Fantastic entry bike. I have same, Suzuki VL Intruder Classic. 2013 Gunmetal Grey. Will do the same for a bit more sound. The Harley's drown me out nirmally but when on your own it's good to be heard. Got my L's at 60, loving it😊. Stay upright!
I daily ride a '91 FJ1200, but i still get a kick outa riding my '08 VL250. Mine had the huge cannon muffler, i removed it and fitted a pair of black Turn-out drag pipes (bought from wish 😂). Looks way better, sounds awesome too. LOUD!. Your pipes look sweet, nice sound too.
+rico9955 just take it easy. Start in local strets slow and steady and venture out wards slowly as you get more confident and familiar with the bike. Step by step you will start enjoying it more and over thinking less. Just dont ride out of your comfort level
best sounding 250 I've heard. I can't afford the $750 for pipes so going to debaffle the original bazooka muffler and shorten it 12 inches hopefully sound closer to yours. Cheers :)
Thanks for your reference to the exhaust shop, I live on the Sunshine Coast and I’m after a bit more sound to my 2006 model of this bike 🙂. Also trying to find racks & brackets for future saddlebag addition so if you have recommendations for those too I’d love to hear them!

ARagingMeerkat Productions i will hose it down if real dirty, dry it off then use a spray on wipe off polish/cleaner. If its just dusty ill just use the spray on wipe off. Have two micro fiber gloves to one for wiping on one for wiping off. Make sure u take any rings off you fingers as they will scratch through the cloth...i found out the hard way

No worries. unfortunately I don't have any dimensions or specs for that exhaust however show the what they look like and you would just have to chose if they have baffles or not and the size of end pipes

Lol matt. Yeah the pipes are great the video doesn't do them justice but my neighbors could vouch for it haha.

Yea I ripped out the end with chisel and hammer and yanked back and forth the middle baffle. So fucken loud when accelerating sounds THROATEEEHHH

Paid about 5k a few years back with very low ks great lil bike to learn limited power though you will want to upgrade eventually

great choice to start with. this has custom pipes fitted most exhaust shops should be able to do you a qoute. mine cost about $700au
