Excellent choice. Its great to see a relatively basic Sport trim get customized out. Not a bad way to go. Like a blank slate to build on as personal budget permits.
I always look in the garage to see if its a mess or if the equipment looks like it gets respect, I remember one shop I was going to buy tires from, the balancer was cover in old weighs not to mention the floor, this place looked organized
I met with Joe and Ben last week after your first CT episode with them. Great, knowledgeable guys-now trying to figure out how far to go with my Mojito Green, ‘19 JLU Sport S, 6spd manual. The 35” and 1.5” on yours looks great. Not too large a fender gap.
Joey Jeeps && B&M Ben are the best in the tri-state area period... nice vid and awesome promotion of local business like this... you won't find anyone better on the east coast who knows these Jeeps better than Joe and his staff his main tech is a guru as well! NICE WORK!
Nice to see someone actually use the right width wheel for those tires. Now do the chalk test and adjust the air, they seem slightly over-inflated just by looking at them (I have developed a knack for looking at tires and being able to tell if they are set high or low haha)
11.23 and checking wheels ... I like that you went with a bit of wheel poke, but not excessive. Up here in Canada we get pulled over and get a V.i. if we have too much wheel poke (so we have to be careful on fenders as well). As for wheels, ... Black Rhino legion is okay. KMC GRS are pretty good, better without the beadlock ring Im sure (not a fan of beadlock). But I'm digging the Fuel Rebels, those are sweet!... Great pick for tires though. ... Okay, I'll continue watching and see what Ryan picks. ... Cuz in the end, who cares what I like, it's what Ryan likes that matters. Edit... Yessss, nice shout out for those guys (those shops). I love dealing with local shops, give them support and it helps keep them around. Not very local for me though, otherwise I'd be all over it. Hee hee
These look absolutely amazing on the Jeep, and I think you have me sold on what tires I will be going with when I lift my Gladiator next year!! Still thinking about wheels but this was a great video as always!! Keep up the incredible work!👍
Man hes so right about trail damage. I love my black rhino arsenals but the rocks out here in New Mexico have destroyed them. Thinking about swapping to some KMCs. I wish these guys had been near me lol
I saw y'all took off that metal skid (bash?) plate under the plastic cover. I did the same with my jeep and was getting a ton of buffering at highway speeds so I put the metal plate back in.
Thanks guys Great video to help me decide what size tires & wheels I can to add on my newly purchased 2023 jeep wrangler Rubicon Eco Diesel. Job well done!!
As far as wheels go I’m the most interested in function, then looks. I just bought a new 2024 Gladiator Sport S. That I’ll admit is not for off road usage, but traveling and exploring off the hard roads at times. I’m mostly interested in nice ride, safely in heavy rain, that’s also good news sandy beaches. I don’t like any tire poke either. The 17” matching Chrystal Granite wheels I have look better in my opinion than any on the walls in this video. That I’m willing to bet are very expensive and heavy! Unsprung weight is the biggest enemy of mileage, handling and ride. So IF I were to buy aftermarket wheels I would buy the lightest I could find, more than likely the same for AT tires. I would go with something like 265/80-16 @ 32.7”, that’s only 1.1” more than the 245/75-17 HT tires I have now, that are very quiet and ride very well. But I would not trust anywhere off the beaten path. With a trip from Central Florida, to Moab next March? I’ll probably end up with the stock wheels, but with 255/75-17 @ 32.1” as a decent compromise. With the need to keep mileage relevant over a long road trip.
Just picked up a few months ago the Baja Boss AT’s for my 99 Jeep TJ. The Baja boss AT’s had some great reviews and I will vouch for that. Was running some mud terrains before and I can actually hear my Borla exhaust now instead of the MT’s humming down the road.
My Gator Green Gladiator has 17 inch Black Rhino Abrams in Gun Metal. I’m okay with them looking weathered as I don’t want anything shiny on it. I want it to look rugged and weathered 20 years from now.
I'm old school. Wish Weld Wheels still made their Super Singles. Polished. Real interested in US Mags slotted polished wheels. Bad thing is finding something like these wheels with the correct backspacing and offset. Ryan's Jeep is looking great though. Love the 2-door.
Hey guys, did you have trouble installing the spare tire after the tire upgrade? I couldn't fit my new 35" tire on the back, but I still have the stock rims. Thank you!! The jeep is looking awesome.
Thanks for this video, I have really enjoyed your content and recently subscribed. This shop is only a 40 minute drive from me. Good to know that there’s a good place like this close by. What town are you guys in?
Great looking tire and wheel. Glad you didn’t go with the close to color match. I agree that it looks like you tried to color match it and it was just off slightly. Good call on black.
Really would like to find someone who makes beadlock rings for the Mopar wheels. Also, I was curious how much of an off-set / beckspace it would require to run a 37" on a 2023 rubicon xtreme terrain, or if it isnt possible to actually wheel with a 37" without a lift? It would actually be off roaded? thanks a ton!
I'm wanting to go with a slightly wider tire and keep stick wheels for now. Also researching lifts. Wanting to go up from my 285/70r17 RidgeGrapplers - to a 295/70r17. All the 295/70r17 I'm finding are load range E, vs my load range C. I understand E tend to ride stiffer, amd my JL is heavier than stock with added bumpers, winch, and rock rails. Will the stiffness be noticeable?
Just go with a 315/70r17 in a load C which is pretty much a 35” tire or take a look at a 305/70r17 and there are some load D ones out there fairly cheap
Check out what Lift Kit we went with!

For those asking about the offset. I followed link in description to wheel website. They advertise this wheel for jeeps as a -12mm offset.
Excellent choice. Its great to see a relatively basic Sport trim get customized out. Not a bad way to go. Like a blank slate to build on as personal budget permits.
That was our plan! More to come. Thanks for watching
This Jeep is starting to look less like a budget dealership build and more like an actual serious off-roader Jeep….congrats
Definitely the better play!
I always look in the garage to see if its a mess or if the equipment looks like it gets respect, I remember one shop I was going to buy tires from, the balancer was cover in old weighs not to mention the floor, this place looked organized

Excellent video that provides tons of value!! Really appreciate you and your partners explaining and visualizing the various wheels on this JL build.

Black Rhino is the way to go, with NITTO Ridge Grappler 35 12.5 r17, congrats on whatever you chose, Ryan!
Black Rhino was in the running!
Nice to see someone actually use the right width wheel for those tires. Now do the chalk test and adjust the air, they seem slightly over-inflated just by looking at them (I have developed a knack for looking at tires and being able to tell if they are set high or low haha)
Appreciate you. PSI is normal on our end!
The Jeep is looking good. The proprietor is a master craftsman.
Thank you!
You guys are completely doing exactly what I am doing to my 2-door. Looks so good!!! Chefs kiss!!!!
Thank you! Want to see yours!
My June ordered wrangler Willy’s just arrived at Dan Cummins. Horrible process but Lindsey is a star. I will refer her to everyone
I am looking to get a Method Bead Grip Rims and those MT Boss A/T's are amazing!
Good choice! Agreed
Those wheels and Tires look great on Ryan's Wrangler. Making me want to take my JT up to this shop to really get a good look at the options availabe.
Thank you! Do it!
Loved the video. I'll definitely talk to these guys about wheels and tires. Ryan's Jeep is starting to have that badass look. Great job guys!!!!
Appreciate you!
Those kmc grs wheels look so good. I wish I could get away with just buying a set of gernade crawls, but I daily, my gladiator.

We like hearing different opinions! Thanks for following the build!
17x9 -38 is always the answer.
These look absolutely amazing on the Jeep, and I think you have me sold on what tires I will be going with when I lift my Gladiator next year!! Still thinking about wheels but this was a great video as always!!
Keep up the incredible work!👍
Congratulations on the new set up, looks awesome!
Yes! Thank you!
I think you guys picked a great setup for Ryan’s jeep it looks great and will perform awesome! ✊🏽
Thank you. Excited to hit the trail!
Perfect wheel and tire combo for this jeep
Thank you!
Man hes so right about trail damage. I love my black rhino arsenals but the rocks out here in New Mexico have destroyed them. Thinking about swapping to some KMCs. I wish these guys had been near me lol

Interesting. I guess time will tell. Needed to see what the front looked like without that on
Beautiful combo! I’m going to have to do this exact build.
Looks fantastic!❤
Thank you!
What offset did you end up getting with the KMC wheels?
I just bought this same jeep 2 days ago, so it’s nice to see what it could look like with some options.
Congratulations on the new tires and rims and thanks for giving me ideas on what to look for when upgrading.
Glad we could help!
Sits just right. Nice work boys.
Appreciate it!
Thanks guys
Great video to help me decide what size tires & wheels I can to add on my newly purchased 2023 jeep wrangler Rubicon Eco Diesel. Job well done!!
Great choice Ryan. I love my KMC Wrath wheels that I have on my Wrangler. Welcome to the KMC family
Thank you!
I think you should have done the lighter green wheel you first looked at. It just looks better and more visually stimulating as well as distinctive.
Another great video!!! Love watching these..
Thanks for the feature 🫡
Little JL is turning into a beauty off-roader🤘🤘🤘
Growing up so fast!
That is an awesome setup Ryan! You made great choices! Video great really enjoyed it!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dang I wish that shop was down south nice video.
Awesome guys! The jeep looks amazing!
Thank you!
Whelp, now I know what I want next.
I have the same jeep 2 door same color but it's a willys n a 2022. I also just put 35s on with the factory black rims. Definitely a nice color combo
Awesome!

Very informative video. I'm in PA and just picked up a bronco and will be looking to get some modifications done, will keep these guys in mind
Awesome! Would love to see what you go with
Ryan that's awesome looks great

Another awesome video. Appreciate all the information. Keep up the good work.
Might be time to install some quick disconnects. :-)
I think so too 👀
Great looking wheels Ryan, Jeep is looking awesome!
Appreciate you!

Ryan's looks great

Thanks Scott!
I'd agree that the gray wheels were just off that it would've looked funny. Great choice in the wheels and tires.
Appreciate you
Looks great, can't wait to get mine
Love those wheels and tires. Watching these videos makes me want to buy a base Jeep and do the same things.
Thanks. Do it!
Another banger! Thanks for the great content!
Appreciate it!
Can’t wait for the next upgrade for the 2 door
Same here!
Hey guys, did you have trouble installing the spare tire after the tire upgrade? I couldn't fit my new 35" tire on the back, but I still have the stock rims. Thank you!! The jeep is looking awesome.
Looks great Ryan! Nice choice!
Thanks Andrew!
Wow very nice. What offset did Ryan go with?
One word: Magnifico!!!
Appreciate you!
That's a great looking Jeep.
Appreciate you!
It’s starting to look Amazing!
Thank you!
Very Nice!!! Great choices.
Thank you!
Great wheel choice! I have same wheels but in grey on my 18 JLUR!
Good choice!
I have been looking forward to this video! I have a 23 JL 2 door and I’m wondering what tire I will choose next. Love the channel brothers!
Thanks for watching! Would love to see what you go with
Looks really good. Nice choices 👍
Thank you!
Did you have to do anything to the spare tire carrier to carry the 35?
Did you have to change the spare tire carrier set up?
Great looking set up with the new wheels!
Yes! I'll have Matt touch on this in the next video.
Did you need to add one gate reinforcement for 35” from stock one? Thanks
Great video!
Thanks Avner!
Wish he would’ve went with the FUEL OFF-ROAD wheels 🛞, but those KMCs are nice 👍🏾
They were close in the running
What back spacing did you go with?
Los rines son 17/9 5 127 offset -12 mm
Awesome build😎💪💪
Thank you!
Thanks for this video, I have really enjoyed your content and recently subscribed. This shop is only a 40 minute drive from me. Good to know that there’s a good place like this close by. What town are you guys in?
Nice setup, Ryan. Me, I prefer my wheel/tire package like a creepy uncle, covered up and no poke.
Thanks Luke!
Great choice looks fantastic!
Thanks!
It's amazing how much a set of wheels and tires can change the look of a stock Jeep.
I want this exact jeep but can’t decide if I should go completely base or upgrade to sport s!
Looks great!
Thanks!
Great looking tire and wheel. Glad you didn’t go with the close to color match. I agree that it looks like you tried to color match it and it was just off slightly. Good call on black.
Same here! Now I need some new axles..
@@DIRTROADCRED you sure do!
I love those KMCs! Bad ass jeep!
Thanks Tony!
Just ordered Method Racing MR703s
Florida here… what is the size of the kmc wheel? Offset?
On the 2024 wrangler which models comes with the full floating axle
Really would like to find someone who makes beadlock rings for the Mopar wheels. Also, I was curious how much of an off-set / beckspace it would require to run a 37" on a 2023 rubicon xtreme terrain, or if it isnt possible to actually wheel with a 37" without a lift? It would actually be off roaded? thanks a ton!
Didn't say the exact offset on the KMC you guys decided on!!
Did you verify if it has a float rear? I think only rubi and above had that
I'm wanting to go with a slightly wider tire and keep stick wheels for now. Also researching lifts. Wanting to go up from my 285/70r17 RidgeGrapplers - to a 295/70r17. Sweet wheel and tire set up I now want to try that pizza too
Pizza was 🔥
How did you fit the spare? Does it need tailgate reinforcement?
Did you all use a wheel with an offset?
Aaaaaaa i got my rims and tries from There good dudes !!!
Awesome! They are great dudes
Any concerns with steering, 5th tire carrier, or axles with the 35s?
Right now its driving great! Driving review soon
That’s great news! Always curious how these will work with just tires and lift off-road. Thanks for the great series!
What offset did yall go with?
What offset did you go with?
Can I put 35's on a 2 1/2 inch lift or should I just do 33's? I am currently running 31's on a 1997 TJ with a 2 and a half inch lift.
35s will look better on a 2.5!
@@DIRTROADCRED Great! I thought I had to settle for 33’s. Thank you so much for the information. 👍🏼
What offset are the wheels? You didn't tell us.
I still want to know why he didn't go with falcons and went with fox
Price lol
What tail lights are those?
Here ya go
th-cam.com/video/S_RVpN1XKbw/w-d-xo.html
I need to find someone to sponsor my build😂 I'm having a hard time spending on mudflaps 😢
haha! Start the channel
