She was very charming and Cher had growth. With the wrong actress it could have been just a shallow vapid teen girl but I felt like Cher had a genuine heart she just kept messing up when she involved herself in other people's lives which is the whole plot of the movie. Alicia Silverstone was perfect

Clueless is one of those movies that you expect to be crap but actually is a great flick. The writing saves it, truly. It’s definitely from a bygone era - nowadays when you expect a teen romp movie to be crap, it is.
