This is actually why he's one of my top 3 favorite Primarchs. He's arguably the most human because he had one thing almost all of his brothers didn't have, a mother. His Father made him a grand leader but, his mother she helped him be a humble man not some holyer than thou demigod.

Funny how Fulgrim did as well, and had more humble beginnings than most primarchs and was very much human centric when it came to common people due to his origins, but he still fell.

Euten loved him so much , when she calls him her son she means it with ever fiber of her body and soul. If i remember correctly I think her fate is unknown after heresy I think it’s a cliffhanger. Hopefully it’s resolved soon.
Him having sane, loving parents is probably one of the best things that could of happened to him. Bobby G coming to terms that Big E is not his father and his real parents were his human ones was awesome imo.

I love the quote about bricks. Its an hommage, I believe, to a quote by Abraham Lincoln: "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." It alludes to the fact that preparation can be more important than the act itself. A dull axe will still cut down a tree, but you'll be a lot more exhausted in doing so than if you use a sharpened axe. Guilliman's mom is saying that rather than worry about confronting the Lion, he needs to prepare for when the Lion takes over the other half of the Imperium.
I never heard this saying by him before. It just hit me that if he actually is the one who said it, he was speaking about destroying slavery. He wasn't just saying something pretty. He meant to kill it dead.

Ah, a video with Tarasha Euten. It was well worth the wait, and I hope we see many more in the future. I love how Guilliman, one of the twenty demigod sons of the Emperor, the Primarch of the XIIIth Legiones Astartes Ultramarines, the Lord Macragge, and Master of the 500 worlds of Ultramar, is so childlike before the woman who raised him. You do a good job of conveying that.
If Tarasha is one of the most import figures in the galaxy, its' because nothing is more important than the love of a mom and dad. Nothing is more powerful than that. And even tho it's a story, stories reflect whats in the heart of the artists. Meaning deep inside, this is what WE all believe in our hearts.
I thank the Emperor that at least one Primarch had a Mother. It makes alot of sense that he turned out so well adjusted since he had a actually had a Mother

As far as I know, her ship was lost in the warp during Horus heresy. Imagine she appears with her ship in the current settings again and Emperor by chance grant her power. Guilliman needs some motherly support in the current Imperium. And Erda, she will never be like her 😅
The mirror scene of the Lion talking with Farith would also make a great video, as would Holguin being quizzed on philosophy by the Triumverate. Perhaps my loyalty to the First is showing too much.
I mean, by the time the Emperor reached any of his children they were all adults. The first he found was Horus, and by the Emperor's side he became a beloved friend to all the Primarchs. While he would turn into the Arch traitor himself, it can't really be helped when you get stabbed by a chaos dagger and dragged into a sorceror's clutches.
I could very see Tarasha scolding Gulliman for doubting Lion's wisdom as his older brother but also slapping Lion across the face for disrespecting Yvraine as her daughter in law for resurrecting his son
She’s basically the Aunt that raised Caesar in almost every way. The absolute respect both these woman commanded in there adopted sons is quite remarkable

Lion specificly is happy to know Guilliman is there and Guilliman has stated that he would literally take anyone of his loyal brothers if he could. at the moment it seems that the two brothers will meet at pariah nexus. Guilliman was heading there to face silent king and Vashtorr has appeared there recently with his rebuilt chaos caliban, So rest assured Lion will pursue.
In essence its what the phrase Ultramarines use "the knowledge is power" is based on. If I build a tower and im given 6 hours I will spend first 4 measuring bricks. This is essentially the craftsman planning and gathering information on how to best perform the task ahead. What she is essentially telling him is to start figuring the warlord(lion) out and how to best contain him by measuring him out.

there's something that confuses me here, they talk about Sanguinius here but isn't he supposed to be dead? If Robute is rulinig then that means its post heresy and Sanguinius was killed by Horus, am I missing something here?
I believe this is in 30k pre heresy, not 40k, but i might be wrong. What i know for certain is that guilliman and the lion have not yet met on the current time
This is 30k during the Horus Heresy. Ultramar was cut off from the greater imperium, Guilliman pulled out his contingency of Imperium Secundus, to restructure the surviving elements centralised on Macragge. First it was the Lion who came to Macragge through the Warpstorm, then it was Sanguinius. Guilliman didn't want to give Secundus to the Lion because he's sly and secretive (and he brought freaking KURZE to Macragge). Sanguinus became their mutually agreed upon third option. But the Lion spent much of the Secundus as a loose cannon, hence Guilliman's apprehension in this conversation.

What did she mean but "It is time to start measuring bricks"?
In essence its what the phrase Ultramarines use "the knowledge is power" is based on. If I build a tower and im given 6 hours I will spend first 4 measuring bricks. This is essentially the craftsman planning and gathering information on how to best perform the task ahead. What she is essentially telling him is to start figuring the warlord(lion) out and how to best contain him by measuring him out.

there's something that confuses me here, they talk about Sanguinius here but isn't he supposed to be dead? If Robute is rulinig then that means its post heresy and Sanguinius was killed by Horus, am I missing something here?
I believe this is in 30k pre heresy, not 40k, but i might be wrong. What i know for certain is that guilliman and the lion have not yet met on the current time
This is 30k during the Horus Heresy. Ultramar was cut off from the greater imperium, Guilliman pulled out his contingency of Imperium Secundus, to restructure the surviving elements centralised on Macragge.
First it was the Lion who came to Macragge through the Warpstorm, then it was Sanguinius. Guilliman didn't want to give Secundus to the Lion because he's sly and secretive (and he brought freaking KURZE to Macragge). Sanguinus became their mutually agreed upon third option. But the Lion spent much of the Secundus as a loose cannon, hence Guilliman's apprehension in this conversation.
Nah this is just before Imperium Secundus times during Horus Heresy, so, 30K.
