Giyu was definitely one of the characters that benefited a lot from the changes, along with Makomo, Sabito, and Shinobu. Shame that Sakonji got nerfed though
I’m surprised an entertainment one did not come out after gyutaro was released but maybe we’ll get one either halfway of swordsmith village arc being done or after the whole season is done

As a noob played this ashira is my main now I like everything on him and since I cannot block as good as experience players on ladder the skill parry of him is amazing I was able to win to way more stronger players, but still don’t now how to dash in to the air 😢
I’ve literally played over 100 matches in 1 night trying to master giyus dead calm (not his ultimate) as of recent I have been practicing parry’s… my giyu is already dangerous af if I can master parry’s I can only imagine. My defense would be unfair honestly.my defense turns to offense. I make my opponent waste their 1st assist save… after that it’s all over… I trap them again but this time they have no assist save so I can eat at least 50% of their health….
I'm just a noob. I played a little, unlocked Shinobu, played some more quit for a while. Came back, just unlocked tengen, gyutaro and grinded for Giyu. Idk what each character's stats history is, but Giyu and tengen are quite nice
You mentioned that a close range Giyu can do pretty much anything he wants, paraphrased. So I appear, to offer some Close Range Giyu counters. For slayers, first let's fight water with water, Giyu can (in theory) counter another Giyu. Then you have Urokodaki, with his traps he can interrupt Giyu. Onto the Demons, and first we have what I think might be Giyu's hard counter: Tamayo and Yushiro. Suprising I know. Yushiro's Guard Skill is pretty much any close range fighters nightmare if the Yushiro knows how to abuse it. For other demons, can't go wrong with Gyutaro. His Flying Blood Scythes with their delay mechanic means he can Interrupt an overzealous Giyu if the scythes are still out while Guyu starts his offense. That's all folks, back to my hole now. @@twicejaeger6997 Fair. I can't really test it, so it was primarily theory crafting. After looking into it further: The Urokodaki counter isn't a hard counter. If you attack using any special, the trap disappears before it can do damage, or Giyu counters his way through it. Mind you, my testing was subpar, so this could be wrong since Urokodaki couldn't move in my tests
@@bubbadthepatato yeah Gyu is one of the hardest characters to do trap resets on since he can just use his parry button instead of the regular parry and get a huge reward
i had a question couldnt find an answer to.. about Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles tell me if this is normal... i tried playing online today and im in EU and my server is EU but i get put with ppl on Asia server or any other server and i lag cus of that... is that normal? and if not is there a fix to it? and on top of that the game skips frames a bit and skips sound its just not smooth and my pc is very good and net 2 ( i started playing thegame 2 days ago... first time i tried online was today and how i see it its just like naruto storm 4... unplayable online) please help
After slowly familiriaring myself with the mechanics of the game, it is clear that this game is vastly superior to Storm. It's what Storm 4 could have been. Hopefully Connections will implement alot from Demon Slayer.
Practicing my parrys because tengen uzui is so OP it’s ridiculous… you think giyu is fast? Tengen has the speed of giyu and strength of rengoku it’s pretty ridiculous. Definitely my least favorite character to play against
