my laptop literally fell frm my bed on its display side and i had no hopes of it surviving but this beast of a laptop survived it with no damages and no scratches typing this frm da laptop itself
It’s a beast of a machine was in pouring rain directly into the fans and motherboard for 3 hours and still survived when I booted without knowing it had water inside I got to know that my mom had accidentally left the window open and the laptop was on a stand so directly in the fans for 3 hours heavy rain and booted first try after 5 hours
I had a FX553VD as well back in 2017 but I found it was a little slow when loading or having lots of tabs open for university, I switched to the ROG Strix Gl55VD in 2020 which was an amazingly strong computer which I had until I dropped it for the first and last time and smashed the corner right off and caused a black screen (I still use it with an external monitor for other tasks). I now have the TUF707R, and the performance is overall an upgrade from my GL55VD besides a minor drop in graphic quality. FX553VD was honestly a great computer and I'm glad you're making it work and getting your money's worth out of it
Hello, I recently purchased an ASUS TUF gaming laptop. However, yesterday while I was using it, the battery drained completely, causing it to shut down unexpectedly. Upon plugging it in for charging, I noticed that although the charging symbol appears, the battery isn't actually charging. Additionally, it keeps shutting down just two minutes after I power it on. Can anyone advise me on what steps I should take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue?
@@LQR1772 sadly yes, they usually cheap out on the heat pipes on the tuf. The rog strix are better but a lot more expensive. (Those are good temps, mine hits the 90s 🥵)
@@marvenawad5360 i see my friends and other have a same excat promblems with this laptop,This laptop has a lot of problems after I researched it more deeply because I really wanted to buy this laptop but for some reason I didn't think it was worth buying, my friend ASUS TUF laptop fell 1.5m and the laptop died and couldn't be power on, there was people whose laptops die because of the battery, there are also people whose batteries won't charge, and maybe the military grade is just bulshit

bro, you are blessed. i bought an acer nitro 5, it felt similar height, but the whole mainboard is dead bro, smh. im gonna be asus fan from now on lol
I like the durability. I once forgot to zip up my bag. It caused the laptop to drop very hard but it no any damage
So I purchased a ASU’s turf f15 and I by mistake after having it for 10 mounts dropped tea on it and on gods miracle it survived and I let it dry
Good choice
Tea was with sugar? and how much did you spill?
and already survived until now?

I have this laptop and trust me its an absolute beast
do you guys do thi for strix laptops?
I'm sure strix laptops are more durable
Why does the keyboard heats too much?
Just lower the power plan to 80% it will be very stable and no heat issue
@@mr.gamesailor611 Thank you very much.
I already have FX553VD, still going strong since 2017

If only it was even more elegant, like a minimalistic suit, yet covered in solid armor.

Heat is actually a feature 😂
Gaming and Laptop don go together bro... Heat is always a feature 😂... I own this, doesn't heat that much(75°C cpu and 65°C gpu)

I made such a bad decision for not buying this instead
Could be worse. I bought nintendo switch instead of laptop.
not strong as marketed. My laptop hinges broken within 8 months of light use
Terrible laptop. You'd regret buying it.
