Actually the regular note 20 doesn't sucks only difference is ultra has bigger screen expandable storage and more ram but both got snapdragon and if u in America u get the snapdragon version instead of exynos

I love it so far I switched from a Note 9 as well. Got mine Friday morning after work. Still learning new things, and as far as size difference its not that big a deal even with the bulky Pelican case.
Upgraded from the Note 9 Wed night (my Sprint pre-order showed up Wed 19th) after three full days of usage battery life not as good as Note 9 using the same way and same apps as before. Will have to charge it more often. I value speed and performance more (heavy business user) and the 20 Ultra delivers. From everything I read and watched about it I did not expect to get the same battery life as my Note 9. I got it for Sd 865+, UFS 3.0, 120Hz. Performance. And it shows.
Traded in my note 9 as well. After a couple days of use I haven't had any heat issues at all. The 4500ma battery lasts as long provided you don't use 120 for every thing. Biggest difference I have seen is speed and cameras. Only issue for me so far is getting used to buttons on the right as well as the S pen. Cheers all
I just switched from my note 9 aswell. My battery life just started dying. My phone would be at 80, I wouldn't go on it for a few hours while I was out, and suddenly it would be at 4.

The dark mode as scheduled actually existed on Samsung phones starting with Android 9 Pie Google made it a standard feature for it's phones and all of the others, to my knowledge since Android 10.

Samsung Pay does not work at Lowes unless they changed things due to the current state of affairs. Lowes blocks NFC payments on the back end so it will look like it takes the payment but ultimately gets denied.
I got my galaxy 20 5g from spectrum mobile today. It's already on Android 11 and some of the setting features he talks about in this video aren't available. I'm assuming that is because when this video was made it was on Android 10?

Something that could be a little of an annoyance is the location of Samsung Pay. I had to move it out of the bottom edge as it popped up too often when using the home gesture. You can do that by selecting the 3 dots within Samsung Pay to get to the settings.
One question:" who uses that much storage? There online storages, besides that you can upload it on a pc/laptop. I like big storage too, but for what are you going to use it? You can take a lot of fotos and video etc. and you still would hardly fill the space. I am using the s8, which has 64 gb and at the moment I got 33.1 Gb on the storage. I uploaded my fotos etc on goole pictures.
People like me who's always on the go and doesn't have the time to sync almost 1 TB (just photos and videos) of data online and wants everything in one place.. I have pictures of art pieces which I can't delete and remove off my phone and everything has to be HD Since I have to show it to some curators and clients when we have a quick meeting.. So.. Yeah, online storage isn't really an option for me. Yeah I save them online but I still have to have them on phone.. I always bring 2 phones with me and the note 20 ultra will be the 3rd.. I considered fold but they said it's not as efficient as note 20 ultra

Just what I needed, the ability to change the color of the clock. Decisions, decisions, decisions. If I went through every option setting up this phone by the time I was done and ready to use it I'd be dead already because I wouldn't live that long. I'd prefer, get rid of the black dot on the screen, give me back the 3.5 mm audio output jack, and frankly I'd like to be able to change the battery myself when I need to. If there is no slot for a microSD card as others said then that alone is a deal breaker. Reminds me of the Note 5 which was something I'd never buy. Might go for Note 9.
Most modern flagships will not allow you to disturb the battery yourself. The Note 20 Ultra variant does have SD card support. If you don't care about these changes you don't have to set them up. The phone already comes with many presets out of the box so that you don't have to go down the rabbit hole of settings. This video is more geared towards users who would like to get the most out of their phones using new and advanced settings. Although I must remark it is quite foolish to purchase such expensive phones and not take advantage of the extra features you paid for.

I have a stupid question that Sprint can't answer. Whenever watching a downloaded or taken video on my old Note 8, after shutting off or closing the app, would continue playing where I left off when I went back to that same video stored in the gallery. My new Note Ultra 512 GB does not. Starts over every time. In 50 videos and 1000's of comments no one can address this. Is it a setting? Sprint said there is no answer in their Samsung database. I'll get a call back in a week or 2. Anyone have an answer???

I found the swipe gestures incredibly annoying with the Samsung pay quick access. I disabled the quick access on the home screen because I always accidentally activated it..
I use the edge panel daily for different things 😉 Its just become normal bc I've used it for so long I guess lmbo. Maybe I'm just a weirdo 🤭 but all the features that come in the note line is y I'm a note user and have been since Note1. I've had them all but 9 and 10 no fault of my own. I love using all the things Samsung has to offer in the note series makes things fun to do and simple. I can't wait to get my note 20 ultra in hand!

I also have a 64gb S9 and have been happy with it, I have an absurd amount of photos and videos and downloaded apps and games and am still happy with it...however I did just upgrade to the 128gb Note 20, I'm waiting on it to come in the mail but I can't imagine EVER using that much storage.
You pay the same premium amount for an inferior version of the phone, Samsung is taking people for fools.They won't be cheating me out of 1400€ that's for sure. I would be happy to pay it, if it came with the Snapdragon 865+, but I guess Samsung prefer to provide Europe with the FAR inferior chip set. You are buying a completely different phone in Europe don't waste your money, 25% to 30% slower, heats up your phone, in a short space of time battery is draining faster, and hinders certian apps on your phone + camera etc etc. Don't be taken for an idiot.

Samsung downgraded North American Note20 Ultra base storage to128gb to "compensate" international markets for the Exynos processor 😡. They got the standard 256gb instead of a Snapdragon 865+ .
I hope so, I just did. My belief is that you should only consider upgrading when your present device can no longer keep up with your needs. For example, if I just get an important new application for my computer and my graphics card can't keep up because its too slow or outdated. The only really new technology that has come along is 5G. So even a Note 10 Ultra is worth buying if its one that has 5G capability. Sure newer cards may be faster, but there's nothing an S22 can do that a Note 20 Ultra cannot. In fact, the S22 doesn't have an expansion slot. Which is one good reason it didn't interest me.
@@krane15 no sir, my concern is for galaxy note 20 (5G), and it releases by 2020, so if I bug this device I only get OS, User Interface and security updates for 1 year more. Hey how do you screen capture using your quick panel. I used to use smart select on my note 10+, but I don't see it on the ultra.

Check with Samsung. It might be. When in doubt check with the manufacturer they will be easier to get ahold of

How did you get the pixel like weather widget on the top of the screen?
I have a stupid question that Sprint can't answer. Whenever watching a downloaded or taken video on my old Note 8, after shutting off or closing the app, would continue playing where I left off when I went back to that same video stored in the gallery. My new Note Ultra 512 GB does not. Starts over every time. In 50 videos and 1000's of comments no one can address this. Is it a setting? Sprint said there is no answer in their Samsung database. I'll get a call back in a week or 2. Anyone have an answer???
Did you figure it out. If not give samsung a call. When it comes t certain things I contact the manufacturer since thy know more than the carrier. when I had my iphone I called apple before my carrier

@@DavidElliottLewis Use ublock origin. it's cpu friendly. other than that most of the extensions sucks your cpu usage so hard.
I found the swipe gestures incredibly annoying with the Samsung pay quick access. I disabled the quick access on the home screen because I always accidentally activated it..

I use the edge panel daily for different things 😉 Its just become normal bc I've used it for so long I guess lmbo. Maybe I'm just a weirdo 🤭 but all the features that come in the note line is y I'm a note user and have been since Note1. I've had them all but 9 and 10 no fault of my own. I love using all the things Samsung has to offer in the note series makes things fun to do and simple. I can't wait to get my note 20 ultra in hand!

I also have a 64gb S9 and have been happy with it, I have an absurd amount of photos and videos and downloaded apps and games and am still happy with it...however I did just upgrade to the 128gb Note 20, I'm waiting on it to come in the mail but I can't imagine EVER using that much storage.

You pay the same premium amount for an inferior version of the phone, Samsung is taking people for fools.They won't be cheating me out of 1400€ that's for sure. I would be happy to pay it, if it came with the Snapdragon 865+, but I guess Samsung prefer to provide Europe with the FAR inferior chip set. You are buying a completely different phone in Europe don't waste your money, 25% to 30% slower, heats up your phone, in a short space of time battery is draining faster, and hinders certian apps on your phone + camera etc etc. Don't be taken for an idiot.
Its a marketing strategy similar to that of Apple's. They know hardcore sylus users that want the newest and best of sylus on a mobile will buy the base mode which i dont get why people would do that especially if you are in a exynos regionl. At least they shouldve gone with a 865 instead of the + and a 90hz refresh rate. Wtf is up with sammy these days smh... Just wait for the fan edition coming with 120hz snapdragon chip at a cheaper price all over thr world. It will be so much more worth your moeny than the ripoff note 20 base model.
Samsung make great phones but the processor is the brain of the phone and Exynos is not as equal to Snapdragon so until they get the message from phone buyers why pay so much until Snapdragon is available all over the planet🙏🙏

Samsung downgraded North American Note20 Ultra base storage to128gb to "compensate" international markets for the Exynos processor 😡. They got the standard 256gb instead of a Snapdragon 865+ .

I hope so, I just did. My belief is that you should only consider upgrading when your present device can no longer keep up with your needs. For example, if I just get an important new application for my computer and my graphics card can't keep up because its too slow or outdated.
The only really new technology that has come along is 5G. So even a Note 10 Ultra is worth buying if its one that has 5G capability. Sure newer cards may be faster, but there's nothing an S22 can do that a Note 20 Ultra cannot. In fact, the S22 doesn't have an expansion slot. Which is one good reason it didn't interest me.
@@krane15 no sir, my concern is for galaxy note 20 (5G), and it releases by 2020, so if I bug this device I only get OS, User Interface and security updates for 1 year more. And at the same time devices released now will get more updates.
Same time note 20 have the advantage that it's a note series phone comes with stylus and rate now is affordable.

Love my Note Ultra! I'm done with Samsung after being with them since Note 2, but when I pay 1300$ for a phone? I'm not going to be looking for ways to get better battery and get shorted out of internal storage bcuz they don't have their chips right for all their customers! I have Snapdragon 128gb. Yet exonos variant gets 256gb like my Note 10 Plus of last year!!! Bunch of crap... not doing it again! I hope everyone is complaining to Samsung (and then pulling Apple crap) and I hope that all Note lovers force them to get back to Our Powerhouse Notes! 1 loaded device....Samsung! Or you'll lose a lot of consumers! One here for sure....
