When was the last time you felt God was with you in the midst of a problem? Tell us the story 🍿
One of the worst experiences I have faced was when I became a widow. Yes, my husband was 90. Yes, we had been married just short of 58 years. Yes, my life would be easier when not being the caregiver. But. But. But. I lost my best friend. Not true! I didn’t lose the Trinity God! Next month will be 2 years. I didn’t realize that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are so real and present every moment. I give God the permission to interrupt me with God’s Best Plan for each day. No, I don’t always listen or obey, but I KNOW I’m not alone. It is moment by moment and ALWAYS dependable. You can absolutely depend on God - each and every moment!
What a lovely tribute. Thank you so much for taking this journey with us, and thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Rob
Dear One, thanks for this profound testimony. I too, am a widow. July 3, will be four years. Was married 64 years to a great man of God, who like me was a redeemed sinner. Every word you wrote could have been penned by me. You and I are so blessed to continue in the life He is giving us to be able to know Him more, walk with Him each step of the way every day as we desire to do His good Will. God bless you and continue to delight your heart and soul.
Dr. Willard said he would wake up in the wee hours and repeat the Lord’s Prayer or Psalm 23 so I began the same practice when I awake at night. It occurred to me this morning at 3am that in this psalm, no action from me is required except to receive. The Father is leading, protecting, correcting, and providing me with an over abundance of his presence and provision.
The 23rd Psalm is a peace walk with Jesus' presence and provision. So grateful for you sharing your heart. Bucky
God was with me through my 1st husband's illness and eventual death for 20 years. There is no way I would have made it through without Him.
Deep! “Sometimes God saves us from the battle… Other times he meets us in the battle!” Loved. The thought of all of us being beginners. Freeing!
Lindsay, we can all be comforted with the knowledge that we never have to do this alone! Thank you for being such a faithful follower.

This video was just too filling and beautiful to describe.
The last time God clearly spoke to me was at 5:30 one morning this week. I was gently reminded that this weighty task I have faced for 1.5 years was not PUT ON me. Rather, it was an honor bestowed on me. I see that is true because I have seen God working and showing up in ways that change and bless me and others. I have become grateful for this opportunity but I confess that I allow the weight of it to put me down from time to time and have to ask for new eyes to see. At 5:30 this week refreshment came. It is the coolest thing EVER to have that comfort wash over and through.
John, thank you for this video. Gave me the goosies. 😊
Ginger, thank you for sharing, it's always such a beautiful thing when we are aware that God shows up!

Yes, God meets us/me in the furnace!
I attend a cancer survivor group. I have seen my brothers and sisters in Christ battling their tumors and it has made them great. Those tumors are the opponents that have extended their souls. Merging Jesus' story with ours lets us take on our most serious problems.
Resting in God's presence as we journey the valleys and hilltops of our stories - makes us stronger knowing we are not on our journey alone. Blessings Bucky
I regularly feel Gods presence especially when I bring Him my struggles. Often times it’s the words and wisdom and warmth felt here in these videos:)!
Thank you for taking this journey with us, Darin!

A line from an old hymn popped into my head at the end of this one...
🎵This is my story, this is my song - praising My Savior all the day long ❤
I love this hymn!
Blessed Assurance by Francis J Crosby is a timeless treasure. Blessings Bucky

What a great summary of an amazing life! Thanks, thanks, thanks, John!
Thanks for listening, Larry, we appreciate you!

Sometimes he meets us in the furnace. I need to read the book John referenced. Not a light read but, I suspect, life changing.
Yes, Susan, and we know he meets us in our need. Thank you for watching and sharing!
Rob
❤Thank you!
Regularly, when my periodically unreasonably critical husband goes on a tear, I invoke the Holy Spirit and tune out the rant. SO many times it stops the situation in it's tracks when he realizes I am praying. And if he doesn't, I am always filled with peace to wait for the storm to pass. The life and times of loving and living with someone on the spectrum.
We are also so thankful for the Holy Spirit's peace and power. - Brad
Wow!🙏
Loved this episode! It has left me with thoughts of my own that I have to put on paper. My Life(Story) is one that I must face with great athleticism. I have been through a lot and sometimes I forget how far Ive come from to be where Im at this moment. I have to learn to forgive not others but myself.
