2023 update: i got one on Amazon and it turns out they added more phrases to the Disney store one. Now it’s not just voice clips cut straight from the movie, but now there are actual woody doll phrases like “you’re my favorite deputy” and “yeehaw”

Idk, Disney Store already recreated the 1995 woody in 2018, with the wires in his arms and legs, and the exact phrases that the 1995 doll had.

A hat three the same colour as the movie
A small pull string rim

The TSC woody was my first ever woody doll I had when I was 6 or 7 . Currently , I have the older Disney store woody , I think it’s thinkway toys but now my new one is medicom woody.

Here's the thing and feel free to call me out, toys are ment to be played with by kids,pretty cheap so parents can afford them,and durable so you can throw them around. I know that TSC Woody is alot better,but I prefer Disney store. Kids love toy story and want the toys. When a toy comes with a stand you KNOW it's made to collect dust. If you break a TSC toy, that's the end there goes $90. But with Disney store you can say "we can pick another one up next time we go to the mall. So I'd prefer to have a toy,not a collecters item
Yeah I think everyone should get what suits their needs and budget. For me personally I don’t play with any Toy Story Collection toys and when I use them I am very gentle. The Disney store toys I use as stunt doubles for my videos I make for this channel so yes Disney Store is great for stunts and rough play, collection is mostly just for display.

No the closest thing we got was the soft and huggable plush Woody head from thinkway toys.
I just bought Disney Woody, and Huggable Woody and changed the heads. I´m totally happy with the accuracy now.

I’ve always preferred the toy story collection myself. I have the signature collection and I think along with the normal collection they are the best ones to buy. I feel like a broken record at this point 😂. Another great video man keep it up 👍

I love the texture of the clothes and that is not printed (refering to TSC Woody), like the vest on others, they did a very good job. Neither of us has a smiling face as if it were a toy in the photo you showed of the hands.
I just don’t understand when the companies claim its movie accurate but yet important details are not catered to, paid attention to or just forgotten.
TodayIGrewUP I think they, because it was based on digital data, just using the average face instead of modeling it after the normal toy version unlike some other characters that are more accurate

So basically which version of the Disney Store Spanish Buzz is the best one? It's kind of hard to tell because Disney Store/Disney Collection JCPenney has a grim facial expression,while Special Edition glows in the dark and has the regular expression that doesn't look as good compared to Thinkway's.

The Disney store Woody goes through very very regular revisions. I got my Woody from Disneyland Paris, it was an anniversary present from my girlfriend and he didn't come in a box, he was totally loose just with a tag on him. The head sculpt is identical to the Toy Story Collection version but without painted lines on the hair. The new version looks to be a bit of a downgrade, probably to attract people to the collection version.

@@todayigrewup I believe up until around 2012, they were still making the Disney Store Woody's with the 1995 headsculpt with the big white grin. One thing I'd definitely say I don't like about the 2019 release is that his phrases are all specific to Toy Story 4 as opposed to being the classic Woody phrases that the actual toy would say. I'm definitely glad I got the version that I did.

When they came out for sale in 2019 to promote toy story 4 toy story signature collection woody cost $89.99 and Disney store woody always costs the same at about $32

I have seen the Medicom Ultimate Woody, it doesn't talk! The face has a seam line visible because you swap the faces out for other ones and his skin tone is too white VS more movie like, where are the rosy cheeks? His jeans are too dark in color, also his body isn't as floppy as a rag doll it’s a little more stiff, so that is why I didn't want to get it and ITS SUPER EXPENSIVE. I decided to make my own woody and that is the video that is coming soon to my channel.

I think i have a Toy Story Cloud pattern woody because I got one from an antique store (how ironic) that was inside a zip lock bag and it just had the woody and a detailed hat. What was weird is that it said there was a push button, which I don't remember on the TSC woody, and it didn't come with a stand which is disappointing to me, but I'm also asking, do you know anywhere I can get a woody stand?

I honestly think you should have compared it with the Signature Collection Woody since that is the most recent TSC Woody, considering you can no longer get the original Woody doll and since this video is meant to help the viewer decide which Woody is right for them, I would hate for them to be misled into thinking that the 2009 Woody looks exactly like the Signature collection Woody where in reality, there are some huge design differences that make the 2009 Woody a lot better.
I did make this video longer on purpose to really explain that to folks so they don't get confused. I really didn't want to buy a TSSC Woody especially at $90 price point I am not a fan of it to be honest as much as the older version I have. I appreciate the feedback thank you.
