Throughly enjoyed that long video, I’m truly impressed with how much work you get done in a day. Excellent planning, adapting to conditions and being able to run all these machines so effectively is a real skill. 👍
That’s what I love about your project’s/ videos Chris, whenever you start something, I think “ how the hell is he gonna do that” & then you just go ahead & do it, thanks Chris, keep em comin 👍
It's like being a part of the team the way you include us in the project. Love being along for the ride and seeing how it's done right. I had not noticed the length of the video till I was reading others comments.. I too know it's a lot of work on your part to give us this view into your work. I, like all the rest, appreciate your efforts very much. Thank You Sir!
Well...that was the best "ONE MAN BAND" I ever saw, Chris! 🤣 A lot accomplished! The segment from the excavator loading the haul truck was TOPS. Gave us the OPERATOR'S PERSPECTIVE, appreciated! 👍 Glad you were doing those side hill dumps...they look tricky. 😳👏
Chris, being a one man show today shows how versatile you are with all the equipment. A very difficult job to say the least. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride, from virtually every angle. Many thanks. Super job.
Unbelievable Chris, you are definitely the Michaelangelo of operating excavation equipment and molding clay and dirt into a strongly built pond damn. I highly doubt that there's anyone for a couple of hundred miles around you who comes even close to as talented as you are at your chosen profession. Forget those fake unreality tv shows. Your vlogs are WTF better and far more fascinating to watch. And no mind-numbing long commercial breaks. Thanks for the pleasure after a long day of schedules at the Miami VA.
You get more done by yourself in one day…then most full crews. Once you’ve taken that mental pic of the end result in your mind, it’s like you’re alway thinking 3 steps ahead, and then just grind til the jobs done. You are a true pond building Jedi!
Chris can switch gears from one machine to the next and decide how he going to do that part of the job at the same time. Getting some with those skills is hard. Thank you for video you did all this work and probably edit that night.
Chris, I am an artist that paints landscapes and many other things, but watching you with your excavator at hand makes me think, you too are an artist, for you start a job, you see the end results as you are working the very same as a painter, so I perceive you as an artist, have always enjoyed the show, please keep em' coming, thanks...
I enjoy these videos that show the entire process of repairing or building pond dams. Also videos of the complete process of preparing and installing overflows are my favorite. Also an hour long video is not too long😊. Your narrations are very informative, even though I’m not in your field of work, I’m a retired Mechanical Engineer.
Man you truly do make the best excavating videos on YT, that mud hole never stood a chance against the #amibucket, gonna look freaking awesome when your done, thanks for sharing everyday Chris, 💪🇺🇸
A cool beverage and a long letsdig18 video. Can't beat that. That mud hole took a lot of work to dig out but it looks 100 times better than it did. That dam could hold an extra 10 acres of water now.
Give a good man the right tools (machines) and look at what he can achieve in a day, Nice one Cris, That makes loading a bit easier when you can get above it, An enjoyable 51 mins, Thanks Cris.
It's astonishing the amount of work you can get accomplished in a single day. I deeply appreciate the 51 minute video of which I watched every second at normal speed. Thank you, Chris! Man that Dam is going to be beautiful!! VERY WELL DONE, Sir!!
I do appreciate all of the work that you put into making a good video. You already have a lot to think about and then you add to it by making sure we enjoy.
You got quite a bit done by yourself Chris, Got everything set up for the next day anyway, and that's a big jump with all that already out of the way... Man, that was a good shot of the skid steer when you was pushing off that dirt !! Great as always , Have a Great Evening !! And on too the Next...
Really enjoyed the video. And the icing on the cake it getting to see all the vehicles waiting the the maestro to continue creating another symphony!🤩👏
Watching you work the skid steer down in the cut made me think of Wall.E. lol. That whole portion of the deconstruction & rebuild was fascinating. Sir, you are one hard worker and fun to watch.
I have a thing about redoing things that weren't done right the first time. All too many people want to save a buck and cut corners, not realizing that the buck they saved will cost them thousands of more bucks down the road. I have turned down countless remodel jobs because something wasn't done right the first time. What a shame. And when you've had enough of that rain, send it back to Colorado where it should be, hahahaha. You are definitely a one man show!! Love it!!! Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan
Chris Wow that is alot of dirt moving 😳 and the hole where the overflow was what a massive hole I can only imagine what that looked like in person. Doing a Awesome job as always. Thanks for the video and Take Care Brother. Until tomorrow have a Blessed night
Preparation, preparation, preparation,= production, one can clearly see why your projects go as well as they do, I admire that young man. The haul truck not only looks nice , but seems to operate well also, having access to a truck like that has to speed up the process . Thanks for the ride along.
Man that is crazy when you moving the dirt into the cut, a long way down. :) The road is going to be interesting for the haul truck. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
A retired operator here, I admire the skill you have operating your machine’s. Mostly I enjoy seeing the maximum effort you put into the job large or small!
I listened to you saying make the slopes mowable when I made my pond dam. I can comfortably run my tractor in lines parallel to the water edge over the whole dam.
I got wise to weather people a long time ago. I don't listen to him. I open my blind in the morning and see what the days like and go from there. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
@@letsdig18 Hey Chris, Ryan Hall Yall on TH-cam is a great source for a good advance picture of what is coming. He knew you were in the clear until about Wednesday over a week ago. Had this storm in Texas today and moving through this week but mostly south of you until Wed or Thurs. Better hurry. Days like today he is live streaming the dangerous storms in real time, but in between he shows the forecasts and hits way better than local news.
Im always glad to see your channel come up. And amazed what you can do while I sleep on the other side of the planet. Now coffee and cereal with the best reality show.
Chris I would like to say I have been a long time follower an I would like to meet you in the future you remind me of exactly myself growing up. I watch everyday and if you ever happen to be coming to Alabama an maybe as far as Oxford or Anniston let me know an I will meet you. I appreciate your time and enjoy all of your videos.
I enjoy Chris' videos for the variety of the work in each project, his operator skills (note how the machine never stops moving - fluid and efficient motion) and how he's alway thinking ahead - about where to dig from and where to put it for the most efficient next move. And of course the big picture .... Chris already knows what the finished project will look like before he even starts. Then there is the final video itself ... very good quality, interesting camera positions, just the right amount of each activity to maintain viewer interst. And finally a proud representation of the true America/n to the rest of the world ... so much better than the view of America that "THE MEDIA" shows us. Thanks Chris, fom the west Downunder🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Man Chris I have to admit this job has been pleasant to watch. This was a huge job, heck you might be buying more equipment lol.. laying all kidding aside this job is really showing your expertise. I know one thing I'm a Ole man but if I ever hit the lottery I'm gonna buy me some land build a big lake, and I don't know what state it will be in but if I have to haul all your equipment myself and pay your motel expenses plus your regular pay it would be well worth it knowing that you hired the absolute best man for the job. I'm really going to hate seeing this job finished
You get to play with all the yellow toys today. Even without your team you sure accomplished a lot of dirt moving today. Wishing you and your team a great week. Thanks for sharing this video. Cheers
Amazing video!!! Luv seeing all equipment working and ur experience hopping from one machine to another. Blessings and prayers for your safety. When u dived over edge with skidloader, skipped heartbeat here.
I enjoy watching your videos. You were the first I subscribed to on TH-cam. I've been going back and watching some of your projects from 3 to 5 years ago. You do great work . Just wish I could see more even if it's time elapsed.
Enjoy watching you transform into a nice beautiful landscape. I noticed when you were digging out the old pipe I seen some 8x8x16 blocks they must have had the pipe sitting on them thanks for taking time doing the video
Hi from uk chris 👍👋 hope alls goin well👍 loved watching the clay being bladed as you could tell was holding its own the way was rolling of blade on kamatsu but never the less when you couldnt cut it with the skidsteer (I laughed with you too )👌😂 cant wait till all done and looks fresh👍 but a keep forgetting about all stone and concrete rubish at far side until you remind me its there still (I get heartburn everytime I see it😂🙈) pmsl pity wasnt bigger sections could of used as dissapater pad on overflow, thanks for your time and be safe see you👍👋
You got a lot done for it just being you on the job this day. I’ve never done any dirt work with a dozer and I’ve never operated an excavator but I’ve learned a lot by watching your videos. I’ve done some light dirt work with tractors but that don’t compare to the equipment you use.
BEST 30 MINUTES OF MY DAY seeing jobs get done right. GREAT advertisement for potential customers your attention to detail. For me it's kinda like the mystery channel where I never really know what your doing until the end and it's always a happy ending. Great work. You might not believe this but I keep track of how many scoops per load just to get an average and my mind is constantly calculating. After careful and studious pencil to paper number crunching have estimated you and your skill level and a great machine are doing the work of 100 men a day without machines! All by yourself. I never seen a bucket suck up that much dirt! Any bigger job you'd had to get Big Betty out there! That's some good looking soil. There aught to be a way to sell a few truck loads of that help you and the customer out on the back end... Psalm 19
Didn't realize how deep the hole was until you had the skid steer in there. You sure do get a lot of work done by yourself Chris. I know one thing for sure, I don't know any younger people that has the work ethic that you do. Love the videos, keep up the good work.

Really good video,it’s amazing what people did back when to construct all types of projects.they used what they had and I guess they hoped it would last maybe.keep doing what your doing 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
I know these long-form videos are a lot of work for you, Chris. But I really enjoy seeing it all come together, all 51 minutes worth!

Worked alone all day, still ran all 5 machines you have on site. Never ceases to amaze me the skill you have across the various machines.

Great camera angle of the SkidSteer pushing clay into the pit. Movie quality. 👍
The camera shot with the clay coming down like a waterfall was well done. Thanks for going to the trouble to find a unique viewing angle, Chris.
The skid steer is a very handy little machine.
You made a huge difference all on your own today, Chris !
Chris, being a one man show today shows how versatile you are with all the equipment. A very difficult job to say the least. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride, from virtually every angle. Many thanks. Super job.
True, The way and speed at which he operates the skid steer was impressive. He is so good with all his toys
