The city I never knew existed | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾

- My first day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was especially fun because I was with two experienced friends. @Travelwithchris and @TravelingSoloLogs were super fun to explore the city with! I'm amazed by Kuala Lumpur's impressive architecture, delicious food, diverse culture, and so much more. In this video I walked through the Petronas Twin towers, the tallest twin towers in the world. We walked through KLCC park, through the awesome raised walking paths that connect the entire city, and through to Pavilion tower mall where it was decorated beautifully for the upcoming Chinese New Year.
Welcome to my Malaysia series! This place is so dope and I'm excited to keep discovering more!

First Asian country to build the tallest building in the world that is Malaysia
These buildings are crazy!! Where ever I am in the city I love looking at the beautiful skyline!🏙️
no need to mention all that things. let then find it themself
Build two giant dildos by hiring korean company- what is the long term benefit? Nothing to the peoples- two dildos to boast what once the tallest-now no longer- as a memorial for tun mamakutty the kleptokrat-
Why not use the money ti build several high speed rails in Borneo and East malaya instead?
Two dildos do nothing - too big to fit the axx holes
No need to show off. its cringe.
As Malaysia my self it's embarrassing.
@@wow-3hahaha no need to get embarrassed...you should be proud
I am a Malaysian living in Toronto, Canada and it is so so accurate the way you described cities in N. America in general, (decaying). Yet, the people in N. America do not (refuse to) see it this way at all. Furthermore, continues to bash other countries. No country is perfect, Malaysia is not perfect either, but at least cities in Asia are progressing and in N. America, decaying, i.e. tent cities. I will be enjoying KL and Penang in May :)
I couldn’t have said it better! Enjoy your trip!!!!
We are Muslim Malaysians who have known Chinese, Indians, and Kristine since we were children. Respect for different religions and refraining from playing with sensitive religious sensitivities are essential to our unity.
I hope to learn the religion, culture, and way of life of all people. I will always respect them all, and appreciate being welcomed everywhere I go!

Malay people are naturally friendly... its our culture to treat guest nicely, to make sure they feel comfortable & save.We will 150% respect u if u respect us.. thast all we need. Hope u guys enjoyed being here .. pls come again during Ramdhan & celebrate AidilFitri with us 😊
The more Malay people I meet the more I’m learning how amazingly true that is! It’s so interesting to see the fusion of all these cultures packed into one place!
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is still one of the most underrated cities in the world!😊😅
I agree 100%. This is seriously the coolest! I can’t believe I didn’t know until now!
@kamaruddin9172 Yes keep it away from all the hype. Malaysia is a good country. ❤ great people and yummy food!!❤❤
Not that underrated anymore. Most visited country in SEA 2023 and KL no.7 world's most visited city.
Oh wow very interesting.
You looked super excited man!
I mean you’re from LA and you came to an unknown city in the Far East...
And found out it shinier than LA, maybe?
I don't blame you maaan!
Wow, three well-known vloggers are here. Naturally, we are aware that Solo is an authority on Malaysia, and since Chris has visited the country previously, we also know that he is knowledgeable about it also. The fact that your vlogs not only educate other travelers but also help us Malaysians, as it's common for us to take for granted the things that we can see anytime we want until someone else has investigated and brought them to our attention. We hope you'll keep discovering more amazing facts about Malaysia that you can share in your vlogs to help other visitors know about Malaysia before they’re here. Many thanks for your assistance in bringing attention to our country abroad.
Glad to be included! These guys have made my first visit (of many) so awesome! I will indeed continue to explore everything I possibly can!

Ok so I’m from L.a. also the first thing I said was we have no malls like this the Beverly center is a joke compared to this mall lol… This looks like paradise, Thank u for sharing🎉
Haha same same! And I haven’t even seen many malls here yet! Thanks and most def!!
Actually we have redundant amount of mall looking like this within the Klang Valley region, which included Selangor and KL and Putrajaya, such as Suria KLCC, Pavillion, Times Square, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Velocity, One Utama, Mid Valley, The Mines, IOI City mall, and many other with lesser crowd now.
I think you cannot build big malls like these as California is earthquake prone.
Best country in the world and foodie capital of the universe!❤❤❤enjoy bro!

Glad that you love your stay in Malaysia. Welcome to Malaysia, one of the most friendliest countries in the world. Malaysians will go extra mile to make you feel truly welcome, trust me.

why Ramadhan? I think that is 1 of your unanswered question.. :)
this is consider the best time for most of the experienced tourist to Malaysia and to most of us Malaysian as well. Ramadhan will be our (Muslim) fasting month (2nd week of March this year), before we celebrate Eid (another celebration u don't wanna miss), during Ramadhan there will be a lot of food bazaar across the whole country (especially KL) that will open around the evening basically to accommodate Muslim people to get their food for breaking their fast (by sunset, around 7.30pm).
This food bazaar is actually the best part of Ramadhan not only for Muslim, but actually for the whole country (regardless of race or religion) including tourist where they will find thousands of different foods, hopping from 1 bazaar to another, breakfasting with the locals and just enjoying food.
Hopefully you'll have the chance to experience this, so stay around or come back later :)
In the meantime, enjoy your stay and go explore!
Thank you for the info! That sounds amazing! I actually won’t be able to stay for Ramadhan this year, but I’m going to have to make a point to plan around it next time

Many holidays and many reasons to celebrate and be happy! This place is amazing!
Hi bro!!!.. nice to see ur video. What Solo said was right that u can come again on the middle of March to enjoy more food bazaars every where in conjunction of Ramadhan, a Muslims fasting throughout the month. Hope you have fun while you are in Malaysia, a Truly Asia👍👋...
That sounds awesome. Honestly I would be sad to be here when people are fasting because I love eating so much, BUT I also love experimenting with different cultures and would consider participating in Ramadhan myself! Seems tough but rewarding!
@@WhereisBrad it dosen't matter bro, u can eat everywhere u like coz the Syariah Authorities only do their action strictly to those who are Muslim only, especially Malays. And infact, as a Muslim, we don't think it can be sensetive for us even u eat some food infront us. People, especially Tourist are free here to eat during a day time. And, don't worry coz there're many non-Muslim Restaurant can be open during a day time. So, hope u would not miss out ur chance to come & eat at any Ramadhan Food Bazaar, soon ( starting open at 3pm - 7pm, depand on the certain area ) with an affordable price👍
Okay awesome. Thank you!!
Be careful of Ramadhan month. Eventhough it's d fasting month, but that's d easiest month to gain weight due to the humongous array of food. That's why d Muslims haf to be so "strong" mentally n faith during that month 🤭
