idc how many characters i dont care if theres a story i just want better netcode and better servers like pls i beg this game is amazing with a few very big issues
There is no servers, its peer to peer like in storm. And this game even have no lobby system and makes u play only vs the same rank which make this game unplayable online because u cant find any people if no one plays on the same rank...if storm connection have the same system in online they killed the game
in my opinion the only issue are players with lacking skill issues who quit the game so there arent so much players left, and then quitting is also trash
Personally, I don’t know if the Yoriichi Type Zero will be a playable character. However, I do think a sequel will have Yoriichi himself in it, possibly as a secret character (Or even a superboss in the story mode).
Despite the the rocky start, the foundation of DSHC is something beautiful. However long it takes I'm really excited for the potential of a Demon Slayer 2.
I personally think that they are gona pull a storm 4 and have to animate intinity casle first before its shown in the anime and if they do I hope they make something that for the final phase of muzan all the hashira are there exept for rengoku and they are all doing indivisual combos or maybe even something you can do online with a custom character? eventually I hope we get a shinobi striker equivalent for demon slayer they have a lot to work with in this way
Here are my thoughts on Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2. Story mode: This may sound odd, but I honestly think a sequel’s story would cover the entire remainder of the story. For you anime-onlys, there actually isn’t much left to adapt. Here’s what we would see: - The Entertainment District Arc - The Swordsmith Village Arc - The Hashira Training Arc - The Infinity Castle Arc - The Sunrise Countdown Arc This may seem like a bold prediction, but if a sequel were to just adapt the parts of the anime that haven’t been covered yet, a hypothetical third game would be needed to close out the story, and the whole thing would end up just being the Infinity Castle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc. And if I’m being honest, Hantengu doesn’t really carry the proper “final boss energy” to close out the story mode by himself. I think a story mode devoted to just a bunch of fights against Daki and Gyutaro with a bunch of different characters, then a bunch of fights against Hantengu’s clones, would be a little boring for a story mode, in all honesty. Now, let’s go over a few ideas for boss fights we will see. I’m not giving a full breakdown of every fight we’ll see here, but just a few thoughts I had (WARNING: TONS OF MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD): - I don’t know if CyberConnect2 would do this, since there are fights in their past games that should have been forced-loss battles that weren’t, but I think Shinobu vs. Doma should either be a one-phase battle, or a forced-loss battle. Same goes for the start of the battle against Kokushibo; the fight would open with you playing as just Muichiro, and that would be a forced-loss battle, since Muichiro gets utterly dunked on by Kokushibo in the source material, then go into the later phases, where you’d pretty much just be playing as Sanemi and Gyomei most of the time. - The way they handled the Swamp Demon is rather interesting; they had you fight three enemies at once in phase one. I think you could translate this to certain fights, too, but with your allies instead. As in, we would see AI-controlled allies assisting you during certain boss fights. I’m thinking most of this would come into play during the Muzan battles. You know… since those fights are literally Everyone vs. Muzan. - Speaking of Muzan, the first battle against him should either be just one phase, then he drops you into the Infinity Castle, or the fight is cut short halfway through and then he drops you into the Infinity Castle. - When it comes to the Infinity Castle fights, I kind of envision sections where you fight a bunch of regular enemies while advancing down the halls of the castle leading up to each fight, much like Naruto Storm 3. - Speaking of the Infinity Castle, maybe you choose the order in which you do those fights. For example, you could choose to play through the fights against Doma before playing the Kaigaku boss fight if you wanted. - I have an interesting idea for the finale - Demon Tanjiro could just be a normal boss fight, but what if, instead, he was basically invincible, and all you could do was survive and wait for a quick-time event where Kanao sticks him with the drug to turn him human again. That would be interesting for a finale. - Speaking of the finale, I had an idea for how to close the story - Instead of Demon Tanjiro ending it off, after you finish that section, we go into Tanjiro’s mind, as he’s fighting Muzan from the inside, just like in the actual story… but instead of just making it a scene where he breaks free, we turn that into one last fight with Muzan in Tanjiro’s head. Maybe the fight is set in a field of wisteria flowers, with a rising sun in the background, where you have a one-on-one duel between Tanjiro and Muzan. It would just be one phase where Tanjiro has Surge permanently active, a little like the final phase of the Rui fight. On to the new characters: Slayers: - Tanjiro (Swordsmith Village) - Nezuko (Swordsmith Village) (Nezuko would be using her Advanced Form here, though since she has better control of it at this time, she’d be classed as a Slayer rather than a Demon). - Genya (I want to give Genya some sort of gimmick where he can eat a Demon’s flesh during battle and gain new moves, but that would be super situational in a game like this, and it would make him a little too easy to play around, since the best way to screw over any Genya mains would be to just not pick a Demon). - Muichiro - Mitsuri - Tanjiro (Infinity Castle) - Zenitsu (Final Battle) - Inosuke (Final Battle) - Kanao - Shinobu (Final Battle) (This one is a BIG maybe, and may only be used so all the currently manga-only techniques CyberConnect2 snuck into the current Shinobu’s moveset could be referred to by their proper names. Maybe they’ll just rename all of the existing Shinobu’s techniques accordingly, rather than making a new version). - Iguro - Sanemi - Gyomei - Yoriichi (I’m not sure whether the game would have you play through the entire Yoriichi flashback, but for all we know, they could. If they do, Yoriichi could be a playable character. I was also thinking Yoriichi could be a secret boss, similar to Rengoku in the current game. If they go that route, he’d have to be MUCH harder, though). - Tanjiro (Final Battle) Demons: - Gyokko (I’d personally make his true form the playable version. I kind of see him being a setup character, laying pots and making certain moves come from their position). - Hantengu (My idea for him goes like this - You’d be directly controlling not Hantengu, but Urami; Hantengu would just be hiding inside his body when you’re playing as him. I doubt Hantengu would try to fight somebody head-on, after all. Plus, Urami is just a bigger, more aggressive version of the real Hantengu. His skills would summon the other clones, a la Captain Ginyu from Dragon Ball FighterZ. Like Globku just said in this video, maybe we’d also make his Surge Mode form Zohakuten). - Akaza (Infinity Castle) (This one may be a stretch. Akaza shows off few of his techniques in his first appearance, but in his second, he shows off so many more, I think they may create a second Akaza just for that). - Doma - Kaigaku - Kokushibo - Muzan (We’d keep him in his final form for his playable version) - Tanjiro (Demon)
I honestly don’t understand why they won’t just update the game with every new season that’s what I was expecting and that makes the most sense that’s a whole year to just add the new content to the game…
It makes no financial sense. Unless you're willing to pay $40 bucks for each arc and its characters, then maybe you can discuss it with cyberconnect. And the hype around dlcs won't be as much as during game releases so sales are naturally down. They would need to cover that difference in sales. Production costs would probably be cheaper tho. It would require a lot of analysis of the costs and estimated sales to really see if it's even a financially viable route comparative to a new game.
I would definitely like a technique selection menu, it would add a lot to certain characters, exploring other forms for certain characters would be very positive, example 4th form of breathing flames for Rengoku, the possibility for characters like Shinobu to change a skill, Hinokami Tanjiro have diverse forms of Sun Breath. This is something we see in Naruto Storm, and could very well be put into practice in the next Hinokami Chronicles, of course doing as the first game already does, even if Sabito uses Water Wheel it is different from other characters.
Ok so here’s the thing, I don’t think they’llmake a whole new game only for two arcs. I think that it would be announced AFTER the demon slayer anime ends (presumably in early 2024) and it would release on early 2025( or march 2025).
I think it's possible but they spread out the chapters more. Instead of 3 chapters maybe 5. Lengthen each chapter with more story details. Maybe introduce side stories after completion of the chapter.
I’m with you. If they made it right now, the story mode would just be the Entertainment District Arc and the Swordsmith Village Arc. And let’s be real - Hantengu doesn’t carry the proper “final boss energy” to close out a whole story mode. Plus, the whole story mode would end up being nothing but a bunch of fights against Daki and Gyutaro, then a bunch of fights against Hantengu (And one fight with Gyokko). All of this is why I think the sequel would adapt the whole rest of the series.
@@gamingguy918 they might announce something come the December 22nd announcement, then with each film they keep the game content coming and alive… this is 3+ years of continuous hype, and then end it with the final season of the anime
I really liked the surge Transformation idea a character that could work with that could be nezuko since she as Semi demon form where she still has control of herself instead of the form she used against daki
Small Changes I would like to see: -New Announcers(like having hashiras say round 1 instead of it being sakonji) -Being able to change finishing cuts(sum of them are kinda bad so i would be nice to customize them)
I feel like the demons should stay solo for Lore. But I also think there should be System in place for slayers that allow team adjustments. Something like Skullgirls where you can have one super powerful slayer, two powerful slayers, or three normal slayers.
@@kingcrazy383For lore demons are forbidden from creating a group, Susamaru and Yahaba were specifically ordered from Muzan himself to both take down Tanjiro, while Gyutaro and Daki are an exception because they are brother and sister, but Muzan even declared that Daki brought Gyutaro to death, but even these two examples are wrong because Susamaru still fight on herself against Nezuko and Tamayo, while Tanjiro fights by himself against Yahaba; the same goes for Gyutaro which fights by himself against Tanjiro and Tengen while Daki fights by herself against Zen'itsu and Inosuke, the same pattern goes for every single demon in the entire series, they always end up fighting by themselves, that's why it wouldn't make sense lore wise.
@@kingcrazy383 They do somewhat work together on these occasions, but they more so trust/leave the other to take care of their own situation. The closest they get to outright cooperation is when Gyutaro gave Daki his eye to give her a power boost and to control her Blood Demon Art alongside her.
Do you think they’d go back and add the past demons that were missed but have movesets for? Like Swamp Demon, Spider Brother and Spider Mother? Them doing that brings the roster to now 8, which feels a bit better on that side of things. Plus like I said the movesets are already there from the past game already. I personally really want Spider Brother in the game as playable
I want the sister more cause she has a giant suffocating ball be crazy knockup combos especially if they make her agile and give her a lvl 2 or 3 dash she's be shooting she'd also be emmu 2.0 lmao but the mother would be a great puppeteer and if we ever can put demons on the same team it be nice if you put them with rui or any other spider member family you just get them all in the ult jumping their opps like sixth paths of pain/akatuski in storm
While I agree that the game you described would likely be worth it's cost I think that adding just 5 characters just doesn't sell well and is a massive risk for them to take , so I could see them adding in addition to what you said a Muichiro with a broken sword , a new Tanjiro preset like they did with sun breathing that has a pink sword (+ that 1 Thunder Breathing move he used to make him unique) and an additional one new Hashira from the trainning arc to give a taste of the DLCs in the free game. Edit: on second thought I could also see them giving us academy versions of the new characters to bump up the numbers
Yeah i miss when games tried to add as many characters as timely possible then add dlc later. Now its a set number and make characters for dlc now to release later
I see them adding characters from the past that were skipped in the first game Kyougai, the Spider family, the Temple Demon, the swordsmith guy as a joke character, etc.
I think they can fit like 9 characters at the start depends on how much material they borrow from and if they make game exclusive story content like non cannon characters like fighter z and the storm games did or just ad ocs that could also slow down the process of having to make new models and movesets for characters who have been animated or drawn for years
Be cool if they added the demon from rengokus manga or the rest of the lower 6 as playable but I highly doubt it I mostly see them adding new characters from season 3 4 and especially 5 maybe they'll add another joke character or characters who don't really fight like haganezuka and other sword smith's kaguya family and other corps members like kakushi slayers etc not all of them playable but like assists I guess that can only be support buff you heal you stun add to a combo or bail you out maybe even if supers and ultimates with certain characters lol even the girls from the butterfly mansion could be included we still missing 2 from the 5 senses squad genya and kanao will probably get them at release I'd also like to see aoi playable in some fashion I doubt tanjiro family or anyone's family members in flash backs will be included besides story stuff but that mysterious slayer and the doll could become playable just not at the start since we've barely seen him fight in the anime so far!
the way i see it for slight padding all the boss fights in the first game could be made to be basic fights and all the boss characters who weren't playable could be made to be playable justifying doing the same fights again in a different context they did that in the naruto games even if most of the bosses were playable to begin with alot of fights were revisited as just basic fights
A good prediction but I think fans are of off for season 4 release date. They seemingly drop a new season every year or every 1.5 year and the next season will be adapting a training arc which is super short and not much action so I can see it coming out next year. If the game drops in 2025 I can see Hashira Training already out but not the final arc.
Thank you for saying this. I’m saying there’s no way it takes them MORE time to make season 4 if it took a year and some change between the last ep of season 2 and start of season 3. June of 2025 for the next season is not plausible imo
Idk what needs to be animated from manga since I’m anime only but I’m still sure the next season whatever it is will come out next year. Guaranteed. Too much money for they’d miss to not do it
@kollie79Yes it is, it's explicitly labeled as "the hashira training arc" and they confirmed that they will also adapt some novels in order to make a full season out of it, so there is no way that they are planning to also release the last and most important arc in the series and didn't even mention it, they will make a big announcement about the infinity castle arc and it will probably happen at the end of the hashira training arc.
I think the game will release mid to late next year if we get a trailer or teaser something this year confirming its release and it is being worked on if not than probably earlier in 2025 but I doubt January-March cause that's like the dead part of the year where rary anything hype comes out besides Nintendo games lmao and companies get no profit it be a waste so maybe the summer most likely early fall September August just my prediction I doubt they would release it in November or December I only see rpg game companies do that not anime bandai fighting game companies and yeah infinity castle will be out but I think it will be a 24 episode season like season 1 well season 1 was 26 but you get what I'm saying that arc is like what 40-60 chapters long or something like that while sunrise countdown is like 23 or so chapters so it's normal and I think it'll be either a 11 or 12 episode season like season 2 and 3 or a 2 hour long movie or special episode and the ending will be like 2 episodes just Mt guess so we could expect a wave of characters to release at the start of the game and others to release in a free patch or in future dlc hopefully the first option unless they wanna make a 3rd game??
I think once you get into hashira training, there can be a mechanic/mode that's just a bunch of fights against generic demons, a "mission mode" if you will. Just something to keep things fresh, and fun; they could just reuse assets, and demon models but give them different attack combinations, as this wouldn't be as important of a mode. Just a thought honestly.
I could honestly see Hinokami Chronicles 2 going full on with the rest of the Demon Slayer story, featuring all of the remaining arcs. It might take a while to have the game released, but, if they don't intend on releasing story content as dlc, I don't see them releasing a third game for the final arc. Also, the game began development before the anime had aired. CC2 staff mentioned that they were working of ad material and Key Visuals to get the feel of the anime aesthetic. Since they already have a foundation to work it, I think it will take way, way less time to develop the sequel, but the release will most likely depend on the anime release.
Amazing video my guy! Like fr you painted the perfect picture of your image for this game n it is exactly what I've been praying they do! With transformations n letting you fight solo or in teams! Great minds think alike 😅
After recent events it looks like there’s allot more story mode and new content than expected since the next game will definitely release when the next movie comes out
4:38 for the hantengu fights it would be way better and interesting if you had to get them to a specific amount of health while having to play a time limit, so even if the time limit is over, you would still need to damage them enough to continue, or they could stage a full on loss for some fights
Interesting bit of news. So I recently went to a fan event where I met and got to speak to Zach Aguilar (voice of Tanjiro) and he mentioned something being in the works; to keep my eyes peeled. Says that it’s something different and not what we’d expect.
Or the training can begin at tanjiro vs mantid demon from begining of season 2 and there they can train you better than in first game because here you can swith with nezuko in training not like in sabito training where tanjiro was alone
I’ll say I hope that hantengu’s and gyokko aren’t just one single character, because we really got a lot from all the forms of each character, so what I think they could do is have hantengu and gyokko on the character select screen, but when you click on them you can choose the different forms, so hantengu will have 6-7 play able options and gyokko wil have 2 play able options.
They had Itachi and Pain and even Jiraiya playable despite all 3 dying in Storm 2 so no worries there, hell they have Kimimaro playable and he died all the way in Storm 1 (explained in text but you get what I mean)
Save it until the anime is done so we can have a complete game, and hire another studio specifically to do a game-original story, with more action based gameplay. Maybe more Nioh/Stranger of Paradise/Fate Samurai Remnant style gameplay.
One very important thing to state that I think you overlooked is the fact that a sequel game would take far less time than the first. Kind’ve like GOW4 to GOW Ragnorak, the dev team already has the assets from the first game and is basically just adding additional stuff. Such as some new moves, some new outfits etc but the combat combos is already created which I’d assume takes up the most time to create. Especially compared to the first game where they start from scratch which is why it took so long so tbh I think they can finish DSHC2 in half the time you stated. It’s up to just when the anime releases the final season, I think that’s when this game comes out. This leads to my second point. I don’t think they will stop at the Hashira training arc, just not much happens there. They can stop there especially after the Entertainment District Arc and Swordsmith Village Arc but we have to think about the next final game too. Would it really make any sense to have the final game be just one arc since there’s only one left? That just doesn’t make sense at all no matter how big the fights were. And releasing the shows finale as a DLC is out of the question, that’s just stupid. So I think the next game is going to be the final game since there will be no space to make a 3rd game because not enough content. So whenever the anime finalizes, I think the game will come out around 6 months after so my prediction is around 2027.
I'm respecting that the majority wants better fighting mechanics and net code but I'm leaning towards story mode with open world and not bits Also some rpg mechanics will be cherry on top demon slayer world is so creative like jutsus in naruto the possibilities are endless I hope everyone will play a demon slayer game that they like
Changes I'd make to the sequel (it's a bit of a read but I'd love to hear your guys' feedback) 1) Hantengu have 4 different slots as opposed to one. Think they are interesting enough to have their own move set, cause if they can make Murata his own character, they can make them their own. 2) Murata out the game (sorry murata fans). I feel like when they added him to the game it was the equivalent to when you're adding extra words to your essay to buff your word count. I can do without Murata and everything I feel like he did well in that game wasn't intentional to his move set, but an overlooked bug (like how fast he recovers on his first ability the water slash or the damage scaling it doesn't do as an assist). Tbh if they keep him in I wouldn't mind it's the least important change to me. 3) Increased movement speed for all characters. Instead of 3 tiers of movement speed, perhaps 4 maybe 5? So you really feel the difference in movement speed for that characters that exist to literally be fast. 4) Demon slayer solo play with 2 new abilities/ demon duo's. I'd love to play as the Rengoku you go up against at the end of the story mode in the game. 5) Alternate colours for your character should be an option when you select your character. You shouldn't only be able to access it when your opponent picks the same character as you. 6) I'd like a rework on the less popular characters you see (maybe remove orokodaki's trap make it more interesting). It would be cool if you could do some dumb stuff like Inosuke S2 takes damage reduction when he surges and it's explained by him moving his organs around. But a revamp on yahaba or lady T & yushiro is imperative. 7) Call the game "Demon Slayer: HK2" it just rolls off the tongue better. 8) I can understand if it's not possible to give 2 new moves to every slayer from previously, so maybe it's only something we see with the hashira's as a tribute to their strength in world. 9)If Murata comes back and we have to give him 2 extra moves in the game, one of his guard skills should be like his chant that replenishes meter instead of support. As for the original chant, they can replace it with something basic like a counter. 10) Rework awakened nezuko to be normal Nezuko's surge (only on solo mode). If that happens I think small nezuko should be treated as a demon and not a slayer e.g. cant play on maps during the day only night, can't be a duo to someone.
@@pandax5359 for sure, I’d just prefer they stretch him into 4 different characters and increase their character slot count. Maybe they could all get the same awakening
Very good ideas, but there's one extra area that needs to be discussed: Additional single player content beyond the story mode. Demon Slayer had barely any single player content outside of the story, which is not only against the standard for the fighting game genre (in which Arena fighters are a sub-genre of), but also very uncharacteristic of CC2. Yes they did improve a lot on the competitive side of the game, but they sacrificed the SP side of the game to do the work the competitive side. They need to add content that will give players reason to come back to the game after finishing the story, and not just online and Ranked matches. I'm not sure what other modes they can bring up, but they gotta bring up something, both in quality and quantity.
@@Invincibrodom That's a start, but it needs more than that. Maybe like a 3D beat'em up mode where you go through linear levels and beat demons, which I think it might be good for an IP called "Demon Slayer". Yes this is something that can be attached to the story mode and I know some people won't like to have the split after Naruto Storm 4, but I think that for adding good content both in quality and quantity, this will be a great addition too.
Just my thoughts about some topics from this video, it's kinda a lot so only read if you don't mind the length. 1st the release date of Hashira training arc. The release date is in no way, shape, or form gonna be in 2025, I'd be astonished if it was and I don't know what "fans" Globku was referring to because I simply researched the release dates of the 3 anime seasons and movie and S1 ended in Sep 2019, a year and 1 month later the movie came out in Oct 2020, then a year and 2 months later S2 came out in Dec 2021 and ended in Feb 2022, then a year and 2 months later S3 started in Apr 2023 and went to June 2023. All in all we have a year and 1 month wait, then 2 waits that were both a year and 2 months, so clearly S4 Hashira training will probably be released in or close to Aug 2024. Nothing at all against Globku, I enjoy his content and this video was fun and good, but that little bit of info was so off 2nd thing is when Globku says he thinks the Hashira training arc is not movie material, and that is just not true, it could 100% be a movie because in the manga the Mugen train arc was 13 chapters, which was 7 episodes in season 2. Hashira training is only 9 chapters and here's my issue with Hashira training in general. It SHOULD NOT be its own arc, I like the arc but it is not long enough to even be close to considered it's own arc. If Ufotable gives it a full arc treatment, then it might have filler or scenes will be super padded out to fill a season. Maybe they'll include a little beginning portion of Infinity castle arc in it but they really should of just combined the 2 arcs, no real reason they couldn't of since S1 was kinda long, ngl they're gonna have to do a longer than normal season anyway since Infinity castle is 47 chapters long, it's the longest single arc and only 6 chapters less than S1. Even though I like Hashira training, it lowkey already pales in comparison to damn near any other arc and that conbined with this anime situation is really not good. To wrap up, about a "Hinokami chronicles 2". Me personally, I think they should either release another dlc for S3 characters, and then a sequel once Infinity castle is over, or the same thing but not release a dlc. Reason being is a dlc would be very awesome and it would be content for us, and releasing a game after Infinity castle would be perfect because we would have essentially every character we could actually want except Muzan and maybe, maybe another form of Tanjiro but that's kind of a stretch, which would be easily solved by releasing a dlc with the final arc added to story mode as well as adding a playable Muzan and possibly another form of Tanjiro. This is the ideal world but I know these developers well enough that this ideal will not be reality. Clarification, releasing a sequel after Hashira training would genuinely be really idiotic, because honest to God, I swear nothing new in terms of a character or moveset is seen whatsoever, if they made playable Hashira like Sanemi or Gyomei, no doubt it would either be inaccurate to avoid spoilers, or it would have spoilers of what moves they use. The arc is how it sounds, it's training, no fighting, no new moves, no characters showing their abilities for the first time. Thank you to whoever reads all this, I hope it was informative at least.
I think they’d likely add another Tanjiro from the village as well though, maybe a Nez if they can pull something off. That’s around 7 new additions, 5 pretty much guaranteed. Now, you’re also forgetting character additions from the past that could be added that weren’t before like Kyogai for instance which could also be included into the game. They definitely could pull off a decent amount of additions with this.
I think they will. The introduction of new versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke using the skills they showed off during the Entertainment District Arc effectively set the precedent for that. I do think there will be a Swordsmith Village Nezuko; she uses her Advanced form in this arc, but now has better control over it, so I think we’ll see this new Nezuko act as a Slayer, but use a lot more abilities reminiscent of the Advanced form.
Why would hashira training come out 2 years after season 3 ecpecially with it being so short even if we get infinity castle it will only be about June of next year that we get the season at the latest September of next year
I like the story but knowing then they might make it multiple chapters on each story to have more pages or some das what I just think or 4 long pages🤷♂️maybe they go a new route but at the of the day I just want to play thru the story Good video glob
It would be waaaaay better just to expand off the first game. Demon Slayer really isn’t as big as Naruto to have sequels. It’s be much better if they tweaked & added new mechanics/characters/etc. to the original. Kind of like how they are doing it w/ Storm 4 Connections.
tbh i really want the game to be able to be where you choose your breathing in the campaign and you make your own guy even if its like just your a side character instead of a new story it would still be better then running around as tanjiro in my opinion but idk
if its the same system of the gameplay then its fine actually but for some reason idk why What about if Demon Slayer gets an sekiro type game like the same fighting style but with entirely demon slayer, that would be peak actually like I feel that KNY should be an almost open world game but with missions on it so you can go around that world. Its just an idea but i think it would work very fine
Would love a new character human or demon. You know people would go crazy for a new character and a game original story. Maybe covering past hashira & kizuki and a new breathing style or twist on already existing ones.
I expect it to not be a rushed launch that is locked at 30fps. That kept me away from buying the game for a long time. No downgrades or simplifications to story mode. See how we first had free roaming in Konoha in UNS1, but then for UNS2 instead of making the place more interactable and improving on it they made it a much simpler series of corridors. And that's about it. Some combat mechanic changes wouldn't hurt, but since I don't really care about playing against other people all the online stuff or longevity of the game doesn't really matter to me. I just want a fun Story mode.
Ps5 allows u to play at 60fps but if ur opponent isn't using one then u switch to 30fps but tbh it kinda weird how ult animations are always 30 fps no matter what fps ur on
@@hydra_drizz2164 My opponent was always playing on PS5 also because I don't play online =D. Ult animations being locked at 30fps probably had to do with some sort of optimization thing for PS4 and were hard coded that way instead of being made correctly. Hopefully with the next game being a current gen title the bare minimum for eveything should be 60fps (hopefully 120fps options as well).
@@hydra_drizz2164 It seems you never experienced anything over 60fps. I'm mainly a PC player. My monitor can only do up to 165fps, so I play around that range. A game correctly made doesn't run slower, it runs at the same speed but it's much, much smoother. DMC5 at 165fps for example looks and plays incredible.
Why are you expecting the next arc to drop a whole 2 years after this recent one? There was only like around a year gap (and about 2 months) between the end of the “Entertainment District” and the beginning of the “Swordsmith Village”. For them to drop it in June 2025, it would be like 2 years between seasons. Now, unless they plan to conjoin these next 2 arcs (for a mega season like season 1) or have the following one drop soon after, then I don’t see why it would take even longer than the last 2. This is especially the case when the next arc is as short as it is.
If they split the following arc and merge it to cover with the training arc and then finish the following arc at a later date (if there is a reasonable pause-point given that the arc is substantially larger than most of the others), then it’s also not past the possibility that it takes around the same as the last time-branch.
i know its like, completely optioanl and doesnt affect gameplay, but i wished the game had team supers. Since teamwork between slayers is a big core mechanic as well as work togheter in the show, it felt like a possibility
I’ve already came to terms with the fact that the game won’t come out until infinity castle arc comes out so they can add all the hashiras and upper moons to the game as well as Lady Kanae and Kaigaku
They should wait till the series is done so that we get all the modes and characters at the same time along with the biggest story mode and a bigger package🤔
I think we could have like conect ultimates like in storm series an exemple of one wich could be at the game is tanjiro and nezuko when nezuko put some of her blood at tanjiro s nichirin and the he do his new atack of sun breathing
with the fact that they realsed the new season this year they should bite the bullet and add the infinity casstle arc which can have muzan and nakime as dlc becuase if they add infinity casttle in hinokami chornicles 2 they can add way more demons and slayers that wont be dlc
Hey globku i finished the manga of demon slayer and without getting into spoilers i can promise you that there is literally no way that the next game will be all the way to the training arc without the next arc included.
I hope they take this into consideration: Gyokko’s surge would be his FINAL FORM (the one only 3 ppl have seen) Edit: I wrote that before he said that at the end
Definitely need 2 v 2 mode. But also I think we will get a the game in 2024 and they’ll add DLC as the anime goes on. The first game already laid the ground work
If they make haganezuka a boss or a side boss I will be very happy even more so if they make yoriichi type zero playable I know it’s unlikely but let me hope
Yo i like this video a lot and think it would be great but imma be real and say i dont think they're gonna put this much effort into the game, it'd be great to have you as a game director or whatever you call it for them but i just don't think they'll include this much, great video though I like this concept.
I’m calling it, or attempt to, The second game won’t be a thing until almost the end of the series, they’ll just drip feed some dlcs maybe till then but I feel they’re going to wait for the big battles to start cashing out and releasing a new game fit with the untouched parts of the story where the first one left off
I think(this is my guess) the second demon slayer hinokami chronicles game will come out at the end of the hashira training arc because Bandai probably wants the Naruto game they made to get some attention for a few years but that’s my guess
idc how many characters i dont care if theres a story i just want better netcode and better servers like pls i beg this game is amazing with a few very big issues
Fr they could easily do that with one update
if there is 2 characters would you care?
There is no servers, its peer to peer like in storm. And this game even have no lobby system and makes u play only vs the same rank which make this game unplayable online because u cant find any people if no one plays on the same rank...if storm connection have the same system in online they killed the game
dawg if they make a two then that’s litteraly 60 dollars waste man. plus dlc and stuff
in my opinion the only issue are players with lacking skill issues who quit the game so there arent so much players left, and then quitting is also trash
Seeing the mark appear on slayers when they go into surge mode would hype asfffff
Facts
Hope they get an aura resembling their breathing style when they get the mark also hope it's a costume option that be dope
Honestly I think the yorichi training bot will be a character that you get for beating the story mode
Imagine they give you the actual yoriichi instead of the training dummy
Personally, I don’t know if the Yoriichi Type Zero will be a playable character. However, I do think a sequel will have Yoriichi himself in it, possibly as a secret character (Or even a superboss in the story mode).
@@Invincibrodom They won't
Second games are faster to make cause the bases are already done. It wouldn't take the same amout of time as the first
W
Exactly, I said the same thing, look at the storm series for example
No need for a second game, whatever they add can be DLC tbh
what if they aren't even working on a second lol
@@Fryingpan535 💀💀💀 then this man made this vid for no reason if that’s the case. Tbh they could just add characters and story as dlc continuously
Despite the the rocky start, the foundation of DSHC is something beautiful. However long it takes I'm really excited for the potential of a Demon Slayer 2.
I personally think that they are gona pull a storm 4 and have to animate intinity casle first before its shown in the anime and if they do I hope they make something that for the final phase of muzan all the hashira are there exept for rengoku and they are all doing indivisual combos or maybe even something you can do online with a custom character?
eventually I hope we get a shinobi striker equivalent for demon slayer they have a lot to work with in this way
00:13 There's "Demon Slayer: Sweep the board" 🤷🏼♂
Thats not really a sequel
Here are my thoughts on Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2.
Story mode:
This may sound odd, but I honestly think a sequel’s story would cover the entire remainder of the story. For you anime-onlys, there actually isn’t much left to adapt. Here’s what we would see:
- The Entertainment District Arc
- The Swordsmith Village Arc
- The Hashira Training Arc
- The Infinity Castle Arc
- The Sunrise Countdown Arc
This may seem like a bold prediction, but if a sequel were to just adapt the parts of the anime that haven’t been covered yet, a hypothetical third game would be needed to close out the story, and the whole thing would end up just being the Infinity Castle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc.
I’m not giving a full breakdown of every fight we’ll see here, but just a few thoughts I had (WARNING: TONS OF MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD):
- I don’t know if CyberConnect2 would do this, since there are fights in their past games that should have been forced-loss battles that weren’t, but I think Shinobu vs.
On to the new characters:
Slayers:
- Tanjiro (Swordsmith Village)
- Nezuko (Swordsmith Village) (Nezuko would be using her Advanced Form here, though since she has better control of it at this time, she’d be classed as a Slayer rather than a Demon).
- Genya (I want to give Genya some sort of gimmick where he can eat a Demon’s flesh during battle and gain new moves, but that would be super situational in a game like this, and it would make him a little too easy to play around, since the best way to screw over any Genya mains would be to just not pick a Demon).
- Muichiro
- Mitsuri
- Tanjiro (Infinity Castle)
- Zenitsu (Final Battle)
- Inosuke (Final Battle)
- Kanao
- Shinobu (Final Battle) (This one is a BIG maybe, and may only be used so all the currently manga-only techniques CyberConnect2 snuck into the current Shinobu’s moveset could be referred to by their proper names. Maybe they’ll just rename all of the existing Shinobu’s techniques accordingly, rather than making a new version).
- Iguro
- Sanemi
- Gyomei
- Yoriichi (I’m not sure whether the game would have you play through the entire Yoriichi flashback, but for all we know, they could. If they do, Yoriichi could be a playable character. I was also thinking Yoriichi could be a secret boss, similar to Rengoku in the current game. If they go that route, he’d have to be MUCH harder, though).
- Tanjiro (Final Battle)
Demons:
- Gyokko (I’d personally make his true form the playable version.
- Doma
- Kaigaku
- Kokushibo
- Muzan (We’d keep him in his final form for his playable version)
- Tanjiro (Demon)
And the gaiden too!
That may be good for the DLC bin; Hairo has some cool abilities.
Given how the game has an extra fight against rengoku I think you're muzan idea is excellent
Thanks!
You cooked
it would be cool to play as the hantengu emotions , it also adds more characters to play with
I honestly don’t understand why they won’t just update the game with every new season that’s what I was expecting and that makes the most sense that’s a whole year to just add the new content to the game…
Because money
They will probably just have the light attacks, heavy, counter etc take up the breathing techniques
All I need is more content and characters with different moves because just cause u have one move different doesn't make the character different
All of this is why I think the sequel would adapt the whole rest of the series.
its confirmed. hinokami chronicles 2 is happening....AND IT'LL(most likely) COVER THE REST OF THE ARCS!
Was literally just talking about this with my friend and you said everything I said to him about what's most likely to be expected 😅 awesome.
It actually may be a bit sooner because they have a lot of models pre built
Small Changes I would like to see:
-New Announcers(like having hashiras say round 1 instead of it being sakonji)
-Being able to change finishing cuts(sum of them are kinda bad so i would be nice to customize them)
I feel like the demons should stay solo for Lore. But I also think there should be System in place for slayers that allow team adjustments.
Something like Skullgirls where you can have one super powerful slayer, two powerful slayers, or three normal slayers.
Wdym for lore, some demons fight together such as Gyutaro and Daki, and Susamaru and Yahaba.
i think they should be mixed like Yushiro and Tamayo where itll be a new character but 2 in 1 with the option to play them alone
Also their will most likely be 7 new characters like last time(tanjiro, nezuko, genya, mitsuri, tokito, hantengu( 6-7 forms) and gyokko(2 forms)
Yesss! I think so
Imagine spider mother she'd be exactly like a puppet master from storm that would be such cool character design
I see them adding characters from the past that were skipped in the first game
Kyougai, the Spider family, the Temple Demon, the swordsmith guy as a joke character, etc.
I think the second game would come out after the anime is done since the hashira training arc is short and then there is only an arc or 2 left
They added extra content and it’s 12 episodes
Guaranteed. Too much money for they’d miss to not do it
Idk anybody who thinks it’s comin out in 2025 😂😂
@kollie79Yes it is, it's explicitly labeled as "the hashira training arc" and they confirmed that they will also adapt some novels in order to make a full season out of it, so there is no way that they are planning to also release the last and most important arc in the series and didn't even mention it, they will make a big announcement about the infinity castle arc and it will probably happen at the end of the hashira training arc.
Gyokko might be in his true form to be honest. Imagine going against some guy hopping in a pot for running
After recent events it looks like there’s allot more story mode and new content than expected since the next game will definitely release when the next movie comes out
Why do people think a 9 chapter arc is gonna take nearly 2 years to make? Id say sometime 2024 hopefully first half of the year
It needs an arcade mode, a survival mode and or a boss rush mode. Any mode other than just “vs cpu” and “story“ for my single player homies.
4:38 for the hantengu fights it would be way better and interesting if you had to get them to a specific amount of health while having to play a time limit, so even if the time limit is over, you would still need to damage them enough to continue, or they could stage a full on loss for some fights
If it’s October 2025 then there might also be the infinity castle arc aswell because that will probably be out by then
Y’all think like everyone would get new skill button attacks, or different ultimates or surges?
I definitely don’t think a sequel will release until around infinity castle
Interesting bit of news. So I recently went to a fan event where I met and got to speak to Zach Aguilar (voice of Tanjiro) and he mentioned something being in the works; to keep my eyes peeled. Says that it’s something different and not what we’d expect.
The 4th season is coming out this month so when do you think the game is going to come out
8:05 Yeah seeing how ED dlc Tanjiro didn't manifest his mark in his surge had me like damn what a missed opportunity
Well last game ended at the secret rengoku battle wait if in the new game you start from there and that's the tutorial part
Or the training can begin at tanjiro vs mantid demon from begining of season 2 and there they can train you better than in first game because here you can swith with nezuko in training not like in sabito training where tanjiro was alone
I’ll say I hope that hantengu’s and gyokko aren’t just one single character, because we really got a lot from all the forms of each character, so what I think they could do is have hantengu and gyokko on the character select screen, but when you click on them you can choose the different forms, so hantengu will have 6-7 play able options and gyokko wil have 2 play able options.
they Hantengus all do like one thing each lol they could make it like Pain, an all in one character
@@Max-zg6ld well what I mean is that you can choose to play as each of the clones separately.
Since demons got 5 skills they can make him into 1 with each skill using a different demons move ill be good with that tbh
They managed to make makomo who doesn’t even fight in the anime, I’m sure hantengu and gyokko won’t be a problem to make
@@user-fd3vn5yq3h yeah, and if they didn’t include the 4 main clones, that’d be like not giving hantengu his BDA at all.
All I need for a sequel is that they keep rengoku on the roster, I need my boy to return.
Even if he is a jelly-filled doughnut.
They had Itachi and Pain and even Jiraiya playable despite all 3 dying in Storm 2 so no worries there, hell they have Kimimaro playable and he died all the way in Storm 1 (explained in text but you get what I mean)
@@GreekShinobi223you’re a smart guy
I'm respecting that the majority wants better fighting mechanics and net code but I'm leaning towards story mode with open world and not bits
Also some rpg mechanics will be cherry on top demon slayer world is so creative like jutsus in naruto the possibilities are endless
I hope everyone will play a demon slayer game that they like
I personally think that there shouldn't be a second game until the infinity castle/final countdown arc
Changes I'd make to the sequel (it's a bit of a read but I'd love to hear your guys' feedback)
1) Hantengu have 4 different slots as opposed to one.
Ngl they seem good changes; i would also change Tamayo and Yushiro as i personally would like to see them as separate playable characters
I doubt hantengu would be 4 diff slots. I know what you're saying but it sounds super unlikely.
@@pandax5359 for sure, I’d just prefer they stretch him into 4 different characters and increase their character slot count. Maybe they could all get the same awakening
@@angelobarberio6391 definitely, I wonder how Tamayo would play

i don’t think the hashira training arc is movie material either but since it’s the shortest arc i believe they might jus throw it all into a movie
I think it’s possible for maybe 2024 with development time being shorter with them having a base to work with than starting with nothing
Like survival mode for instance
@@Invincibrodom That's a start, but it needs more than that. Maybe like a 3D beat'em up mode where you go through linear levels and beat demons, which I think it might be good for an IP called "Demon Slayer". Yes this is something that can be attached to the story mode and I know some people won't like to have the split after Naruto Storm 4, but I think that for adding good content both in quality and quantity, this will be a great addition too.
hantengu should be 4 different characters being install? the demon skill swap through all 4 with different skills that swap
Nothing at all against Globku, I enjoy his content and this video was fun and good, but that little bit of info was so off
2nd thing is when Globku says he thinks the Hashira training arc is not movie material, and that is just not true, it could 100% be a movie because in the manga the Mugen train arc was 13 chapters, which was 7 episodes in season 2.
Why would hashira training come out 2 years after season 3 ecpecially with it being so short even if we get infinity castle it will only be about June of next year that we get the season at the latest September of next year
there would also be a version of ssva tanjiro as a new character and possibly nezuko as well but 100% tanjiro
I like the story but knowing then they might make it multiple chapters on each story to have more pages or some das what I just think or 4 long pages🤷♂️maybe they go a new route but at the of the day I just want to play thru the story Good video glob
tbh it makes sense to make the training arc a movie because the training arc it self dosent cover that many chapters
It would be waaaaay better just to expand off the first game. Demon Slayer really isn’t as big as Naruto to have sequels.
It’s be much better if they tweaked & added new mechanics/characters/etc. to the original. Kind of like how they are doing it w/ Storm 4 Connections.
I think season 2 season 3 for Netflix watchers would be an update in 1 because the characters from that arc are already in number1
tbh i really want the game to be able to be where you choose your breathing in the campaign and you make your own guy even if its like just your a side character instead of a new story it would still be better then running around as tanjiro in my opinion but idk
This is every thing we need!
Do you think we will get Muzan or will they save home for the last game ?
if its the same system of the gameplay then its fine actually but for some reason idk why
What about if Demon Slayer gets an sekiro type game like the same fighting style but with entirely demon slayer, that would be peak actually like I feel that KNY should be an almost open world game but with missions on it so you can go around that world. Its just an idea but i think it would work very fine
I’m here from the future actually it comes early 2025
@AndresLionheart u gotta go to ur settings and change it also u don't want 120 it gonna make the game feel slower
@AndresLionheart I don't doubt it run smoother but for anime games u don't want it to run that smooth
I actually think they'll do a SSV arc dlc, then drop a new arc after the Mugen Castle arc, with DLC for smaller character
I love How cc2 is like studio Mappa for anime games
Why are you expecting the next arc to drop a whole 2 years after this recent one? There was only like around a year gap (and about 2 months) between the end of the “Entertainment District” and the beginning of the “Swordsmith Village”. For them to drop it in June 2025, it would be like 2 years between seasons. Now, unless they plan to conjoin these next 2 arcs (for a mega season like season 1) or have the following one drop soon after, then I don’t see why it would take even longer than the last 2. This is especially the case when the next arc is as short as it is.
If they split the following arc and merge it to cover with the training arc and then finish the following arc at a later date (if there is a reasonable pause-point given that the arc is substantially larger than most of the others), then it’s also not past the possibility that it takes around the same as the last time-branch.
add crossplay, better netcode, ANYTHING to make more replayability and im sold
I also hope they do something with the uppermoons rather then it just being a cutscene
i know its like, completely optioanl and doesnt affect gameplay, but i wished the game had team supers. Since teamwork between slayers is a big core mechanic as well as work togheter in the show, it felt like a possibility
Im just wondering if they would update this game or make a separate game for demon slayer hinokami chronicles 2?
Same, because it would be unfair to people who already bought the game, leaving them without content, players to fight with, etc..
well this aged like fine milk
We are still in 2024 so yeah we still have time
I’ve already came to terms with the fact that the game won’t come out until infinity castle arc comes out so they can add all the hashiras and upper moons to the game as well as Lady Kanae and Kaigaku
They should wait till the series is done so that we get all the modes and characters at the same time along with the biggest story mode and a bigger package🤔
i love gyokko so much aaaaa cant wait
I think we could have like conect ultimates like in storm series an exemple of one wich could be at the game is tanjiro and nezuko when nezuko put some of her blood at tanjiro s nichirin and the he do his new atack of sun breathing
Never got a chance to play this game it looked fun is it even worth playing now?
yeah it’s fun if you like demon slayer
@@rlan.0Yeah if you like Demon slayer I agree
Hmmm what your the maps going to look like in the Jjk game 🤔🤔🤔
We need custom caracter creation and some form of open world
with the fact that they realsed the new season this year they should bite the bullet and add the infinity casstle arc which can have muzan and nakime as dlc becuase if they add infinity casttle in hinokami chornicles 2 they can add way more demons and slayers that wont be dlc
Idc how good the game is I hope it has good netcode
i just wanna be able to play as muichiro lol
I thought since we got Entertainment District Characters we would just get a new story as DLC but I guess I had my hopes up too much.
Unrelated but do you mind predicting tge other 6 PW4 character and their kits pls
I don't mind an hour long vid lol
Hey globku i finished the manga of demon slayer and without getting into spoilers i can promise you that there is literally no way that the next game will be all the way to the training arc without the next arc included.
I finished the manga too. They would have 3 whole seasons for this game. Way more than they had for the 1st. I disagree
@@Globkudo you think that they would eventually will add DKT or he would be just a boss fight?
A good netcode and 60 FPS is all I ask for. The rest is negotiable
It took two and a half years to develop hinokami chronicles, not 3 and a half. So it should be released by October 2024
I hope they take this into consideration: Gyokko’s surge would be his FINAL FORM (the one only 3 ppl have seen)
Edit: I wrote that before he said that at the end
Definitely need 2 v 2 mode. But also I think we will get a the game in 2024 and they’ll add DLC as the anime goes on.
The first game already laid the ground work
Yk what they might do is add Yuchiro tsugikuni as a new character, because he obviously was a demon slayer and he has come already
Training arc being a series is gonna be like 4 episodes
I think they could make another tanjio based off season three or like the ed trio in the game
So are they going to add all the dlc characters from the anime or?
I think it will have 1 more arc after The training arc. Since it's the final arc.
I’m calling it, or attempt to,
The second game won’t be a thing until almost the end of the series, they’ll just drip feed some dlcs maybe till then but I feel they’re going to wait for the big battles to start cashing out and releasing a new game fit with the untouched parts of the story where the first one left off
I think(this is my guess) the second demon slayer hinokami chronicles game will come out at the end of the hashira training arc because Bandai probably wants the Naruto game they made to get some attention for a few years but that’s my guess
Id say they will add Yoriichi type zero as a playable characters. Kinda what they did with murata
