I am on my hair growth journey.
      It's my third month tomorrow.
But i think i am gonna cut my hairs from the sides, but keep top hairs.
Just gonna get a trim to get rid of any upcoming split heads.

Trav White do you have any good recommendations for a good hair product for styling your hair? Like mousse products that don't contain harmful chemicals, parabens, SLS, etc
Also how will you rate Agadir Argan Oil Volumizing Styling Mousse?

    1. Not having a goal in mind
    2. Not understanding your unique hair type
    3. Comparing your hair to others
    4. Buying hype products/supplements VS fixing lifestyle and diet

Tip number 5 is so true. Though the first year is usually known as the awkward stage, it was actually quite interesting and I enjoyed every stage in different ways.
Also, don't focus on your hair everyday and look at the mirror waiting for it to be long. It's better to be occupied with something.

But your vid cleared everything up and there was no rubbish telling us to buy this and this, rather it was just real talk with genuine advice to keep natural and focus on your diet which does make sense but most people just want a quick fix and don’t want to put the time and effort in which just isn’t how life works. Great channel and video. It’s great having a channel talking about men’s long hair. I’ve had long hair for over 30 years. As a matter of fact my hair is about the length of yours. My hair is 50/50 gray and dark brown. My hair is wavy, coarse and dry-to-normal. I’ve got a full head of hair and I’m 63. I’m new to your channel so I’m not sure what’s in all your videos. Can you recommend good brushes for drying hair and daily grooming. Also what to look for in a hair dryer. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work.

The curling started 2 years ago. Now i have very pronounced S curls. Like Jon Snow kind of curl. Or maybe a little milder. And I find it very hard to grow out since i havent had this until 2 yrs ago. And i only tried to grow it out now because of covid causing my trusted barber to close his shop for idk how many months now. 😂 Imma keep at it and see if its worth growing out even more

Yes, it comes down to hair type. I’d have to know more about your hair type. But I wouldn’t just cold turkey stop washing. If your scalp is oily I would wash more frequently than 1x per week. It’s a trial and error thing.

A great way to know if you’ll go bald or not is by looking at your grandfather on your mother’s side of the family. Men’s hair genetics mainly comes from the mother’s side so if you’re mother’s father was bald at 40 years old you will most likely experience the same, on the other hand if they have their hair until 80 years old plus then you’ll most likely still have a good head of hair for most of your life.

Depending on your goal, you may need to shape your hair or layer it as it grows. If you don’t do that you may to to trim a little and then shape it. I don’t mean going to a buzz cut and starting from scratch.
