And nothing on either of those first two Northern Exposure albums can compare with the mastery and technical prowess of Involver 1. They would tell you the same thing; they were just scratching the surface in 96'. But all of those albums deserve to be in the "Hall of Fame."
One of the finest mixes ever made. For travelling on your lonesome get it on and lose yourself. So many bus trips staring out windows with this. Emotional stuff.

Possibly the best electronic album of all time. Heard this album in 2004 when I was 14 years old. Changed everything for me. Unfortunately Involver 2 & 3 don't even come close.
I bought a promo copy of this from a second-hand record store in Manchester probably the year it was released (can't believe that 2004 is now 13 years ago, but that's another story). The opening track captivated me and still does. One of the best pieces of dark progressive house I've ever heard with a mesmerising beat. My copy had a digitised voiceover saying "Global Underground - promotional copy" which for me feels like an integral part of the song! Overall I suppose the album is a little bit inconsistent style-wise - it's all good, but it jumps around a bit stylistically in the second half. But it's a brilliant listen. Hasn't aged at all.
I used to hear this full album all the time,never get tired of it! Sasha it's just an icon in the universe of music & the well done mixing! Sasha, you've got it dude!
HDC Certainly not better than Involver, but also thoroughly impressive imho: Four Tet's Fabriclive (techno, UK garage), the DJ-Kicks editions mixed by John Talabot (downtempo house) and Motor City Drum Ensemble (soul, house), and The Grandfather Paradox by Âme, Dixon and Henrik Schwarz (differnt kinds of minimal music).

The magic of Sasha. In my mind he is so far ahead of his time. I really wasn't keen on this when I first heard it, but I've found this is the case with most of Sasha's albums. I heard Sasha play in Baltimore, and the last track he played was On My Own. Involver hadn't been released yet so nobody recognized his version. What an amazing scene. He walked through the crowd after and I was able to meet him. Super humble guy.

One of sasha's best imo....superb.
The magic of Sasha. In my mind he is so far ahead of his time. I really wasn't keen on this when I first heard it, but I've found this is the case with most of Sasha's albums. It's not till now years later I can listen to it and appreciate the genius behind and how mind blowing the tunes are. Incidentally he recently blew my mind at Creamfields North. Was almost at late 90's early naughties speed. Incredible. You never know what you're gonna get with "the man like"

I heard Sasha play in Baltimore, and the last track he played was On My Own. Involver hadn't been released yet so nobody recognized his version. What an amazing scene. He walked through the crowd after and I was able to meet him. Super humble guy.
I remember when I bought the CD in 2004 it was amazing, it's 2018 and it's still amazing.
more than 10 years have passed since this was released, and I still listen to this, day by day!! Thank you Sasha!!

I loved this album when it came out. Just so well put together. Saw Sasha doing his Involver tour in Auckland New Zealand after a Groove Amada Gig. One of the best nights ever....Fucking legend
