I’m prolly just sentimental but there was something sad about the house coming down. No doubt it had to happen, but I thought about all of the memories made in each room.
OH MY GOODNESS , Chris. When the bucket made its first crash into the farmhouse, it looked like the head of a T-Rex from Jurassic Park! That bucket is huge buddy. The camera is deceiving to the eyes, but that shot left nothing to the imagination. Awesome video.
I’ve been watching for a while and never commented before. I like how you don’t talk over everything, no shouting, no constant laughing. I get to hear the steady rhythm of machines working. I enjoy your channel. Thanks for sharing.
my house is a cabin that was relocated from the center of our town right to the edge. it was already an old run down cabin when the people "discovered" the land and decided to build a town there, and the person living in it had no idea how old it was. the town was finally founded in 1792 almost 230 years ago, meaning the wood is probably over 300 years old
You, sir, are becoming a fabulous videographer. Those edits where you had to cut to retrieve your camera from inside were near seamless. I had to view it several times before I actually caught it. The first shot from inside was WOW. Like some prehistoric monster come calling. Thanks for the fun tonight.
I Absolutely love watching your videos!! Every one of them!! Especially when you make me laugh!! I pray for your safety every day. I’m 70 yrs old. They Lord say for us not to worry. So I pray for you every day. He has put you on my heart to pray for you. God be with you, Chris.
Watching most of your videos the size of the bucket looks small. Seeing it smash through the wall and window really brings it in to perspective. Love your videos, keep them coming.
Your best demo video yet, Chris. The perspective from inside the house when the bucket comes crashing through is no less then spectacular. Removing a clothing rod (with clothes on it) with an excavator, Outstanding!!
You definitely have some skills, love how you just picked up the clothes right out of the closet, really enjoy your videos, thanks for all the great content you put out
I absolutely love watching your videos, but as a crafter, I was going crazy looking at the beautiful wood and doors and thinking oh please let me grab some old stuff!! Oh well😳💜💜💜
I was wondering why they didn’t save more of the wood, considering the price and poor quality of lumber now. But yeah, it would take a while to deconstruct.
The next you tuber challenge should be for the excavator operators should be "using the bucket teeth and thumb, can you move an entire closet full of coats and dresses at once from one closet to another without dropping them ". That showed greater talent and skill than the no finess pushing trees over. Well done, glad I was watching when you did that. Great stuff
Your kind of good at this old house demolition I see and most of your time will be spent moving that waste into that pit you built and be happy there is no mud and that was a neat closet rack removal and enjoy your shelf at work.
shot of the year seeing that huge bucket come through the window, that just looked awesome and good advertisement for AMI... that was a quick metal recycling job ripping the old metal roof off like that, amazing to see what diesel power, a little hydraulic force and a good operator can accomplice in no time at all... that family is going to build their dream house there soon and start making memories and using the land... Justin needs new brakes, well...
I love watching these demo videos just as much as Chris loves doing them. I have lost count of the number of times that I have watched the old mobile home demom videos now. Simply brilliant !
Chris always enjoys these kinds of jobs. I bet that place had some history. Looks like a real sharecroppers house built by the sharecropper. Grandpa said never take the hay bales out or the barn will fall over. Glad you got some rain,,thought you would be burning down at the New Bern property.
Alien claw bucket crashing thru wall.. Got my attention. I was expecting to hear the piano play. Check those pockets! where Old people used to hide money. Wish I had those big oak limbs for firewood. That was quick work for you Chris.
Repeating what lots of other comments have said... the shot from inside the house where the bucket makes its entrance is truly scary. The size of that jaw suddenly becomes obvious when compared to the height of the room. Loving your work.
Awesome video loved I’d but as a wood worker who uses very little new material seeing all that heart pine get destroyed hurts my heart. So many times I’ve worked with wood that I have wondered what the story is behind the material I’m using. Some I know is 100 even 200 years old. Keep up the videos they are great. 👍
I've watched alot of abandoned house explores, but this is the first one I've seen where we have the explore, then the demo by the same person haha!! Love it! The shot of the bucket coming in was delightfully creepy. That WAS fun! 😊
Let's see....man and excavator vs 100 year old house. And the winner is... Loved that first shot of bucket coming through the wall! Have a great weekend, Chris!
that’s awesome! when the bucket comes through the window it’s like that scene in jaws when the boats sinking and the shark comes through the cabin and brody throws the scuba tank in it’s mouth!
Only thing lacking on that sudden intrusion shot into the house was the roar of the mighty T-Rex from Jurassic Park as he was side-eyeing someone for a tasty snack . Good lord that was tad startling! Loved it
Figured you'd get a lot more hate for killing the piano, having rescued one very similar I can tell everyone that sitting in an old unheated building, the strings will be incredibly rusty and will break if you try to tune it. I had to completely restring mine with all new felt and everything. But it doesn't hurt to check them. Some of the old ones had the sound board made of solid brass. Most were cast iron but if you luck out a few hundred pounds of brass is a nice score for scrap
Love demo day. Great getting those inside videos, looked like you were knocking on the front, like”hello, anyone home”. Oops…sorry, don’t know my own strength.🤣 Take care & cheers from 🐨🦘🥰
This video to the old house and the piano have my on the old song memory " the old House to....." how a good music to this demolition 🎶😅 if the Volvo shovel to snap and make firewood. Glad my on the continuation to this operation. You a good film producer. 👍😎🎶
I really enjoy watching your video's. Your professionalism and skills operating the machinery you can pick clothing in the closet also of going through the window into the house. The photography is awesome. 😀👍🔥
The first swipe with the shot from inside was great was like a T-Rex sticking his head in to see what was for dinner
Came here to say the same thing! Not only is that a great shot, but it gives you great perspective on how big that bucket is!
You are right, all the bucket needed was some eyes on it.
I was thinking, "hi honey, I'm home!"
I thought the same thing. A big T-Rex head on that bucket would be cool with red glowing eyes!
RIP headphone users. I just about jumped out of my seat.
I’m prolly just sentimental but there was something sad about the house coming down. No doubt it had to happen, but I thought about all of the memories made in each room.
Gonna be another 100 years of memories in the new one that takes its place.
That camera that was on the floor probably had some good pictures on it.
It was a piece of garbage ever if old and historic
yes it is someone put their whole lives in that house. like mine
I would have saved the piano and the photo that was on it.
That huge bucket coming in through the wall...I cannot help but hear, "Good morning...this is the front desk with your wake-up call."
I was going to say the same thing. Sure does give you a different perspective of how big that bucket is.
Godzirra! Godzirra! haha
I also thought the EXACT SAME THING!!!!
@@JamesB_JamesB That’s funny as heck!
@@snakerancher Couldn’t agree more. Thanks.
I’ve been watching for a while and never commented before. I like how you don’t talk over everything, no shouting, no constant laughing. I get to hear the steady rhythm of machines working. I enjoy your channel. Thanks for sharing.
Legend has it that long after a new house was built on certain nights you can still hear the sound of a piano playing Scott Joplin Rag time classics.
That first shot of the demo was awesome!! And the closet grab! 😂
The window was tougher than the wood it was in. It didn’t even break. Lol
The size of the bucket vs the bedroom was cool
Godzilla is coming.
@@sshatterhand239
More a T-Rex, perhaps…
What's the matter, Chris? Shirts were the wrong size???
LOL love the bucket going threw the window in the beginning.
You have out done yourself on this one! Thanks for bringing us along!
You dont realize how big that bucket is until it comes busting in like the Kool-Aid man lol.
Oh yeah
my house is a cabin that was relocated from the center of our town right to the edge. it was already an old run down cabin when the people "discovered" the land and decided to build a town there, and the person living in it had no idea how old it was. the town was finally founded in 1792 almost 230 years ago, meaning the wood is probably over 300 years old

I agree 100% this video had to be fun to edit
Lol…. LUV the bucket coming through the window!
I Absolutely love watching your videos!! Every one of them!! Especially when you make me laugh!! I pray for your safety every day. I’m 70 yrs old. They Lord say for us not to worry. So I pray for you every day. He has put you on my heart to pray for you. God be with you, Chris.
Doing what he does, I’m sure they are appreciated! Carry on, Ms. Carr!
2 things that I have learned about our Lord, 1st He is a Nice Guy, & 2nd, He likes Thank You Sir whenever & wherever we are
Have a good day
Watching most of your videos the size of the bucket looks small. Seeing it smash through the wall and window really brings it in to perspective.
Love your videos, keep them coming.
WOW the 220 was hungry today !!👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
Loved the inside view, actually got perspective on the 4’ bucket size!!! Thanks looks like a monster 👿
Your best demo video yet, Chris. The perspective from inside the house when the bucket comes crashing through is no less then spectacular. Removing a clothing rod (with clothes on it) with an excavator, Outstanding!!
Love the inside the house bucket through the window shot!! Nice work!!!
Chris, You TOPPED every DEMO video you have EVER done. DP should be jealous.
Everyone should be jealous watching the best ever
"Here's Chris!" I love demo day. Thanks for sharing.
HOME WRECKER !!! 😂😂 Loved when you "came out of the closet". 😂 Nice job Chris.
That crunch of the metal roof sounds like a tornado in a trailer park!!! LOL
HAHAHA Who says you cant do laundry with an excavator!! HAHAHAHA And it gets even better with the shot from inside the building!!!! LOVED IT
That bucket comming in is terrifying!! New phobia!!
I love exploring old abandon houses and building.
Just to see how people lived and what posable treasurers they left behind.
You definitely have some skills, love how you just picked up the clothes right out of the closet, really enjoy your videos, thanks for all the great content you put out
Such a beautiful old farm house!😀
Wow that buckets a monster. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love watching your videos, but as a crafter, I was going crazy looking at the beautiful wood and doors and thinking oh please let me grab some old stuff!! Oh well😳💜💜💜
Definitely your best shot yet as the bucket comes through the wall. 😁
5:30 bucket comes through the house...."Hi Honey I'm home!....Chris's version of The Shining.
was kinda expecting chris to make a shining reference. or a family guy reference lol
Well there’s a view we weren’t expecting. Yah, that old pine is gonna burn quick. Always enjoy demo days!
Fantastic video great shots from inside
I remember deconstructing a house like that just to get the tongue and groove heart pine. It was beautiful wood
Yes, lots of useable lumber.
In today's world, time is money.
I was wondering why they didn’t save more of the wood, considering the price and poor quality of lumber now. But yeah, it would take a while to deconstruct.

Definitely in the top five rankings for speedy demolitions!
Watching demo is always fun, but that shot of the bucket smashing through the window was Hollywood-level epic stuff.
Put LD18 and the Volvo 220 together and the result is fun to watch especially with the delicate removal of the clothes. Loved it. Thanks Chris.
Your kind of good at this old house demolition I see and most of your time will be spent moving that waste into that pit you built and be happy there is no mud and that was a neat closet rack removal and enjoy your shelf at work.
MY husband and i thought that was awesome to see the bucket come through the window. Loved it.
The inside demo shot is the best. All quiet then BAM haha.
I love the demolition shots from the inside of the house. It gives an entirely different perspective of it. 😎👍
shot of the year seeing that huge bucket come through the window, that just looked awesome and good advertisement for AMI... that was a quick metal recycling job ripping the old metal roof off like that, amazing to see what diesel power, a little hydraulic force and a good operator can accomplice in no time at all... that family is going to build their dream house there soon and start making memories and using the land... That inside camera shot just put the size of that bucket in perspective. Awesome .
Alien claw bucket crashing thru wall.. Got my attention. I was expecting to hear the piano play. Check those pockets! where Old people used to hide money. Wish I had those big oak limbs for firewood. That was quick work for you Chris.
_"... just kidding."_ No you're not! haha ha🤣
Awesome shot of bucket coming through the wall. Really shows how massive it is too
Our old house was a dog trot that was added on to 3 times. Kinda like this one. Heart pine in the original.
Mega cool shot from inside!!! :D
Thanks for the upload Chris, hope to see part 2.Great work as always 👍🏻
Repeating what lots of other comments have said... the shot from inside the house where the bucket makes its entrance is truly scary. The size of that jaw suddenly becomes obvious when compared to the height of the room.
Loving your work.
Wow Chris is posting after 9PM EST. Love the shot of the bucket coming threw the window.
Man, that 220 will flat out move dirt! Hope you have a great weekend Chris
Seeing the bucket come through the window, really gives it a sense of scale! You keep saying it's big! It is! Thanks for a great video!
Awsome! Sounds so real and crisp, like crispy critters. Thrilling distruction derby. A movie in the making. Great job.
That was one of your best videos yet, .. smiles ear to ear!! Looks like you enjoyed that. I did … 😂👍
You don't see that very often, a huge bucket coming through your living room window. Nice shot, I liked seeing that view!
SPECTACULAR inside shot! I even kinda flinched when the bucket came in the window!! 😳
The way Chris kicked that door in got my heart beat going.Chris should have saved that piano and took to a antique store
After 22 years of humidity in an old leaking farm house it was likely warped and not worth repairing.
That first grab was something out of Hollywood. Brilliant :)
Awesome video loved I’d but as a wood worker who uses very little new material seeing all that heart pine get destroyed hurts my heart. Matt Cremona rented a 3 ton digger and helped me appreciate what Mike and You make look so easy.
5:31 one truly doesn't appreciate the scale of the machines you run everyday, until you do a "Heeeere's Johnny!" with the bucket! Well done
Oh my goodness, that was an awesome view of that bucket coming through the windows!!
And it really shows how big the bucket is. 😮
That was fun ... 🤣🤣🤣 Looked like a alien breaking into the house ... 👀👀👀
Chris you look like you were having fun!
I wish i could come cut those up. I still have the 32 inch bar on my saw, I think
That bucket coming through the window may be the greatest thing Ive ever seen It looked like T Rex🤣
I've watched alot of abandoned house explores, but this is the first one I've seen where we have the explore, then the demo by the same person haha!! Love it! The shot of the bucket coming in was delightfully creepy. That WAS fun! 😊
So satisfying, my dad did this demo work when I was young. Thanks for bringing back memories. :)
Your granddaddy gotta be proud with what yall have done with this company, always busy and doing excellent work 👍
Let's see....man and excavator vs 100 year old house. And the winner is...
Loved that first shot of bucket coming through the wall!
Have a great weekend, Chris!
The last house I set fire to.we found over $10,000.00 worth of craftman tools. Great find
Coffee and demo on a Sunday morning, priceless. Love the inside house view of the bucket crashing in😊.
5:30 proves that despite his laid back demeanor, Chris really knows how to make an entrance.
that’s awesome! when the bucket comes through the window it’s like that scene in jaws when the boats sinking and the shark comes through the cabin and brody throws the scuba tank in it’s mouth!
Only thing lacking on that sudden intrusion shot into the house was the roar of the mighty T-Rex from Jurassic Park as he was side-eyeing someone for a tasty snack
. Good lord that was tad startling! Loved it
Great video Chris. Love the internal view's especially when the bucket smashes through for the first time. Take care.
Figured you'd get a lot more hate for killing the piano, having rescued one very similar I can tell everyone that sitting in an old unheated building, the strings will be incredibly rusty and will break if you try to tune it. Nice! Great camera angles! Always love demo work!
That was a great shot Chris that great big bucket coming through the window.
I have in the past watch all of letsdig18 demos jobs on a rainy day.
This video to the old house and the piano have my on the old song memory " the old House to....." how a good music to this demolition 🎶😅 if the Volvo shovel to snap and make firewood. Glad my on the continuation to this operation. You a good film producer. 👍😎🎶
I never fully appreciated the size of that bucket. Terrific interior shots.
It’s hard to tell how big the bucket is on camera lol 😅
Awesome video! Like the inside view with the bucket coming through the window.
FAVORITE kinda project, DEMO! 😎🤗💕👍 P.S. Appreciate the different camera angles.
I laughed so hard when the bucket came through the window....Classic Chris
5:30 i imagined you being in one of those fixer upper shows going oh yea, i was thinking of making this area a more open floor plan.
The sound of that tin roof crunching up is so satisfying 😁
Heeerrreeess Johny! love the interior shots.
I love the sound a tree makes when it hits the ground. Wham!!
Great camera view inside the house as bucket crashes through! It really shows the actual size.
I really enjoy watching your video's. Your professionalism and skills operating the machinery you can pick clothing in the closet also of going through the window into the house. The photography is awesome. 😀👍🔥
Love the indoor camera shots! And the closet removal lol!
Thanks for the house tour before you went to work on it. I always enjoyed demo days with you and Tim looking at what was left..
Imagine the stories his house could tell. So glad some of the history…some of the house was salvaged.
Fun video!
