This was a beautiful and massive mall, filled with luxury shopping, delicious diverse cuisines from all over the world, and even a huge playground and water park on top! A 12 minute walk from where I'm staying and never knew it was there. I've been in KL for 3 days and I've been to more malls than the last 20 years in the US. They're an oasis from the heat, so even if you aren't buying anything you'll end up in 'em walking the city.

One way to cure lactose intolerant is to eat your gelato or drink your milk slowly. Once the milk mix with your saliva, it wont affect your tummy. Every mouthful of milk try to leave it in your mouth for a while, add some saliva and wualah !!! ur intolerance is gone

The TRX Exchange Mall is really beautiful. The rooftop garden is a lovely recreational area. The open space outside the mall is also beautiful. Did you get a new haircut in KL?
The selection of baklava and kunefe could be my favorite from this mall.
Haha yep! I chose a nearby barbershop and it was a whole experience. Took close to two hours! I forget the name but I wish I recorded it!!!

One thing I love about TRX is, it has its own MRT station. So you dont have to endure the tropical heat to get there!

Inside trx tower another restaurants & convenience store surround. The only way to go up (offices) by going to the centre of the building which is for authorised people only

Hi Brad , how many days is enough for a family to spend in Kuala Lumpur
It really depends on your style of travel, kids ages, interests, etc. But I feel like there were family friendly options everywhere I went.
To keep it short, if I had two kids elementary level, I’d prob stay for 4-5ish days. Personally I like my solo travel to be fast paced. But for family travel I’d prob do 5 days in the city, and then 5 relaxing in a beach area.
10 ringgit for that gelato is a steal.

I learned about the exchange TRX by a few different people. I actually thought it was called the TRX at first because everyone including locals were calling it TRX. Any idea why everyone calls it that?

you are kidding me or what? gelato is just an italian name for ice-cream. Just like cafe in italian and we malaysian chinese called it Kopitiam. Same same.
Gelato is different for sure. I knew it was different, but wasn’t able to describe it. Just looked it up and it has different ingredients and different process to make. Which is why it’s creamier and a more intense flavor.
You should try gelato. If coconut ice cream is made from coconut milk, gelato is a mix of eggs and milk. But yes, since they looked the same but the difference in taste, aroma and texture is significant 😊
