Welcome back all you beautiful people to the first melt of the year. What an absolute huge copper melt this was and a massive addition to the stack. Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep up with these size melts all the time but it's a bloody good start that's for sure. Hope everyone had a happy safe New Year and stay tuned for some Interesting melts some chunky monkeys ,magpies, bigsnacks etc 👋🏻😁
🤔👍👍This is a good attempt to melt copper through what is called this big furnace with three buckets and also instead of putting the pieces of iron on which you pour the famous copper or make like a scale or a long table or in the middle of your height I mean your waist your feet the level is high and not at ground level any long iron table on which you put these buckets or square pieces of iron on which you pour the famous copper like a table you have this wooden table that you work on but make it another table of iron so that you pour the copper or other molten materials and it is fixed and not on stones my regards
👍Place the table that I told you to make from iron and place it near the tree, that is, near the melting of the metal. It will be close to you in the work and easier.
I certainly will buddy cheers for the super thanks much appreciated and I’ll be sure not to waste it on anything silly just the necessities like beer👊🏻😁🍻🍻. Have a great weekend buddy. Thanks again.

Very nice haul there mate! You think that the copper might have been alloyed with something to make it behave like it did? You certainly can't go past those old motors for bulk copper! A shredder certainly would make short work of the copper wire! I'm going to try my hardest to get it made as fast as possible. Have a good one mate. Talk soon. No K&K this week, so you get all the funds again!
Cheers buddy👊🏻😁. what the hell is Kurtis doing? The Lazy bugger . I’ll have to text him and tell him to get his shit together🙄. Which reminds me, I need to call him anyway to see if he still wants to send me all that crap he’s got on his pallet daddy‘s been storing for ages for me🤔 have a great weekend bud
Yes, strange indeed. It is like some part of the copper decided halfway to expand while cooling instead of shrinking. I don't know of any metal that behaves like that.
Happy new years, mate. Brings me back to the days when you were in the old garage, snagging at whatever dust and particles of metal you could. Bullion and Ingot, in the back yard. And now look at us, years and years later. Good days ahead, aye?
When I went to Aus with my uni a few years ago (Bridgestone world solar challenge - I was a driver), our most commonly used phrase was “hydrate or diedrate!” - glad to see 31:27 and 43:01! Happy new year!
I really miss when you used to tear down on the concrete at your old house. I felt you cleaned up every piece of metal possible. Either way I love your videos
Excellent all the best to all you lovelies out there. I live in Aus in Victoria. Nice to see this material especially as old as this, being regenerated. Cheers John.
Hey BigstackD! I remove the copper from stators by cutting off one end and using an air hammer to push on the uncut side. It pulled out the copper very easy, with no damage to your hands!! Hope this helps! CHEERS!!
I always look forward to work on Friday because i get to quietly sit and work while watching and listening to the sounds of metal melting even when i am not melting my own.
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491but still could now be all over the ground and clothing, many people died by asbestosis by actually handling clothing. I’d want it checked before dismantling.
I find it difficult to believe this is A.S.M.R. It's genuinely enjoyable, educational, and entrancing to watch you dismantle obsolete machinery for scrap to melt. I hope you have a bountiful stack this year. 🫡

Yeah mate, we had a great holiday season but were all working still so no real time off but the jobs we have we love so I don’t look at it as Work. Thanks for your ongoing support Much appreciated Dave👊🏻😁. Hello from northeast Ohio in the US. I can't think of a better way to wrap up my week than with a new BigStackD video. That 20kg Devils Forge furnace is a monster.
Happy New Year from the Wirral Peninsula in the UK. Have you kept your new years resolution? Mine is to continue watching BigstackD, every Friday and guess which lil floof will make me smile first, Ingot or Bullion? Well, that and enjoying a good melt.
I have a feeling this one ugly motor is actually gonna be THE LARGEST HAUL OF COPPER OUT OF ANY MOTOR YOU'VE EVER DONE!!! It's not that big but I'll bet it had a TON OF TORQUE!!!! - What an AMAZING FIND!!! Plus I hope you keep ALL OF THAT CAST IRON!!!! - ALL OF IT!!!! lol Seriously... just to have some to make stuff with over time... I LOVE Cast Iron melts!!! - - OH YEA!!! We can't forget ALL THAT BEAUTIFUL BRASS TOO!!! - WOW!! This is one of the best hauls I think you got from a motor! It's definitely the BEST Pound-for-Pound (or I guess you'd say Kilo-for-Kilo .... meaning you got the best value per Kilo/Pound) - WHAT A GREAT MOTOR!!! - AN AMAZING WAY TO START OFF 2025!!!!!
You know, before i started watching your video's i've never really heard of AEG's tools. A few weeks back i bought my first ever set of power tools in my life from them with the intention to use them for knifemaking. So in case if you or anyone else was wondering, your unpaid advertisment works 😂
Interesting, what country do you live in? Here in Australia, AEG power tools have been around for years. German company. Used to make good quality tools "Made in Germany" - not sure where they are made now though.
Another great video. I have been watching the older videos I have watched everything from the first video up to 2017 and from today back to 2020. It's amazing to see how much your skill has improved. I didn't care much for that long steel crucible you used, but I loved the ingenuity of the beer barrel forge you made. Looking forward to finishing the previous videos and for future ones. Keep up the great work. Thanks again
Happy New Year to you and yours. Hope you are blessed with a very prosperous New Year. Looking forward to the goal of 2222 by this summer or your winter. Stay safe sir.
