Making Custom Trike 250cc

- To build this trike, I used 10-inch road wheels from a Suzuki Ltz 400 quad bike. The engine is 250cc, a similar engine I used when building the first trike.
The low weight and 250cc capacity make the trike have quite nice performance, it is great for fun, but also for everyday driving.

Awesomely impressive workmanship!! I dream of having the tools for fabricating like that. Very well done! 👍👍
What a dream! Actually, you're living the dream (meaning you built a great life for you and your family)! In 5 years of your channel your fabrication and video editing skills have went through the roof! I could not imagine a more professionally-made project, simply outstanding. Thank you for continuing to share your genius with us!!!!

Thank you 😁
This is the big red they should have built back in the 70's. Nicely done.
Great design, it sits low enough that it doesn't look like it will have the tipping issue that the now banned ATV trikes had. I have a pair of salvaged Ninja 250r bikes that I will use in a similar build but will convert to a rear end like yours. I actually have one LTZ400 quad to use as the rear end, although I will probably adapt the Ninja swingarm to use for rear suspension. Right after I build about a half dozen of your DIY metal working tools.
Zbuduj sobie ten koncik i się baw w nim dobrze 😀
I'd love to see you go back and add a Peerless 100-224 differential so you don't get injured hanging a corner improperly. Otherwise, outstanding build.
I liked the way the video started out by poking fun at the people who find equipment in the woods
Great build/design/editing and humor! I also love seeing past projects being used so effectively.
Question: would you change anything now that you're finished and have ridden for a bit? God bless.
Thank you 😁 Each project requires some refinement, but most of all I would like to change the engine to a Japanese one, because this engine is not bad but I would prefer a little more power 😁
You've motivated my motivation😮 great job
Did a nice job ...only seen these with a 5 hp engines on them. You took it to the next level with electric start and front brakes and a nice size tank, BEAUTIFUL PAINT JOB TOO .
Thank you 😁
What an awesome little build . Great results aswel. The thing I like the most is you show enough fabrication to show how its built but not too much to bore us . The assembly is perfect all hidden extras done and dusted . Reminds me of the old Honda big red trike with the big front wheel . Thanks
Thank you 😁
I wish they would bring 3 wheelers back. THE BEST times of my life were riding and racing 3 wheelers.
There's probably nothing more satisfying than building your own motorized vehicle from scratch.
I wish I knew someone like you that could give my son's an apprenticeship once you've learnt those skills your set for life is pay you to teach my lads I really would
Special talent,total knowledge, superb skill
Very nice project, even though a 3 wheeler is the most unstable dangerous ATV out there! LOL! I love the no nonsense build. You did a fantastic job, thank you.
😂 3 wheels is for person who would try riding motorcycle with gears for the 1st time.
Right at about 16:45 😂😂😂😂
😂 I wish it was that easy to go around and gather the parts I need LOL
You're working knowledge and fabrication skills are on point my friend I would definitely commission you to build a few mini trikes
Obrigado 😁
Let's see: MIG, TIG, home fabrication, electrical, paint, precision machine work, line up, hydraulics. Wow. Double wow! Dude is talented to put it VERY mildly.
Thank you 😁
I want to make this!
All I’m missing is!
Tools!
Parts!
Skill!
Knowledge!
Space!
I stand with you 💯😂
High level skills.👍
i like how he just magically found all the parts for it in the open forest. it was so cheesy but super funny as welll , it came out awesome!!!
LOVE this video. A great laugh at 16:34. Coming from a metal fabricator you have given me flashbacks of when I started. Keep up the great work
You are an Awesome Bespoke Builder, I just love you work style and Workshop
Dude should have his own factory amazing build
The most amazing thing is that you make it look so easy, and I bet once you know how to work your machinery it IS that easy to do, and imagination is the only roadblock.
Wow that is hands down the best workmanship skill I have seen to date. Superb job using your tools and making a super fun dream bike !!!
Thank you 😁
As pothole detectors go, this is a really good one. I'd love to see you dream up something like this, but with two wheels.
Premium quality as we've come to expect from you! Another machine built to last for generations!
Spectacular!
That motor wont last a year let alone generations...
reat design, it sits low enough that it doesn't look like it will have the tipping issue that the now banned ATV trikes had. I have a pair of salvaged Ninja 250r bikes that I will use in a similar build but will convert to a rear end like yours. I actually have one LTZ400 quad to use as the rear end, although I will probably adapt the Ninja swingarm to use for rear suspension. Very impressive work sir! Very inspiring as well. I love that you enjoy your hard work at the end of the day(s). And your camera team and editors are awesome too!
Sick build, enjoyed watching the video. How long did it take start to finish?
this is the first time i've seen a youtube builder do it right and "spot" the set screw in place.
to 'spot' a set screw they drill a small portion of the shaft for the set screw to go into to better keel parts from slipping.
i'm not sure why more people just don't know about this, or maybe they just don't care.
There aren't enough words to express the genius behind the video. Your engineering and thought process to take something from nothing. I had to make sure that it was still the same video. Your fabrication skills are beyond. If only I had half your skills. Hats off to you Sir.
Wish I had the skills to harvest wild, free-range tires. Cool build sir! 🤘😎

Swietna robota, efekt powalajacy!
Very nice build! You have a nice setup in your shop, your skills with the plasma are amazing.
Everyone knows that wheels grown in the wild are so much better than store-bought wheels! 🤣
The thing still needs a trailer hitch and hydraulics. The interesting thing about it is that he has welded all the holders in such a way that the vibrations have the least effect.
I liked the way you put that together, the connecting the live and then the 0v showed a lot right there. 😊
You are a welding wizard and a craftsman... The things you can do with a broken hammer... Amazing! 🤪 By the way... great video editing. 👍
Love your work but here's a tip that will save you having to grind the dags off your bench after each job. Buy a can of the cheapest canola spray and spray your bench before you start. Afterwards you can just sweep the dross off the bench and if the bench gets messy after a few uses just give it a wipe down with some mentholated spirits on a rag. You will have less grinding dust in the air and in your shop with the added bonus that when you weld it smells like you are cooking something.
You should use an o-ring chain. They're only slightly more expensive but last like 5 times longer with less maintenance.
Awesome build! You make it look so easy.
Dud you did a awesome job 👏 building this .That's gas tank is perfect .😮
Que divertida!!! Mai um brilhante trabalho. Parabéns!!
This dude's planning skills are level infinity
Nice build!! I also have pretty custom 250cc minibuild I'd like to show you! I used the hawk 250cc motor and put on a coleman ct200ex. It's a pretty legit build
You are very skilled welder and have a great imagination and creative
Jesteś niesamowity...👍👍 Nawet ziemniaki potrafisz skrobać...😄👍 pozdrawiam 👍👍🇵🇱
Hehe 😁 Dziękuje 😁
It is rather impressive but to do all of this in less than 35 minutes, now that's crazy!
Loved the "finding the wheels in the forrest" trope!!! Lol
Very impressive. The results are amazing!! Great. Well done, my friend. Let me ask, if driving at a speed of 60 km/h, will this car go into a curve and fall into the field? 🎖🏅
Thank you 😁 At this speed there is no problem with cornering, I tested it, it seems even at higher speeds. But in this type of vehicle, the driver must lean to the side, and if the driver does nothing, the vehicle will tip over even at a speed of 30 km/h
It looks nice, congratulations. Wouldn't it be more useful and durable if you attached belts to the engine instead of chains? Also, the seating area was small and you did not take any safety precautions for comfortable and safe driving.
I dont know what i enjoyed more, the skit or watching you fabricate that.
Kreatifitas tiada Batas, the best karya yang baik dan sangat sangat baik.
That's a really awesome build, but the skewed headlight is triggering my OCD, considering the level of accuracy you went with for the rest of it. 😄
You make it look easy! Fantastic work!
Thank you 😁
A 350 banshee engine would be crazy on this build !
Bardzo fajny projekt i super wykonanie😁
Dziękuje 😁
Wonderful build and skills you have watching you put it together was amazing be proud of your work are you making them for just yourself
Hello, this trike is amazing, and done with careand very beautiful. Good job. Kris
Must be amazing to ride or drive something you have made yourself, love it.....
That is choice, man! Would make a great pit vehicle at the drag strip!
Thanks for the test drive 😊 i want to buy it. I have seen it from close and i know that it's a great quality scooter. Only problem for me is that i am tall and i can't strech my feet at the front foot rest 😅. But it's perfect for the city perfect, the only thing i don't know is what happens if the key doesn't have battery, or the scooter battery is dead, how you open the seat?
If you were starting now, what would be first 5 to 10 tools you'd buy or build first?
At the beginning, I would buy an angle grinder, a drill and a welder, if my budget allowed it would a MIG/MAG. If I had a small budget, I would first build a metal cutter or a stand for an angle grinder, the same with a drill, or I would buy a small bench drill from the supermarket, or I would build, If I collected the tools and machines I mentioned earlier, I would build a belt sander, great machine :)
I know welders who have wet dreams of shops like that
from the way that machine looks, it looks like it would be a good idea to put a wheelie bar on it
Awesome build! Glad I found this channel.
This is a gr8 job but I'm an old man now and that hard tail would kill me . I have a swing arm and a pro link shock in the yard somewhere ... lol
Great design and craftsmanship!
What fun! Okay, now what you do is build a 4-wheeler with shock suspension on each wheel, and make it electric so that it is silent. Make it powerful enough to pull a utility trailer weighing 1,800 lbs. Do that, and I’ll help you market it!
Upo vizuri mwamba!! Napenda sana kufikia hatua hii. Kutoka Tanzania nakupa hongera!
That front fork setup is going to get you hurt.
Another brilliant build!!👍👍
Look at all those tools, I seen a guy build one of these with a skill saw, hammer, drill, duck tape and a toothpick he never actually used!
Thank you 😁
Great Skills and the final product is something to be very proud of for sure !!
Really interesting way to introduce and end a video. Most entertaining.
Thank you!
Thank you 😁
@@WorkshopFromScratch For the way in which you produce this video, ( and the others ) I thank you. Always a pleasure.
Absolutely amazing work here!
Thank you 😁
Came out amazing!! Absolutely beautiful. Very nice work, my friend!! 🎖🏅🥇🏆
Thank you 😁
Man has all the tools!! Amazing
Loved it..
You had me from seeing the front FAT Wheel..
Awesome build...
Thank you 😁
Bro...seriously you have all the right tools and skills...fantastic work.on another level my friend
Thank you 😁
Crazy stuff, man! Real cool, I love your introduction and I like, that you don't delete those lil accidents in your vid like the flying hammerhead!
Real great work, wish we'd be able to do this in EUR/Germany, but our transport and vehicle commission is too strict.
Regards from Germany
At 16:34 i felt that, i happens to me at my job at least twice a week 😅 gotta do it twice🤬 good craftsmanship bro🤌🏿
Multi- billion dollar manufacturers won’t make one like this. Thanks
I was impressed by the educational value of the video.
Thank you 😁
Outstanding Build !!!
looks very much like a manco quester 3 wheeler frame, pretty cool.
looks like a lot of fun and nice job on all the custom work
Felicitaciones crack
