    Skeptical about that camera protector since it is just a slab of glass. It would mess up with the laser auto focus. Should have had a cutout for laser module. Check shifting focus between various distances and see if it is still working.

    You're supposed to wipe down the sides before doing the final UV light curing. If there is any spill over, you'll just harden it to the outside of your phone.

      No problem at all, i use a piece of paper to scrape off the glue stuck between the screen and bezel

    My first time using there screen protector and installing it. I did it just like you did as well. Wasnt really hard if you get everything organized and remember the steps. Good video btw. My question is if you experienced any issues after a couple days? My screen protector looked like it was installed perfectly for two days and then my first day at work (working outdoors in a cool environment under the shade), I pulled my phone out of my drawer before I clocked out and found tiny micro bubbles in 3 rows under the top left corner. Still looks fine everywhere else and works great but the perfectionist in me wants to get it fixed or redone

    • @PhonesAndDrones
      @PhonesAndDrones  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never had that issue and usually with the curing process you should not have any bubbles. Perhaps you didn't use the UV light long enough maybe just a guess though

    I have no affiliation with amfilm but I just installed it on my gf's Note 20 Ultra and just look up their video; it's a bit easier to install and $30 less; we paid $40 on ebay for a 2-pack. Everything is very comparable if not better. Just thought I'd throw out this as a psa. I'm sure whitestone is fine but at $70 you may want to do some comparisons.

    When you put the adhesive on the sides, do you cover the volume/power buttons or just put in the middle? The side pieces don't cover the entire side like the top and bottom

    When I put my Dome glass on my Note 10+ it would always rest too low on the screen and was would crack even though I never dropped my phone. I know it's a bit early but have you had any similar problems with this Dome glass?

      Its not to bad, just take your time.. do it right and it comes out perfect. By far best screen protector iv had hands down.. Had 1 on my Note 9 for almost years, traded it in so i needed to remove the screen protector, it came off with a bit of effort and the display was still like brand new, all the glue stayed with the screen protector.. Plus life time warranty, if it cracks they send you a new one, just pay shipping..

      I have done it on 3 different phones, and re-applied 3x on my Note 10. Some hints:
      1. MAKE SURE YOUR SURFACE IS PERFECTLY FLAT. Cant say it enough. In fact, use a level to check the surface first
      2. Lay everything out first
      3. If you have a curved screen Samsung phone, make sure the screen protector is laid folded edge down

    nice work..However, I have to give the highest grade with the best attention to detail with great instructions to Ebpman. he goes over details much more thoroughly , and points out critical details for a flawless installation. And now, Whitestone has dropped the ball with quality . So, Whitestone dome is well-known, the recent
    issues are disturbing. AM Film is cheaper, but is it equivalent?
