this!!! Questions: where can I find those patterns? What type of clasp do you recommend for a bracelet of that width (30 beads)?
I find patterns on Etsy
How do you make sure that all the beads are of the same size? I bought several beads but some are big and some are small
Anyone know where I can get that needle?

Great video easy to see to follow ty
Have you ever had a bead break or shatter while threading back through, and if so how do you fix it?
Also how do you attach button??
Do you take the needle up and down when you end this Bead loom?
What is the smallest size bead you large eyed needle can go through?
thanks for this tutorial. Perfect timing. Am rewarpping loom, only had 2 rows in. have you ever done 2 needle loom beading, thanks again

Hi, what type of beads did you use in the video? It is very helpful, thank you!!
Those are Myuki delica seed beads
Can you list the thread in the description please? 👍

Please, come fai a fare le asole per le chiusure? Grazie thanks 9:09
So over under when you are going up?

Question: how do you keep from unraveling? You used zero ties.
It's just held by tension, by the tight weave and the reversing of the threads. Even if one got pulled out (and it wouldn't come out unless it got pulled) the bracelet would be totally fine because of the ones around it.
Great video thank you it's always been the worst part for me.
Do you have a pattern for these lovely peacock feather bracelets😇 I adore them.💅🏻
Where did you get your peacock pattern for that beautiful feather?
Thank-you,, that looks nice and neat,, I always whant to lean how to do that,, Now I know,, my projects are going to look nice,, Thank-you again..
Great video! Now, when you're running that needle up through, am I understanding correctly that you are going through the two weft threads running between those beads? Or over and under?
Between is very important. They stay snug. :-)
Do you have a tutorial on how to make a button hole on the loom?
I don't.... but you basically just skip a bead and weave back and forth on either side. Hope that helps!
How do I add a jump ring and a clasp to this then??? please could you make a video? thank you
Have you a video on attaching a clasp
how do you close this bracelet?
Any one have sources for clasp ends for loom work. I’m in need of something to do with my approx 2” (51mm) wide bracelet.
Great video, very helpful. Can you do a video on adding various clasps
I'm afraid I mainly use buttons and snaps as I like an integrated closure, so I don't buy many clasps. But thanks for your interest.
yea but what do u connect it to after to make it into a bracelet? thats what i was searching for
I use special clip for Miyuki sead, it slides the bracelet in the clip
I think here is closed with buttons
How do you make the button holes
What type of beads do you use? Mine from Michaels make some rows bigger than the other ones
It looks like she may be using Miyuki Delica beads - they are lovely and very consistent in size :)
I made a bracelet and Im not sure how to end it and make it look smooth without glue or a knot. I made it with button holes so that the bracelet was all beads. But I took it off the loom to add the buttons to the end and my last row of beads came off. So I took it apart and made it again. after the button holes weave at least 5 more full rows. I hope that helps.
Great never know about that method. Did u use double thread when u loom ur bracelet? To get those ends in between? Thanks for sharing. 💕
I use double thread on the outside edges for reinforcement. Singe in the body of the piece.
This Is The conteant good..🤝❤👍
Very nice.
Muy bonito muchas gracias por compartir Jehova te bendiga feliz tarde
Now what. Unless this is a bookmark, we still dont know how to finish it
Thats a hard way of doing it..Just tie each strand and add a bit of glue .. works a lot better..less time consuming
But if you aren't adding a clasp to cover the knots it looks like crap.
