I am a student (20f) and I have been experiencing knee pain (right knee) since the last years and now it's gotten worse and my left knee has also started hurting. I usually sit on mat keeping my legs folded . I don't know if my sitting position is the real cause?? Anyone here to help.
If you want help figuring it out, this is something that our team of physios can assess and help you with via video call. You can read more about how the online consultations work here: www.sports-injury-physio.com
I have been sitting in this position for a long time now (maybe 3-4 years) and a few months ago I started having pain in the lateral meniscus of my right leg. Whenever I stand up, after sitting in this position for an hour or so, I get a click sound around the area and a vibration feel maybe because of the ligament. I go to the gym and play badminton every weekend, but I had to stop playing and skip leg exercises for a month to recover. However, yesterday when I started my first badminton session, the slight pain started again. This recurring issue is irritating although now I'll follow your instructions and hope I'll recover in a month. Thanks 👍
Great video. Short and to the point. Thank you.
Brilliant of course. Know this with experience after a Meniscus Tear. Sitting on a cushion really reduces the stress on the joint . .
may I ask how long it took to recover from the tear?

How are you now
Any update?
@@skysthelimit7745 it will go if you do good streching and warmup before legs day
Sweet!
Thanks!
Ive got this pain after meniscus Surgery. Any idea why?
That position increases the pressure on the inner part of the knee joint. So it may be that something in that area is not 100% happy with life.
the big question is. Will it heal overtime?
I cant even move my left knee to the left
