While not completely accurate, this feels more like it captures the essence of woody. It feels more like a woody that was made in 50s, rather than what the movie portrays, and I’m here for it.
This is absolutely amazing, and I love it, but because they are genuinely living toys in the movies, and because something like this happens in movie 2, there's something subconsciously unsettling about it at the same time...
This is like the toy equivalent of the building of Frankenstein’s Monster but instead of ethically recycling old body parts via grave robbing he just made his own to varying degrees of success.
@@dazzlingburritoes5693 Disney didn't have buzz's model since it was a Disney movie, not pixar. Plus they probably had to update his model so it fit the style of Ralph breaks in the internet. I agree his design was botched, they probably didn't put thought into it / alot of work since it was just for a background scene

Same. I never liked that the actual toys were never accurate to the ones in the movie. I mean yeah they looked right as far as the characters are concerned but as far as being accurate to the toy itself was a real let down 😒

Hasbro did a horrible job on making the Woody doll. Duane did an insanely excellent job re-detailing Woody making him accurate to the film and giving him extra features.
I had "The Cleaner" song from Toy Story 2 playing in the background throughout all of the video to immerse myself even more. To me the video just wouldn't be the same without it and especially when it is a Woody Doll being patched up and upgraded!
Really awesome work! You can see the hours of hard work put into this! My only criticism is that there is too much clay/putty around his eyes which make it appear not as _bulgy_ as I would imagine. I also think a clear coat applied to the eyes to make it more "glassy" would be a nice touch! Even still, best Woody doll I've ever seen a fan recreate :D
This my childhood brought to life and more impressive than the commonly available Woody dolls I have seen in the toy aisle over the years. Thanks for bringing a childhood memory to life and giving a once loved toy a new lease on life.

Not sure if it’s the eyes or the more pink skin color, but waow, what an upgrade from the original doll! If you have or ever have kids, they sure are lucky to have a dad this creative!
