Whitestone probably has the best application guide.
The only issue with the screen protector, and any screen protector in general, is that it works great for the normal navigation. However, the screen protector will start to chip away of you are using the gesture based navigation.

You missed some very important stages of the install process including wiping the excess glue from the sides of the phone after you remove it from the tray. You also didn't undeline how important it is to not cover the screen edge in anyway when applying the black tape to all four sides. In fact when you show a close up of the tape over the buttons you can see tape is over the screen edge.

Installation for this screen protector is so hit or miss. I followed the instructions EXACTLY as printed and watched three different videos and there wasn't enough adhesive that came out of the black tube to reach one of my phones corners (waited the full 80 seconds). This was on a totally flat surface and the adhesive bubble was perfectly centered under the guide when I removed the tab.
So I tried to press down to get the adhesive to that corner and it created micro bubbles that are impossible to remove. And I also notice the screen protector moves a lot vertically when on the phone when the adhesive isn't cured. The clear plastic guide has TERRIBLE tolerances and the two triangle guide protrusions to center the screen protector vertically located on the top and bottom of the top guide when the top guide is securely fitted to the bottom guide. These poor tolerances allow the screen protector to go under the triangle tabs and move vertically.
I also noticed that the screen protector edges aren't curved enough to properly fit my Note 20 Ultra and are slightly "lifted" from the edges of the phone. Overall I cannot believe I spent $65 on something that his this shoddy of an installation procedure. Almost want to rip it off and throw it away. You always learn that more expensive doesn't always equal better.

Thank you for mentioning how far the edges of the screen protector fit the curve of the screen. Its very difficult to tell from the videos and pictures. I would imagine that this makes the Edge Panels feature more difficult to use?

Bit fiddly to install, but it worked a treat. I had some air bubbles but they were easily squeezed out before the first round of curing, and one corner didn't glue properly, but I'm not too concerned about it because it's only a fraction of a mm that's not glued, and the case covers that part anyway. Turned the touch sensitivity up before I put on the protector because I read that helps, and didn't have any issues with the fingerprint scanner. No need to re-register fingerprints. Overall pretty happy with the product.

@@vincegarcia6422 pretty good actually. I dropped my phone pretty bad but only the screen protector cracked, the glass under it was perfectly fine. I also had a piece chip off but that was purely because I didn't glue it down properly when I first put the protector on.

no matter how expensive the tempered glass is in the end edges are gonna chip anyway. In tempered glass the sides are covered with a black layer which hides part of the screen. whereas with installed screen protectors there's no such problem. I've been using Gadgetshieldz screen protector for few months, i didn't encounter any peeling on the edges or yellowing of the skin.

    Qs
@ 0:40 the Amazon info says it's a "two pack", if so, and as you say there's a spare for use on the same protector of things go wrong... there should be 4 tubes of glue, no?
@ 0:54 you explain the need for a flat surface, but @ 0:30 you've already told us to get everything out where we'll be working... Maybe swap these timelines around?
@ 1:52 why mention the speaker location to instruct what way round the device is being placed in the tray, when lots of us would know it's got stereo audio devices and you could just tell us to put it in "upright", or, "camera pinhole at the top" etc
@ 2:00 where you're putting the adhesive stickers on to avoid glue ingress, would there not be a risk of allowing the protector to sit in to of this if you got it wrong? You might have needed to show a close-up to ensure we're aware of the potential issue.
@ 2:42 I can see a huge hair under the bridge, how does dust particles and hair affect the quality? Does the glue swamp it and make invisible as it drops?
If a few dust particles or the odd hair is made invisible somehow, then to be reassured in the video would be useful.
If it *does* matter for any foreign particles to be absent, then the less time the raw screen is laid bare the better needs to be an essential message to add and reinforce.
Suggestion if it matters: pre-assemble the bridge and glue assembly, leave the glue bottle lid to remove until both are attached, or remove that if it's UV that will start the cutting and none will drop out. This could reduce the time the screen is exposed to the dust laden air and avoid any debris from landing on the screen.
@ 2:26 could the reason for this "pin" need explained at this point
@ 3:12 you're showing the protector being lowered with a tab that seems like it would have just been removed in taking the protective film off, how is this possible please. Or are you holding it the opposite way over and there's an extra tab the other end... Either way, more footage and explanation please.
@ 3:15 how is it being ensured the protector doesn't immediately drop, and how is accurate alignment being ensured for when it drops? Some other simpler devices have a rigid frame that ensures it's micro metre accurate.
@ 3:35 are you suggesting when the cross-hairs are over the centre of the adhesive bubble being the trigger? If so, maybe show an overhead camera angle too? "When it reaches the highlighted area" or is it when the bubble his the horizontal line?
@ 3:38 this all happens very quickly and might need slowing down perhaps. How is the screen released, there's a hefty bang as the while tray thumps into the table, the higher you hold the tray the bigger the impact.
For such an engineered frame, the clunky drop seems very low tech no?
As the glue runs across the display, if there's a need to avoid touching the top of the screen while the glue is running under the glass, this would be the time to add some audio to encourage resisting this urge? Maybe explain the volume of glue has been engineered to a precise calibration etc.
What are the "things that could go wrong", and how can you mitigate?
@ 4:10 are you suggesting that the same screen can be used again? The screen in view looks *destroyed* and full of glue, how clean does it need to be? Isn't this the reason for the extra protector?
@ 4:16 how is putting the film on the *top* of the protector stopping dust getting on to the *underside*? Or is it going on the underside again, if so, when you're taking the protective film *off*, you could warn/help how to lay this to love side for possible secondary use etc.
@ 4:20 you say, "if you are happy with the position of your screen protector"... Does the tray not ensure its 100% assignment? Is there an option to relocate it at this stage? If not, you need guide that it needs to be ripped off at this stage, rather than curing the glue.
@ 4:34 it would need to be added that a mains USB adapter is not included and needs to be acquired. Idea: for easier usage, suggest using a power-bank... When guiding to set out all the equipment, maybe mention this then.
@ 4:48 can you guide on the reason for completing the curing in 2 stages, and not simply 1 minute 15 for bothn and not needing to remove from the tray.
@ 5:27 you say "the front camera is cut out perfectly", but the alignment looks very off-centre , albeit the angle of the video is not straight on, it still seems highly inaccurate. (If a parallax issue, then again, I'd suggest a front-on camera angle. Also a full perimeter look at all the edges to show how accurate it's been bedded in)
Any suggestions for improving the air conditions when applying the protector? Some mention when it's high humidity, but bizarre to do in or near the bathroom with the shower on etc! But any optimal tweaks?
Would you suggest registering fingerprints *before* or *after*. If other protectors block the fingerprint sensor, this could be a point to mention in this video.
Is there a need like every other tempered glass protector I've used, to use the setting to increase touch sensitivity?
The box has mention of a blue layer filter, this would suggest some discolouration of the display... How is this not true? How does it not affect the visual look of the display.
Is there any after-use repurposing options for the UV lamp?
Look forward to seeing your responses.... I've already bought one and although 2 protectors, "only" 2 tubes. Scaffolding is in there, fingers crossed!!!!!

Whitestone will NOT work with other cases olther than Samsung official cases due to a partnering. It will not work with otterbox defender case. Use amfilm glass and use a dremel tool to grind out the bottom corners of the front of the case. Do not grind so far as to damage the front of the case. Just grind the plastic to not press on the glass at the bottom. Works perfectly.

I have a whitestone installed on 2 different phones and a friend also installed one. All 3 of us have difficulty getting the fingerprint reader to work reliably. It'll work pretty well during the set up, but once you actually try to use it regularly, you have to press very hard into the screen to get it to read. Almost feels like you might damage the screen with the excess pressure over time. Aside from that, love the screen protector.
