thank you for taking my recommendation :D higurashi is a 8 part visual novel series, and it's my favourite story of all time, it's a mystery visual novel with some horror elements, it's also a very sad story, and yet it's very beautiful and uplifting at the same time, the series consists of 4 question arcs, which serve as the foundation of all the questions in the story, and 4 answer arcs, which serve to answer these questions in a narrative way, higurashi is a very emotional story, the most emotional story I've ever seen, and I'm not ashamed to admit that i cried reading it more than i did for the past 10 years, it's the kind of story you only get to experience once, and it's one of the only stories i can't pick flaws with, and even if there were some flaws, the positives far overpower them, and speaking of the track "you" listened to (pun intended), it's indeed the main motif, it's used in many other tracks, and it also has its own vocal version, the track gives that feel that life goes on, even with all the sad stuff that happens, there will always be hope, there are always good things to look forward to in life despite everything, which is why the song has this sad melancholic yet almost hopeful tone to it, that's just life, with all its difficulties, there's always beauty in it man i yapped for too long there, thanks again for reacting to this, i hope you one day get to experience higurashi yourself, it's the kind of story a lot of people need in their life
8 parts?? Wow! I knew it had to be something great with how much you fell in love with it. Ah of course this is the main motif! I should've known; it sounded quite important xD this game definitely seems very interesting; I hope to one day get to play it or experience it myself in some way. Thanks again for the request ^^
00:52 And Umineko is done by the same creators! It's also part of the "When they Cry" franchise. It's a really good sign of quality for 07th Expansion! Videos like this remind me of how interesting it is with all the different versions of Higurashi. I own the Steam version and there are only about 20 tracks on the OST (that I know of. Haven't got through it yet). As an example, this track is not on the Steam OST. The Steam version has no OP either. However, the first OST playlist you'll find for Higurashi on YT has 139 tracks. There's apparently another version on Mangagamer, and there are several mods for whichever version you do have. It's all a bit confusing to me, since I'm new to it. But if you ever DID want to try it, make sure to do your research on which version you think would be best. Interesting, though: Higurashi, Chaos;Child, Trails... I wonder if you'd be interested in LHCollider, who's played all of these, and who I recently learnt about Higurashi and Chaos;Child from. Funny how a few creators I've come across have started talking about similar franchises, evn ones completely different to each other! ...Oh also I thought the song was great too!
