Kind of appropriate that a modern sister act would cover one the legendary sister acts.

These women have covered Heart, Black Sabbath, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Dylan. Their parents raised them right...and I want to see their music collection.
Their parents were punk rockers... First Aid Kit is running their own race
They've also covered Roxette, Kate Bush, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, and Abba.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love FAK! I have to say, though... as good as this cover is, it serves more to highlight the _astonishing_ power of Ann Wilson's voice by comparison. I don't hold this against FAK and greatly applaud their attempt, and their beautiful music in general. But where is this generation's great female rock vocalist? Having grown up on the likes of Grace Slick, Ann Wilson & Pat Benatar, I just assumed there would continue a steady flow of insanely gifted, female rock vocalists. Sadly, I was either wrong or just don't know where to look. (Suggestions _very_ welcome!)
Like I said, though, none of that takes away from how much I love these girls and all the gifts they bring. Their music has brought me incalculable joy.

she is nailing steve fossen s bass line which is not easy and to even try this song live and do any justice at all puts u in a different level of playing

As a vocalist and musician ....Heart is hard to emulate and replicate and these girls are just phenomenal....im just in awe...every song.

Yeah, Ann Wilson is the best rock vocalist, IMO. She is impossible to cover. I think FAK is great, still.

Quite enjoying having stumbled on these girls tonight (via a cover of Running Up That Hill). Despite having those harmonies they don't seem to succumb to the tired trope of slow acoustic versions plus distant vocal. Instead, they find the energy in the songs they cover.

an excellent rendition of Ann Wilson's iconic guitar intro, though it did push her skill, then she sings like Nancy. Very, very talented women. Nice harmonies. But the guitarist and drummer... they got some serious skills
