I can just feel this car going down the road with no road feel...just floats,a buddy of mine had this exact car only white over red . Great riding living rooms!😁
Bill you’re really blessed. To be doing this on almost a daily basis and with your son no less is awesome! I don’t have children and have to enjoy my classic cars by myself. Most my friends have no interest in them either sadly
Great video, you do mention at 4:31 that "the 350 has got really good power and is really smooth"...the engine is a 455 cu. in. with 205 net horsepower.
@@christianbugatticg That is quite interesting. I wonder how many were built during the strike? I realize that GM offered a rebate to those that took the option. Hard to fathom this large and heavy of a car with an already strangled 455 V8 with a weaker 350 V8. It would seem that Buick offered a $159 credit for taking this 155HP engine over the 205HP standard engine. It can be checked by the VIN number which will have "J" in the 5th position instead of a "Y". Of course sane drivers (not me) would never have noticed! Again, great video.
@@christianbugatticgwow didn't know this..i can believe it since it was being phased out. Man they got ripped off..a 350 isn't big enough to move this car like it should!! Nice car though
My dad bought a new 76’, limited 4 door, silver/black velour interior.. 455, I learned to drive in it.. at 14 around the mall on Sundays (blue laws back in the 70’s.. stores were closed 😂😂😂😂.
Holy moly! Incredible - it;'s still new! 18 ft?😍 Ditch the tires, tires expire after 10 years, no matter the tread, I guess you could keep them if its going to sit in a museum.
Gosh, that beauty leaves me speechless.
Thanks!!
Absolutely beautiful car! Something I can only dream about at this time.
No problem! Thanks for the compliment!
I absolutely love the Buicks and Oldsmobiles from this time frame. Beautiful 225, Thanks for sharing!
They are the best!!

Top-of-the-line Buick luxury. Beautiful.
It sure is!
Another beautiful classic! 👍
Thanks!
Def a follower of your channel. Great cars you seem to “find” that are up my alley. I was 10 when this car came out and remember them fondly
Awesome, thanks!
Nice car Bill! Basically a Coupe deVille
Yes that is true

Not on this one! There was a shortage of 455's at the end of 1976. A very few of these had 350's, this was one of them. Thanks!

not sure but I felt as if this one should have sold for more. @@anneannabu5130
Beautiful car! Love the triple red !!!
Me too!
BEAUTIFUL BUICK
Thanks!
I ordered a black one with sun roof and all options but power passenger seat and CB, or extra padded Landu roof, limited was almost $11,000
Wow! That would be worth some money today!

Yes, only if you don't plan on driving it.
When those cars came out of Detroit in '76, where they hand sprayed?
I am thinking so..
NOW LIVE!! bringatrailer.com/listing/1976-buick-electra-225-limited-coupe-3/
This Car drives very cool
Super smooth Buick!
Do you have to be Carnival Cruise ship certified to drive this Boat???
HAHA! Capt Stubing at the wheel!
THE ELECTRA 225 WAS A BETTER CAR, BY FAR, THEN THE CADILLACS OF THE SAME ERA. 72 WAS A GREAT YEAR ALSO.
THE 72 455, HAD TO BE UNDERRATED ON HORSE POWER. THE 72 I AM FAMILIAR WITH, HAULED ASS, BURNED RUBBER, AND WAS STONE QUIET.
Thanks!
What is the price
I sold it for around $12k
More interior pics would have helped.
I sold it on Bring a Trailer auction site, I had near 400 pictures inside and out and also had multiple videos.
My apologies. I didn't see that.@@christianbugatticg
no problem! Hope you saw what you were looking for! @@terrymeadows1827
You sure love these cars. I am thinking you are about 40 yrs old and a bit dull?
Lol!! Actually turn 55 this month. Far from dull....
