      Hi Hondaboy cheers, my bike is running great so I haven't had a lot to film, and to tell the truth the chain and sprocket would of lasted a good bit longer.

    Hi Lunmad; I have been commenting in your videos a few years ago; I mentioned that I have a 48 and 2 79s. I never had luck with final chains no matter the brand. Yesterday I fitted another D.I.D from Japan in the 79 because the old one is stretched 1 link! Bikes always on the road as commuters not Sunday bikes and the 79s normally at 4200-4700 RPM for a few hours but I shift with kindness etc however, the chains cannot hold the ponies...I asked to the dealer of DID and he offered me a Golden expensive one but you cannot service the bikes with that due to no link; is a closed chain. No luck with different Renolds and other Japanese.

    • @lunmad
      @lunmad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Moto Thank you :-) I have had the lift for a while I have used it before on a video. Being the shape it is it can get in the way if you are working on both sides of the bike, and draining oils is almost impossible.

    nice one John. love the trick with the magnets on the clutch plates, i have used bent stiff thin wire in the past. sorry i can not get up to see you as i just got to much to sort out at the moment. as i said on the phone call wednesday i am going to aim to pop up in the spring. going to try and bring my triumph as well, do you remember when we were round at Johnos place and you took it for a spin? ( passed its MOT by the way ) maybe go for that ride we have been talking about then back to your gaff and get some cans in. the chicken parmos are on me by the way. phone you later on in the week to chat and make plans. regards, Jakob....

      Hi Jackob :-) cheers I must get a couple of stronger magnets, I have a couple of old hard-drives I'll pull them to bits. It'll be good if you can pop up if you bring your bike up a few miles will be in the order.

    Like other have said, great to see you again John.. Too bad you aren't big on facebook or something where people could talk to you on a more regular basis.. That stomach really isn't making getting up out of that floor any easier is it? :P Hey I'm only 33 and I have a LOT harder time getting up out of the floor than you do! I finally sold my Bronco about a month ago, my next vehicle might just say "Made in Oxford" on it.. if I can find a decent one, if not I will just probably get a Dodge.. I think I'm over Fords for a while, they are all I've ever owned so far.
    I just wish I could afford to get a new set of carbs for my dad's T120C so that I could get that thing started up again.. I have oil sitting in the garage that was meant for the Bronco that I could put in it (Castrol 10W30) I definitely miss hearing that thing.
    Hope things are going well for you. Take care.

Sorry I hadn't replied damn youtube never told me you did, till I went back to see what I had said after watching the video and seeing your comment in it.. Without context it really kind of makes me look like a prick.. If I hadn't told you before I actually found out I'm on the autism spectrum, explains a lot about me and my shit social skills/odd sense of humor.. At least you brits seem to get that I wouldn't waste my energy messing with you if I didn't like you...
