I wonder if that is why the inside of the wheel (covers) is color keyed with the landau roof. My Grandfather's (Dad's side) '75 Custom coupe had the actual wheels. I love those wheels. His was also white, but with that beautiful dark red/burgundy roof and (vinyl) interior.

I had one a 1976 custom a great car for ten years.i bought off the Irainian embassy in london uk as the change of regime. They didnt want anything american.there loss my gain.had store in a barn as here the garages are to small.rust got under the vinyl roof

Yeah I remember these cars and a lot of them came with power windows and locks as an option so this one wasn’t unloaded like it should’ve been ha ha ha ha ha Now The OLDS 98, regencies and luxury sedans came standard with the power windows and locks and I think the six Way power drivers seat also
@@christianbugatticg My other guess is that maybe ALL the big cars came down the line with the door panel set up for a remote because probably 99% of them had the remote LH mirror.

Hey I didn't design it I just found it! Lol! And no power windows or seats. Cars were optioned back then however the customer wanted them!

I just stumbled upon this, and I'm a little confused. It has a GM-generic manual outside mirror but the joystick for a remote mirror.
Yeah, seems a little odd but that is how they designed it. I guess the mirror they thought you could reach didn't matter??
