    Love your dress!! I also love the aprons! I have a couple of vintage tablecloths from my mom and thought about making aprons out of them. They’re square and don’t fit my table. They aren’t being used, but I can’t even think of getting rid of them. Love your channel! ❤️✌🏻

    What great finds! I need to discover what is the German equivalent, if it is there is one! The Flohmarkt (flea market) are sometimes good, but lately it's just been modern junk, like cheap T-shirts and cellphones...

    These vintage ladies are very desirable.they really portray gals of the day thick rich lip color. Girls back in the day didn't have much so if mom had a sewing machine pretty dress were made. Food was low jobs were hard to get life was hard. The DREAM was to have a house with white picket dence a dog n half dozen of kiddos. And men n women even they didnt have much did there best to take care of clothes bc they would be handed down are reporsed for clothes are rags. Point is even they had little they knew to dress proper. Life i think got better in late sixtys. I was born 1956. And wewere poor my mom pushed me in the stroller and went to the local garage where a man much older than her liked her very much. I was told she went up there n he gave her a can of cream because we were so poor didn't have baby milk. Note back in those days breast feeding was looked down on. They pushed them to not breast feed n feed baby milk which was made of 1 part Cream 1part water and 1part kero syrup. And this nice man helped me to eat i guess for that day. Grandma always was working in the home and had her ruffled apron on. Grandpop was a Navy cook when he came home he always cooked BEAN SOUP every kind n chicken dumplings tomato gravy oh my GOD I tried to create the tomato gracy and couldnt. My guess it needed cream are milk. Sorry for rant just taking you back. Those days ARMY soldiers were everywhere n girls would dress up and try to get hooked up thats how i was made. Some in the day well most looked down at out of wedlock babies that was me dad was ARMY and here only a few months training. Girls would wait at the greyhound bus company hopefully meeting a aingle Army guy and she did. I qas made out of wedlock an on my birth certificate it was a huge RED STAMP THAT SAID BASTAR--d. Not wanting kids to understand the world but yea thats what i was called. So life today Even post cov we are better off then 30,s to 60,s. When you described walking pass the RICH HOUSES it made me think what is really considered RICH. If you were buying a single family home well thats rich. If dad had a good job. ( Middle class ) with some benefits nice Chrisrmas bonus. That was RICH. Had a few children and a car not to old you were RICH. If dad n mom were home entire weekend mom cooked extra special fried chicken mas n peas dad had kids learning to work on car. Mom was teaching you to sew are make a cake and every one set down to the table said grace that was RICH. Also a big one every one was healthy definitely RICH. Alot of those so called RICH LOOKING HOMES were ALWAYS working long hours and both mom n dad was working kids always at the sitter are you had a live in Nanny. We use to do drywall fishing on these new homes and NO ONE was ever home. Normally finished basements. They had nice new cars several but never home alwaya mom n dad working. To me this is NOT RICH how can you enjoy home cars money when u were never home. And they were up there nose in debt. You my dear are RICH you have a home and 5 kids uou can make your own hours be home with family instead of driving. ANYWAY THIS MY DEFINITION OF RICH❤

    hii how do you find vintage plus sized clothing?

  • @Lonelyone1111
    @Lonelyone1111 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Tell a short story. Thise Rich houses people are never in there. Me n husband use to do drywall finishing. We did million dollar houses BASEMENTS. No one was ever home. Kids at sitters and mom n pop both working to pay that 5000$ a month its actully sad they have very little time wutg each other are family.
    Love peace happiness dont automatically come with that Rich home. U are probly alot more happy

    You should really invest in an iron! That dress doesn’t look like it’s been worn since the 40’s, and honestly it should have stayed there!

    • @tiffanybevis4251
      @tiffanybevis4251 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Wow, could you be any ruder?? The style isn't for everyone & as a fellow mother of multiples, we don't always have time to iron our clothes. She looks beautiful & loves the dress and that's all that matters. Maybe practice being kind and keep scrolling. Geez 🙄

      Imagine living in a world where you don’t know that cotton fabrics WRINKLE (gasp!!!) when you sit down and/or wear them for more than 5 minutes. 😅😅😅
      Then again if you hate my style you likely only wear synthetic modern fabrics which don’t wrinkle so I don’t blame you for understanding that simple concept

      Wow, how about if you have nothing nice to say, just don't comment? I'm here impressed she has the time to dress up so nicely and do these videos for us with multiple children, and you still find something to complain about 🙄
