I feel like this franchise would do well in a Sekiro style where if you break guards, you can open up for beheadings easier or something

personally, i don’t skip the cutscenes when speedrunning, i like to know what is happening in the story and if i skip its just fight fight fight fight and fight

Hey for the akaza phase 2- i’m not sure if it actually saves time seen as i’m not a speed runner but when it starts i decided to do a chase dash to see if i could reach akaza before he jumped and somehow i managed to do a bit of damage. I think it cancelled his jump too sooo it could be a time saver of a coupe seconds

I'm pretty sure, depending on your speed/reflexes, it's around a 2/3 chance to fail (at least during my playthrough)

the series cant be spedrun , they have exact time for episodes and u wouldnt rlly skip anything , it would come down to how fast u can switch to next episode

Oh I would love to maybe try speedrunning but I’ve never tried before. The technical side intrigues me and it would be a great way to get better at the game since I don’t have Nintendo online and my family doesn’t want to face me at pvp since I’m the best of us (Giyu main btw). I’ll look into it more and see if I want to try any% or maybe 100%. Perhaps some obscure speed runs like leave your family behind%
I would like to add that I only have Hinokami chronicles on Switch so I would be the only speed runner there rn…
