- With head-banging, strobe lights, and electric guitar solos, First Aid Kit brought a new energy to the Palace Theatre in January.
Sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg just released their fourth album, 'Ruins.' The album features songs that fit the texture we’ve come to expect from First Aid Kit - folksy sounds with beautiful harmonies - as well as expanding the group’s palette to include a harder-rocking sound. - เพลง

Literally, I was at a stop light and heard When I Grow Up from the truck next to me. Grabbed my attention and all I could do was remember one line from the song, then pulled over, googled it, found Fever Ray, then First Aid Kit. Never looked back. Incredible band. Criminally underplayed.

It's really rare to hear music of such a great quality these days. Also their vocals are unique and they sound nearly identical to studio version. I hope we will have the honor to listen to them for many more years.
I discovered these ladies by accident...and have never looked back. Grew up in a musical family so I'm always looking for top-notch talent. These ladies are the best. Come back to Denver - please!!!
Wow, I am blown away by these two amazing sister musicians. I first heard "Emmylou" covered by Darin and Brook Aldridge, very well I might add. Having to know the songwriters it lead me to Klara and Johanna. I am hooked, line and sinker....wow and thank you. Music and tequila are keeping me sane and safe in 2020. Not going to live music is killing me, but this is the next best thing.
I will say this again, First Aid Kit is the best thing to happen to music in the last 10 years, Marcus Mumford introduced them to the stage as his musical heroes, that doesn't surprise me.

FAK are wonderful , but there are plenty of other bands and artists' around eg Low, Dead Can Dance, LP, Florence and the machine, Innocent Mission . Agnes Obel , The Kills, Bat for Lashes , Daughter , PJ Harvey etc etc
eg listen to "the lakes of Canada " by Innocence Mission and tell me then you think this is not a coruscating track !
They are one of my favourite musicians, but your statement is just subjective, you can look on comment section on every other artist on ytb and there you will see people saying similar things that you do.

Just bought four albums worth based on hearing one track at a friend’s house. The sound just grabbed me. Never heard of them. Making it up for it now. Exceptional. Can’t stop playing them. Every song is special. Can’t believe the quality. Feel blessed.

I just did the same. Found them a few months ago through a TV advert. I then added their albums to my wishlist on Amazon. Last weekend I thought I'd give the game The Long Dark a go, and recognised the theme music which reminded me. I now have three of their albums and am waiting for the fourth to be delivered.

They’re just so great live, and their type of music is the kid that sounds so much better with the soul and emotion that comes from being performed live. This is such an excellent recording of a live performance too, really showcases their voices as best as possible. Wolf sounded absolutely fantastic, best version ive heard so far

First saw them at 2011 Polar Music Prize. Made Patty Smith cry. In 2012 Paul Simon gave them a standing ovation for "America". In 2015 ceremony they sang Emmylou for Emmylou Harris and made her cry! Not bad for two young Swedes.

I accidentally came across this girls when searching for Waterloo Sunset (they did a cover) and that was just today. What??? I must be living under a rock. What a freaking awesome band!! This is the real stuff. I'm in love with their music. Oh so wonderful.

The more I hear this band, the more impressed I am. First heard about them in a recent interview in Detroit with Greta Van Fleet as a group they love to listen too. Hope First Aid Kit comes to Michigan soon.

I first heard FAK on The Graham Norton Show In 2018. I lament missing this outstanding act for so long. I now can’t get enough of their music. “Emmylou” is sublime.

Emmylou is just so heart-wrenchingly poignant in every way. 13 years on (sorry, yes) and it still wrecks me every.. damn.. time. But when they first got to sing it directly to Emmy at the Polar Music Prize and she cried like a baby, oh man. I thought that would be the end of me 😭
Seeing them live is a cherished memory. Hearing 𝓣𝓱𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓥𝓸𝓲𝓬𝓮𝓼 in person should be on your bucket list - go _by any means necessary_
I discovered this band through an American Express UK commercial of all things. “My Silver Lining” grabbed my attention and I fell hard and fast. Where do a pair of sisters from Stockholm get such gorgeous Appalachian voices?? This show is dripping with sweet Laurel Canyon goodness, the likes of which I gave up hope of ever hearing again in my lifetime. If you listen to anything from this show, make it “Nothing Has To Be True.” Ryan Adams, eat your fucking heart out.

Hell yeah, the fact that I much rather prefer to listen to them live over listening to their album says alot! They're incredible and absolute perfection live, so powerful.. They should just release raw tracks haha.

They are one of the best things that happened in my life. Waited and downloaded Rebel Heart back in Jan 2018 before resuming the academic year, and it never stops giving me chills listening to it! Love this band!
It's like the day when music first made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. A day I had long forgotten about until I discovered First Aid Kit a couple of years ago. And it happens with nearly every upload of First Aid Kit that I have seen (which Is now well over 3000 videos !) May it long continue..............

Both ladies sing and play wonderfully and have a really nice, gentle stage presence. They are great together. I think both are lovely and, Johanna (I guess) has to be one of the best looking human beings on this planet!!!

Strange that these ladies have been singing since 2010 but their songs come as a breath of fresh air even in many garbage songs of 2019-2020. Few can sing live very beautifully as they are singing in radio, streamers or in CDs.
When they tried to get everyone to clap even they felt silly haha amazingg set. They're great live 💕

Boy, you can really hear the influence of the artists they love. Gram, Emmylou & some Johnny Cash. But especially 80s Paul Simon in that song at 1:12:00. So glad they ‘rebelled’ against their punk rock parents by listening to the softer stuff.
