- Finally we are getting a start on the new channel!! This is our new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X!! In this video we check out the factory wheel offset in preparation for new wheels and tires. Then we hit the dirt and check the factory flex! (Well as best we could without hitting the trails...)

15:28 Factory Flex?

Good info timely for my wheel shopping for my 2024 X. On my 8th Wrangler over 23 years as well.
Very nice! We have our new wheels and tires on now. I believe it’s the next video coming out on Saturday so you’ll have to check it out! We went with an 8.5” rim with -6mm offset and it’s perfect. Removed some spacers on the stock tire carrier and the spare sits right where I want it. We’ve had it flexed out all the way with 37s and just very very minor rubbing.
Just found your channel and subscribed to follow your journey. I actually picked up my 2024 JLU Rubicon at Lithia of Santa Fe as well! Great guys to work with!
Thanks for joining me! That’s awesome! They definitely have a good selection of Jeeps there. I’d absolutely go back if we ever end up getting another one.
Ya...I feel ya. I bought a Jeep but it's really my wife's. Would kill for your "cramped" space tho. Can't even get our condo corporation to build a car wash spot.
Yeah I’ve gotta run all our upgrades past the boss and make sure she gives me the thumbs up! Haha We’ve done quite a bit since this video and it’s looking good!
Yeah not having room to work sucks.. I’m absolutely blessed to have the space I do, but man a lift would save a lot of aches and pains!
Interesting! Mine coming in June 2024. I ordered same spec but in Black.
Nice!! I’ll get some more videos out on the upgrades we did, but we’re rolling on 37s now and got some other goodies put on! What made you go with the 4.88s?
@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms What tyres did you upgrade to?
I will eventually upgrade to 37s. Moreover, I thought it was good to order 4:88 from factory than to get em aftermarket. Everything will still be covered under factory warranty.
@@Thestorytilldate We went with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I love those tires! Then we went with Icon Rebound Pro rims. Total weight was only 10 pounds heavier which I was super happy with. The 4.88s are perfect with the 37s. Still maintain the higher gears on the highway and great on the trails.
@@Thestorytilldate Oh and we had almost no rubbing with stock suspension maxed out on articulation. The only major spot was on the wings on the front bumper but it was still minor. We just pulled them off.
@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms I will get Nitto trail grapplers. Whats the offset/back-spacing of the rims you chose?
Looking forward for a video.
Honestly you can run up to a 38 with 4:88 gears
I agree just lose a little more fuel mileage and time in 8th gear. Also just my personal preference to upgrade shafts and steering components before going bigger than 37s. Then clearance wise we would definitely need a lift and/or inner fender liners. Down the road we will either do 38s or 40s but it all takes time and money…
