    I agree that the work space gets smaller and smaller! I have to have a clear up just so I have space to work! I have an idea for making smaller artworks: do one large painting and then cut it down into smaller pieces. The original artworks could then be mounted into cards with apertures and would be suitable for a person to frame. Just thinking aloud really - I may do this myself! 😊

    3:07 so true! 😂
    Art materials are alive, they just want to be close... 🥰
    Thank you for sharing the way you do, it's incredibly inspiring on many levels. Waking up some things inside that have been asleep for waay to long.

    I would say that I’m left with about 5-10 percent of working space on my table at any given time.
    Keep going!!!

    I'm so glad I found your channel. I've binge watched for the past few days and your work has inspired me on so many levels. I've started painting with watercolors and now gouache for studying color and how it plays with it's neighbor. My medium choice is wool fabric, yarn, and velvets. I am a textile artist creating hooked rugs. Thank you for sharing and providing the encouragement to "Play"!

    Oh my goodness, your cards are just so sweet. And I absolutely adore the large square size, which I rarely see here in North America. I had to laugh when you asked whether anyone else has the problem of a fairly decent size workspace, but only a tiny space to actually work in because it's cluttered with supplies. Oh my goodness, I battle with this every day! Sigh... Does it ever get better??? Nowadays I do try to clear off my worktable before I begin, but I keep losing this battle... 🙂

      I used to think that if only I had more space, that would answer the problem, but now I accept the pattern...fill the space....clear the space !!!

    A little space on your work table is enough for the meandering fluid thought process of your artistic creations. Like the one raindrop that begins the storm.

    Beautiful cards Gaynor - made with love, care and attention - an antidote to mass production. Though I appreciate then, the problems of time spent on production to the amount that you can actually charge for a card. Theses would be special cards for special people 🙂 Can I ask where you source your cards, envelopes and cellos please? TIA

    • @gaynorpattle
      @gaynorpattle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Tricia and thank you for such kind words. I am constantly on the look out for card stock now and am working through a pack of 6 x 6 cards found on amazon together with cellos. I am taking inspiration from your thoughts on time/cost and will try to address these points in a video. I will dig out my receipt for more info on card weight/brand etc. Thank you

I originally bought from Amazon, then they became unavailable - I haven't checked for a little while. If I can't find them in the future, I will go for something as close as possible !! 😊
