I am sorry but, There is not a singer today that even comes close to the presence, voice, or talent like ann and Nancy Wilson, and that is a fact!! They ROCK!!!!!!
These 60 years old grandmas still rock-n-roll with the guitars. Imagine that! Love Nancy and the acoustic riffs. They were hot chicks back then, man how time flies.
great performance just great.....Her voice is like NO OTHERS....and...her Sis on the guitar, the movements, and just the way she plays, is GREAT....What a duo, they are STILL the BEST
No one can even come close to touching Heart. They command a stage presence without lasers, lights, explosions, nothing. Just her voice, and the rocking of the music. No band can claim to do the same.
Its so beautiful that these two mega talented sisters are still rocking out together and sharing their talents with us still!! Thank you so much Ann and Nancy Wilson!!!! Ann and Nancy Wilson are Heart they just proved it with this video. They didnt need anyone else. Thank you Aspirdione for uploading and sharing!
I love Annie, she is always singing about dreams all the time "I was a willow last night in my dreams" "These dreams go on when I close my eyes" "funny how in dreams your feet never touch the earth" Annie your a dreamboat. LOVE YA!!!!
Ann in the 70's was a rock goddess of paralyzing beauty with a voice that could rip your heart out. Sure, she's gained some weight, but now she is a woman with a voice that can pin you against a wall, and make you forget your own name... And Nancy, well Nancy is and always has been incredible.. I know these girls did a lot of great work in the 70's and 80's, and continue to make great music... but this song is their masterpiece. Ann and Nancy are immortal
@zombieslickbrain actually she always had a weight problem...it got to a point where she had eating disorders. I am glad she stopped putting herself through hell. I mean it doesn't change the fact that she is beyond epic.
Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only Ann Wilson! And for those who never thought much of Nancy Wilson as a guitarist, well, there goes your opinion. Through the window I mean.
This is the version of Crazy on You that Heart has been performing live for a while now. It showcases the power and beauty of Ann's voice and the great guitar playing of Nancy. Simply the best sister team in Rock history ever.
Ann and Nancy are iconic!! Other women in music get credit that is deserved but I fear that these two women won't get the true recognition they deserve and how they influenced music until they pass on. Sadly that also goes for Pat Benatar and many more
In a "top 20 acoustic guitar intros of all time" The OP (an excellent guitarist, BTW) wouldn't even attempt to duplicate Nancy's performance. He played a video of her doing it.
Ann is still a sexy lady, and can anyone else sing like she does. And is there any other female guitar player that rocks like Nancy, I think not. They are by far the best 2 female rockers, period.
A beautiful rendition. It's a nice way to clearly hear Nancy's rhythm guitar part on this tune, which I just love. No need to comment on Ann - it's all been said before. Superb.
Saw Them On Their Acoustic Tour in Orlando! Nancy Said “People Thought We Couldn’t Do It Acoustically! We Proved Everyone Wrong, But I Have To Break A Lot Of My Guitar Strings Doing It “! 🤣
Opinions are NOT synonomous with FACTS! Sure, I liked this group back in the 80's, but in MY OPINION, I've heard better. Nobody's saying your choice is wrong, I'm only saying that someone else will argue that they know someone else who sings much better. I would agree but I would never state publicly that my favorite singer is better than someone else. Facts require proof. SHOW and PROVE that Ann is the best. Otherwise, it's just a factless opinion.
On this tour it segued into Dreamboat Annie. This arrangement of COY was written for the Lovemongers to get away from the "Heart sound". Heart started doing it on the tour that Nancy sat out because of her pregnancy. They kept it around for another year or so before slowly morphing back to the original which they do on the tour now (complete with intro). This isn't my favorite arrangement of the song, but I guess when you've done a song at every show for over 30 years, you've gotta mix it up.
Ann's voice is as crystal clear and beautiful as it was three decades ago. How many times do you think they have performed this song over the years? I don't blame them for switching it up. Fabulous!!
To the contrary, I believe it exudes a different type of energy. What it looses in breadth it gains in depth. IMHO, one seal of authenticity for any musician is: can you grab a mic and a naked instrument (acoustic, piano, harmonica, etc.) and entertain? Jewel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, and Jon Bon Jovi come to mind.
Thanx for posting this! And as for any posts about Ann's weight, Chris Cornell was quoted abouted that sub "No one ever said Arethea couldn't sing after gaining weight!" The Wilson sisters use their voices/musical talent to get them ahead; not the bod. That's why they are loved and considered true artists.
I agree with claimguy, Anne is and always be to me the best female rock singer ever !! And I noticed too she's problems with keep on shape... that's her choice, what people need (fans) is a good performance and she did an awesome one here. Congrats to Nancy, she plays great the guitar... as always. I want Heart DVD's too !!
GAWDAMN thats nice! Now don't take this the wrong way ladies, but.... Ann Wilson is the only woman I have ever heard singin rock where I didn't ONCE think - Hey that's a chick singin a heavy song. Some of it is that Heart played music suited to her prodigious talent, but there is just so much in those pipes She is and always will be the greatest female rock voice.
I completely and wholeheartedly disagree, but hey that's the beauty of opinion. :) Ann's style got tremendously more technical, and I rather liked the simpler style from before, with more complex instrumentation. Also, the song lost all it's feeling played so slowly. oh well. still excellent, just different.
@LedWilde ...Isn't that the truth you rock. I think the music industry is in trouble and they have no ideal what to do. After them weak performances this years MTV and AMA'S Gee'z, they had to pop out (New Kids and Backstreet!) Cant wait for the Grammy's NOT!
o "rear16...um, they've been making money playing music long before you were ever thought of...perhaps they KNOW what they're doing? Not to mention the original version of this song has one of the more amazing guitar intro's ever written...lol. Good luck on your condescension.
You flunkies don't belong on the same planet with this chick. She's the same gorgeous rocker now that she was 30 years ago. And if you need to be reminded, her voice is the primary reason we're watching this video anyway. If you truly need to see a young thin Ann Wilson, watch the older videos.
Vocally she is the epitome of the classic rock voice. She's got Robert Plant (although Heart and Led Zepplin probably came up around the same time) and the Blues in her voice. I think she's the best female rock vocalist there has been to date. More control than Janis Joplin.
Why does everyone have to bring up Anne's weight? Get over it everyone!... She is a true inspiring artist... with a voice that brings me to my knees as it should do to all men... Nancy's solo is awesome but over played...
Your argument is pointless. YOU like Heart. Doesn't mean I have to, or that I'm a fool if I don't agree with you. You have the right to like them. I have a right to like someone else. Case closed.
amazing... been a major fan since '76, and after seeing heart perform this song in many arena concerts, full on blown out, this unplugged version, without a doubt, has got to be THE best version of them all. ann, u got my heart this time girl...BRAVO!
You don't get perfect pitch from studying opera. You're born with it. And that has nothing to do with how great a persons voice is. It just means they can sing in tune.
I am sorry but, There is not a singer today that even comes close to the presence, voice, or talent like ann and Nancy Wilson, and that is a fact!! They ROCK!!!!!!
i really dont believe there is anyone on the planet that can sing like Ann wilson. I mean comon.... she,s that special.
the best female rocker of all time...the others paved the way just for her
Wow! That is the best version of that I've ever heard! Goosebumps.
These 60 years old grandmas still rock-n-roll with the guitars. Imagine that!
Love Nancy and the acoustic riffs.
They were hot chicks back then, man how time flies.
Man, her vocal control is still absolutely perfect even with the power she puts out, and even with her getting up in the years.
saw them in front row back in the day nancy threw me a rose never forget that was one awesome concert
This version shows how hard Nancy has been working in the background during this song since 1970! I always wanted to hear her part isolated.
Ann...what a voice...Nancy, what fingers! You girls rock! Always have and always will ;)
Ann Wilson is one of the greatest voices in rock and roll, PERIOD!!! None of the guys (even her idol Robert Plant) can't fuck with her.
great performance just great.....Her voice is like NO OTHERS....and...her Sis on the guitar, the movements, and just the way she plays, is GREAT....What a duo, they are STILL the BEST
Fully agree with you mate
Dang, Ann's voice and Nancy's percussive guitar playing...heaven!
Ann Wilson was born in 1950. Weight problem or not she is an incredible singer and she looks damn good for 61 years old.
No one can even come close to touching Heart. They command a stage presence without lasers, lights, explosions, nothing. Just her voice, and the rocking of the music. No band can claim to do the same.
GODDAMN!!!! Can She SING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!
I love this acoustic version!
The first Ann a cappella part gives me goosebumps!
Ann is like a fine wine... only gets better with age...thanks for all the years of great music ann and nancy...we love you.
Ann Wilson's voice is souful heart felt emotion it's talent in the utmost form! She is in my personal opinion the very best female vocalist ever!
Holy shit Ann! Ficking AMAZING! No one on earth can touch even close to your angelic beautiful voice!
katie one eye perry lady gaggles pffft!!! not in the same universe of talent that ann and nancy are
How can someone dislike this? Absolutely amazing!
Their version of 'Stairway to Heaven' at the Kennedy Honors in tribute to Led Zeppelin was beyond awesome! ♥ ♥ : ♥ ♥
I LOVE this woman’s voice! Anne Wilson you are amazing 😍
The best female vocalist is rock and roll history....mic drop
Ann's voice is absolutely perfect .Nancy's guitar playing is as fabulous
I love Annie, she is always singing about dreams all the time "I was a willow last night in my dreams" "These dreams go on when I close my eyes" "funny how in dreams your feet never touch the earth" Annie your a dreamboat. LOVE YA!!!!
Two very talented women! True Icons! Have made their mark with thier gift of music.
Ann in the 70's was a rock goddess of paralyzing beauty with a voice that could rip your heart out.
Sure, she's gained some weight, but now she is a woman with a voice that can pin you against a wall, and make you forget your own name...

Ann and Nancy are immortal
Why bring her weight in the middle of a comment about her voice?
@zombieslickbrain
actually she always had a weight problem...it got to a point where she had eating disorders. I am glad she stopped putting herself through hell. I mean it doesn't change the fact that she is beyond epic.

Ann WIlson would make a CRAZY coacher on The Voice
Ann and Nancy are iconic!! Other women in music get credit that is deserved but I fear that these two women won't get the true recognition they deserve and how they influenced music until they pass on. Sadly that also goes for Pat Benatar and many more
Sweet, sweet Ann!! So much heart, so much soul. You're truly the Queen of Rock. Love everything you do. Yes. Heaven!!!
In a "top 20 acoustic guitar intros of all time" The OP (an excellent guitarist, BTW) wouldn't even attempt to duplicate Nancy's performance. He played a video of her doing it.
tears running down my face, TIMELESS !!!!
Ann Wilson..Now that girl can sing!!
hot........the song is stripped down to it's bare essence... magic....
50 year crush on those 2, so talented. My wife, I am sure would approve.
how could she deny you i mean cmon
Ann is still a sexy lady, and can anyone else sing like she does. And is there any other female guitar player that rocks like Nancy, I think not. They are by far the

Fully agree with you 🎉

Unbelievable truly the best female singer today
Okay she has got to be one of the best female singers of all time. Joann Jett and Lzzy Hale are trying to rip her off
Saw Them On Their Acoustic Tour in Orlando! Nancy Said “People Thought We Couldn’t Do It Acoustically! We Proved Everyone Wrong, But I Have To Break A Lot Of My Guitar Strings Doing It “! 🤣
one of the most awesome voices in rock. and an one heck of a guitarist as well
You ladies rock! Still have it after all these years. Dreamboat Annie was my first album. Loved you then. Love you now!
Opinions are NOT synonomous with FACTS! Sure, I liked this group back in the 80's, but in MY OPINION, I've heard better. She makes me think of Janis Joplin... Her voice is awesome!!!
Janis couldn't hold a candle to her.
Dannnngggg!! No way!!!..she is out of this world. Heart forever
Why does everyone have to bring up Anne's weight? Get over it everyone!... She is a true inspiring artist... with a voice that brings me to my knees as it should do to all men... Nancy's solo is awesome but over played...
is there anyway 2 have this digitally restored video? truly a classic Heart "Crazy on you"
Your argument is pointless. YOU like Heart. Doesn't mean I have to, or that I'm a fool if I don't agree with you. You have the right to like them. I have a right to like someone else. Case closed.

This is a vocal masterpiece. Don't be so shallow to post about her weight....this is a lesson to all the so called vocalists around these days...
Everyone should really check out Grecthen Wilson on youtube she can cover anything heart has and she does two or three with Ann and Nancy
I'm sure this has been said a lot already, but I wish Nancy had played the guitar intro. Their old concerts were much better.
best version... wish ann would've done a duet with brad delp of boston, can't even imagine how awesome that would've been
Are they in the rock Hall of Fame...if not someone better get there shit together....what vocals....simply awsome!!!!!!!!!!
who cares if she is fat or not?
Sheé really talented and her voice is still incredible...
I agree with you jsummerlin47
Those girls still got it! Anne's voice is just as awesome and powerful as ever. Heart will never die!!!!
ya she got big...haha bummer
why do they take out the best part...the intro
and then they made it all slow...lame
Wonderful performance. Vocals were outstanding. Wish they would have included the phenomenal acoustic intro, though.
No thats shes bigger her diafram can hold a note longer bigger girls = better singers
For a while the world seemed to recognize their talent but mostly they're on a plane to high above the masses...
ann a beautifull voice, karen carpenter which i believe was the best, thank god ann had more strength than karen
I get shivers down my spine everytime I hear this song, Ann's vocal range and sheer power never fails to amaze me...what a woman!
So Ann Wilson's gained some weight. Open your ears. She's singing better than ever. What a set of pipes!!
Still my favorite version.
@schpankay Your just hearing this song for the first time ? Welcome to the true essence of Rockn Roll.
dude anne wilson is awesome. it doesnt matter if shes fat or skinny or not. she still has a great voice
I love the guitar parts, but I wish the singing weren't so loud. It's not bad, it's just...overpowering.
地球上、最高の姉妹😊❤
@wcbombers21 .... I couldn't have said it any better. You're SO right. Just a vocal phenomenon.
You sound like one of those "Stop Cyber Bullies" comercials without the hilariously harsh truths
What is wrong with this audience??? I would have been on my feet after the first note!!! Wow/
hahahahaha how could they deny it watch the vids from the 70's. lol how can it be denied? lol
fuck this 'So good!!!!!
any body know what year this is??
big love from london town xxx
Please Ann do a duet with Meat Loaf!!! then i could die at the ripe age of 18!!! PLEASE!!!
Amazing riff
Yo dude I love this song
But... that incredible guitar intro, where is it? :(
I thought this was from 1999,
but confirmed later that this is a 2003 recording.
The original comment was "Ann is fat now, it makes me sad". It makes me sad, too.
i put that on another heart video and got hate mail in the replys but its true
Have you noticed that she can sing...MasterChief.....??? Just listen and let yourself be amazed....
Holy fuck that intro. Rock legends
Best
Does anyone knows When and where this video was recorded?
