Something i love about the titles you can pick is all of them are the prophet telling you. "if your so fucking great do it yourself" but if you answer with the dark brotherhood gray fox or i am not worthy, hes becomes intrigued and offers to help you.
The very first time I played oblivion I had all the dlcs downloaded and I went to anvil to start the fighter guild quests and I went to the chapel after hearing about the prophet. Let me tell you the scene I walked into scared me so bad. I was like “damn man I just started the game 😭” then as years went by I realized I didn’t need to download the dlcs right away (I was young playing this game) and I missed normal interactions with the chapel npcs 😂by doing so
@@ABardsBallad I think it's cute. It makes me feel like I'm with a real person playing along side you and not just listening to someone recite rehersed lines from Wikipedia like a lot of lore videos do. ♥
As cool as the deadra and other evil groups in the elder scrolls are, i like that we got a dlc focusing more on the nine divines! There is a ton of info in the lore and in-game books on them, but we dont really get a lot of quests about them
Kudos to you for making videos for this absolutely legendary game. Oblivion just scratches my brain in all the right ways. The Shivering Isles content lives rent free in my head to this day
I have to say, regular uploads and a consistently great quality across all of them. Any chance you could have a go at the Dishonoured series at some point?
Honestly i think knights of the nine is one of the best TES dlcs and stories, it might be shorter than Dawnguard and tribunal but i think its story is very strong
My least favorite dlc from elder scrolls (discounting stuff like horse armor lol). Pelinal whitestrakes lore really does not line up with being some holy knight to be sought only by the humble and virtuous. Dude was a genocidal madman who might've been a time traveling cyborg, they did him way dirty lol. A good story if they used literally anyone else except him
You don't have to go all the way around to get the helmet, instead of jumping down and making your way all the way around, you can just jump over diagonally to the right when you first enter the room with the shrine in it. Simples.
Is it a stylistic choice to sound monotone as if you're reading old notes? Could you try reading your script more as if you were telling a story? I think that would add a lot to your videos. I hope you continue with these series, as I thoroughly enjoy them.
Not really a stylistic thing, just particularly with this one the time I had to record dialogue was early in the morning so I was a little sleepy here lol
2:46 correction: he spends ALL of his time yelling at the top of his lungs at the towns people. It's not just a little preaching here and there, no, but complete monologues about the dastardly corruption. And here I am just recently cleared Benirus manor trying to sit on the porch and enjoy the seaside breezes. Can't even do that while he wails and screeches next door! By Sithis you can't even murder him to get some peace! (Believe me I tried 👀). I didn't really want to delve into that quest as I'm playing a menace and already cleared the thieves guild and DB quests so my infamy is high
I love how fitting it was, for it to be raining in game. When you did nature's furry... You didn't happen to plan that did you? Or was that more of oblivion's beautiful randomness? at work. XD
my personal opninion, you could summarize lengthy conversations like you did in the last episodes of the shivering isles. i just skipped through 6+ minutes of dialogue in the first 7 minutes of the video... im not speaking for everyone ofcourse. some prefer the lengthy dialogue but since this is an old(almost ancient) game you could get away with it.
"Are you a worthy knight?"
I don't know if I am worthy. But I know that the world is in peril and I am willing to do what is necessary.

He hates people who brag. Gotta love him for it😂
Yeah I love that detail 😂 a little bit of arrogance by us and a little bit of bitterness from him lol

😂 that’s too funny! Yeah it’s very abrupt and abrasive with the dlc installed, everyone just wants to chat about the chapel lol
I too started the quest pre installed most confusing stuff ever.
Finding all the places is a pain! But I do love this quest line. I tends to do it after the dark brother hood.
It’s been a great quest line so far! It’s kept me interested every step of the way!
I love when you leave in the minor audio mistakes. Idk why I just find it so endearing 😊
😂 the truth is that I must’ve missed it while editing 👀 I hope I never accidentally leave in a take that I’ve been constantly messing up on 😂

" _blublblbllu_ take two!" Will always be funny to me, more so if the screen gets yeeted so no worries😊

Very true! It’s really cool to see the 9 divines get some time in the spotlight!
I like the little narration that you added before choosing a dialogue option. Adds very nicely to the flow especially if you listen to the video.
MAH! WAKE UP A BARD'S BALLAD HAS BLESSED US WITH ANOTHER VIDEO FOR OUR EAR AND EYE HOLES!
Watch party with mom always goes hard 👌
Brellin was always my favorite person!
Omg you have the best oblivion videos ever. Something new to binge today lol
I really appreciate the continued support! :) I hope you enjoy this one!

I really appreciate the continued support! I’d love to give every game with a great story a video some day! :)
That underwater fort was always my most favorite location. Btw, congratulations on 11k!
It was a really cool thing to explore! And thank you! :) I really appreciate it!
You're gonna get your Elfes subscribers mad .
😂 today’s the day for the humans to stand up 😤

My favourite DLC in Elder Scrolls. A perfect package of content in a neat little bundle.
Another wonderful video to sit back and enjoy!
I hope you enjoy it my friend! Cheers!
Congratulations for 11K subs
For me this DLC is very amusing, and worth it to play
But ironically I played as a dark elf,and it seems Pelinal won't mind that despite his despise of elvenkind
I appreciate it! :) it’s a very fun set of quests to go through!

Understandable opinion! Yeah I read some lore on Pelinal, my man has been all over the place lol
Hey, he lead a glorious crusade.
As glorious as the crusades in our world.
You do work your butt off on this one lol. It was fun and there was really good lore as well!
I hope you enjoyed it! Definitely a lot of work for that first quest lol

Makes sense! I figured there was some sort of parkour we could’ve done! Just also wanted to see where the dungeon would take us! Cheers!

Just in time for bed, love this DLC, thanks for the content king
Yay another great episode! Can't wait to watch.

I love your videos sm! I have seen every single one of them
The one time the crazy homeless dude ranting about the end of the world was actually right
We might have to pay more attention in real life to these people 👀😂
@@ABardsBallad🤣🤣🤣
I remember always using high acrobatics to jump and cheese the helmet.
This game was so great!!!
One of the greatest! :)

hell yeah just had surgery and needed something to distract me
No need for the Prophet to be a dick about it.
