Been a bit before I could upload a 40k segment so I put my time into a longer one! Hopefully I can keep up the editing and uploading on these parts each week until they are done. As for the excerpt itself, as a large fan of Dorn and his Sons, this is one of my favourite newer segments! It shows off the best of the most indomitable primarch! A lot of the same coming, though no less entertaining. I also believe this may play into events later with the Iron Cage, Dorn's shame and I am excited to see if that is true. If you enjoyed please do like, comment and subscribe for the next parts. My thanks for waiting and, as always, my thanks for watching!
Dorn is a primarch and as such, has perfect recall. Khorne is attempting to drain knowledge and sanity from him through isolation, something the human mind normally cannot handle. If Dorn stops thinking, gives up on being stoic and abandons self restraint, then he will become a creature of instinct, a berserker of Khorne. Its why its so important to maintain the ritual, to affirm he is unyielding, because it gives it meaning, makes it into habit, a commitment, an oath and thus it acts as a defense against the erosion of self, much like sacrificial cathodic protection shields a ship's hull from corrosion.
You know this gives me an idea: what if Dorn’s disappearance is just Khorne going for a round two with the Praetorian of Terra? Like he’s just stuck in the warp (minus one hand) duking it out with the blood god because Khorne actually found someone he could go toe to toe with?
He orders the available facts to himself once more. This guy has talent for voiceover work. Fact. I have liked this video. Fact. I have left a comment. Fact.
Yeah, it's important to note the chaos gods gimmicks might just be a mask or at least a deliberate embellishment. We might be seeing the actual khorme not a berserker war god but a nasty sociopathic demon with no honour.
@thegamergriffin2910 Khorne is not the god of war. He is the god of blood. wearing out a persons psyche is completely passive and not at all like Khorne. This is more like Nurgle, because Tzeentch also embodies hope so he would have included a way out but made it hard to reach.
I think people have a very misconceived notion of Khorne being some loudmouth who just screams and kills. I there is far more to him and the way his corruption works. The end result is always similar, but he is a god who is as deep and profound as any of the gods.
@@kerkezpavle The more i think about it, the more i think Khorne is the most deceptive of the Chaos Gods, hiding behind a facade of strength, honour and love of combat.

@danielquintonvo on further reflection, the similarities with depression in the text is rather interesting as well. Seemingly endless nothing, eroding a person from without and within, almost taunting them with glimpses of memories called into question by doubt and fear. I have to admit, I was not expecting it.
You’re not wrong. Mindfulness is a great skill to hone if you have mental health problems. It doesn’t stop symptoms, but it helps you remember what you’re feeling may not match consensus reality.
Excellent performance, brother. I look forward to more installments. I often fantasize about a group of voice actors getting together and doing a full audio book, each as a different character. It would more Auramite than the Golden Throne.

seventh found son and primarch of the seventh legion papa nurgle: no, khorne, you cant have this one. if i cant get this one then no one can. Dorn: i dont remember asking any of you a thing.
Kind of poetic how at the Siege, Dorn and Jaghatai feel the same. They consider being truly free, and being confined. Despite different personalities, humanity faces changes of fortune, fight futility, feel their circumstances and challenges change.
My theory is that this is Dorn's realm in the warp. The reason why there are only dunes and walls is because the realm is decaying without his presence.
