The panel is gorgeous all those delicate stitches are beautiful and I love the progress on your curiosity cabinet. The daffodils made me smile, they are always the first flowers to bloom here after winter. Sending big hugs for you and your dad 💖
That panel is GORGEOUS!! I just want to touch it. The curiosity box is such a clever idea. That would be such a great summer project for kids. Thanks for sharing!❤
This page is so stunning💕. I love to watch you stitch and listen to your voice which is very soothing. Your cabinet of curiosities is going to be fabulous!
Hi Christine! It’s been so much fun joining all the slow-stitch girls these past couple of yrs. I’ve enjoyed watching you, and hearing your stories. During a difficult time, tuning in to you and the other stitchers has been calming to my heart. So, thank you a whole bunch! 😊❤
It makes me so very happy Terry to know that I’ve been able to help bring you some comfort during a challenging time. I hope the challenges are dissipating and I send you thoughts of comfort, care and support from my little craft room to wherever you are. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thanks dear Joanne - I’m looking forward to having the cabinet on display with my standing accordion book. Lots of fun stitching to do in the meantime 🤗
The cabinet of curiosity is so much fun and the fritellaria page is just exquisite, Christine! Continuous thoughts for your dad and big love from me,too❤
Oh my! Do you know how much I love that cabinet of curiosities? In the movie, French Kiss I loved his wine project box of bottled botanicals. In Toy Story, I was obsessed with that toy repairer's work box. Now your cabinet is firmly stuck in that part of my brain for memorable things in boxes. 😁❤
I has been fun to watch you do your box of curiosities. I have little shelves in My sewing room where I put vintage stuff. Enjoying watching your stitching as it has been a long time since I have done it. ❤❤❤
I'm a newby to slow stitching and have just found your channel. Your video was so relaxing/calming and informative. Your work absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to watching more and putting your ideas into practice. Thank you
A big welcome to you Anne and lovely to have you join our stitchy community - we may be spread out across the globe but we are joined up in our passion for slow stitch. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Hi Christine, your panel is coming along very beautifully and I love how you're doing your box! The daffodil is my favorite spring flower. Thanks for another great video of stitching and chatting. I was answering but I doubt you heard me all the way over there😂 Have a great weekend! TFS 😊
It’s funny Kim but I often almost hear my stitchy friends chatting time while I stitch. Daffodils are such a cheery flower. Still strange they are coming up in the middle of winter! Cheers, Christine ☀️
Your page looks so beautiful. I saw you last time laying it down. I really like it. I spent the day printing on fabric. I used my gelli plate and did some hand painting and made some stencils for my desert section . I also made prints for the back of the the accordion fold . Six for the forest and six for the desert. I used fabric paints.
Those maple seeds make great fairy wings or even wings on Tim Holz people. They look especially good if you glitter them up, either subtly or go-for-it. I used small, palm-sized plastic skeletons with those 'wings' at Halloween to represent dead fairies (oops, did I confess that out loud?).
Hi Christine, another nice video. Good ideas and your stitching is beautiful. Unfortunately no dog at my side. I had the 2nd dog put to sleep in 7 months 2 months ago. One was almost 14 years old, the other only 1.5 years old. Both dogs were rehomed dogs. I had the first for 7 years and the second for only 6 months. I miss them😥 Maybe there will be another dog in the future, but not yet. Have a nice weekend👍🧡💐
Ooooh, it looks fascinating! Could you write labels on the backs of those Formica samples? With chalk pens or poscas maybe? You could add descriptions of the fabric samples or natural bits that you’re displaying. I love how green fingered you are! So much botanical knowledge! It looks to be a really exciting design. Such an imaginative creation
